Enrique Hernandez 3B | LAD
Dodgers' Enrique Hernandez: Goes yard Wednesday
Hernandez went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and an additional RBI in Wednesday's 6-4 extra-inning win over the Rockies.
Hernandez delivered offense in his first two at-bats, supplying an RBI single in the second inning before taking Kyle Freeland deep in the fourth. Hernandez continues to play regularly versus southpaws, though he hadn't done much since returning from an oblique injury in late July. He's just 4-for-28 (.143) at the plate since he was activated, and his homer Wednesday was his first extra-base hit in that span. Overall, he's batting .250 with a .773 OPS, two homers, five RBI, four runs scored and two doubles over 33 plate appearances this season.

Ke'Bryan Hayes 3B | CIN
Reds' Ke'Bryan Hayes: Heading to bench Wednesday
Hayes is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Cardinals.
Hayes' .456 OPS places him last among the 367 major-league hitters who have logged at least 150 plate appearances this season, but his capable glove at third base in addition to Reds' lack of appealing alternatives have allowed him to maintain a fairly steady presence in the lineup. Though he'll be be on the bench Wednesday, Hayes had started in four of the previous five games.

Blaze Jordan 3B | STL
Cardinals' Blaze Jordan: Drawing sixth straight start
Jordan will start at third base and bat eighth in Wednesday's game against the Reds.
Jordan will pick up his sixth consecutive start after going 5-for-20 with a home run, a triple, a walk, three RBI and two runs over the prior five contests. The Cardinals had previously been using Jordan primarily against lefties, but the rookie has now cracked the lineup in three straight matchups versus righties. Manager Oliver Marmol appears to be giving Jordan another look as an everyday player at the hot corner, with Jose Fermin moving back into more of a utility role as a result.

David Hamilton 3B | MIL
Brewers' David Hamilton: Grabbing seat Wednesday
Hamilton is absent from the lineup for Wednesday's game versus the Mariners.
Hamilton typically starts against most righties, but with Cooper Pratt back from the injured list to take over at shortstop, Hamilton and Joey Ortiz will be mixed and matched at third base. It's Ortiz at the hot corner for the Brewers on Wednesday.

Arenado sat out the Diamondbacks' first two games in Boston after he exited Sunday's 5-3 loss to Atlanta due to left side discomfort. Per MLB.com, a follow-up MRI revealed a "small signal" in his left intercostal, but Arenado looks like he'll be able to play through the injury after a couple of days of rest.
