Karros is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Tigers, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.
Karros started the past five games after returning from a concussion Tuesday and will get a breather Sunday after going 3-for-19 with a triple and a solo homer. Vimael Machin will step in at the hot corner and bat seventh for the Rockies in the series finale.
