Miguel Rojas SS | LAD
Dodgers' Miguel Rojas: Reinstated from IL
The Dodgers reinstated Rojas (forearm) from the 10-day injured list Wednesday.
Rojas landed on the injured list July 24 due to right forearm tightness, and he played in just one rehab game in Single-A. However, now back on the active roster, the 35-year-old will likely start at shortstop until Mookie Betts (hand) is able to return from the IL. James Outman was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City in a corresponding move.

Oneil Cruz SS | PIT
Pirates' Oneil Cruz: Sitting again Wednesday
Cruz (illness) is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Padres, Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribunereports.
The 25-year-old was held out of Tuesday's starting nine due to an illness and will sit for a second straight game Wednesday. Isiah Kiner-Falefa will receive another look at shortstop while Jared Triolo starts at second base with Cruz under the weather.

Marco Luciano SS | NYY
Giants' Marco Luciano: On bench again Wednesday
Luciano is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Nationals, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
After receiving a call-up from Triple-A Sacramento on July 30, Luciano made starts at designated hitter in five of the ensuing six games, but he went just 3-for-17 with eight strikeouts. His run as an everyday player may already be over, as Luciano is sitting for the third time in four games, including for the second time against a right-handed starting pitcher (Jake Irvin).

Diamondbacks' Geraldo Perdomo: Getting rest for second game of day
Perdomo is out of the lineup for the second game of Wednesday's doubleheader with the Guardians, Jesse Friedman of GoPHNX.com reports.

Padres' Ha-Seong Kim: Out again Wednesday
Kim (triceps) remains out of the lineup for Wednesday's game in Pittsburgh, Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Edmundo Sosa 3B | PHI
Phillies' Edmundo Sosa: Homers late in win
Sosa went 2-for-4 with a solo homer, three RBI and a steal in Tuesday's win over the Dodgers.
Sosa singled home two runs in the sixth and later added some more insurance with a solo home run in the ninth inning. The RBI were his first since July 12 and it was just his second multi-hit game since June 27. Sosa got some run as a starter when Trea Turner was injured earlier in the year, but Sosa's primarily operated as a bench bat. The 28-year-old is slashing .274/.329/.458 with six homers, 25 RBI, 29 runs, six steals and a 10:50 BB:K in 207 plate appearances this season.

Willy Adames SS | SF
Brewers' Willy Adames: Goes yard twice in rout
Adames went 4-for-5 with two home runs and four RBI in Tuesday's 10-0 win over Atlanta.
The shortstop launched two-run shots off Bryce Elder in the first and third innings. It was Adames' second multi-homer performance of the season, with the other coming May 1 against the Rays. Over his last 20 games, he's posted a blistering .329/.391/.633 slash line with six homers, 13 runs and 17 RBI, and Adames sits one long ball short of his fourth straight 20-homer campaign.

Oneil Cruz SS | PIT
Pirates' Oneil Cruz: Battling illness
Cruz was unavailable for Tuesday's game against the Padres due to an illness, Alex Stumpf of MLB.com reports.
Cruz had started every game since the All-Star break, slashing .300/.354/.583 with three homers and 12 RBI in 15 games before his illness forced him to sit down Tuesday. Isiah Kiner-Falefa and Jared Triolo made up the middle of Pittsburgh's infield while Cruz was sidelined, and they would both likely get the starting nod again if the 25-year-old slugger is unable to play Wednesday.

Dansby Swanson SS | CHC
Cubs' Dansby Swanson: Tallies three hits in win
Swanson went 3-for-4 with a triple, an RBI and a run scored in Tuesday's 7-3 win over the Twins.
Swanson tallied just his second three-hit effort of the season and first since June 8. It's mostly been a struggle for the shortstop, who's batting just .230 with a .658 OPS for the year, but he's been better lately. Over his last 15 games, Swanson is batting .353 with an .855 OPS. The 30-year-old's MLB track record suggests he could sustain this level of production and finish the season on a high note.

C.J. Abrams SS | WAS
Nationals' CJ Abrams: Homers in win
Abrams went 2-for-5 with a three-run home run in Tuesday's 11-5 win over the Giants.
Abrams gave the Nationals the lead on a three-run homer in the second inning and added a single in the third. The shortstop has gone just 4-for-23 in five August contests after a rough July, but two of those hits have left the park. On the year, he is hitting .252 with 17 home runs, 57 RBI, 68 runs scored and 20 steals across 473 plate appearances.
