Angels' Jose Soriano: Struggles mightily with control
9m agoSoriano did not factor into the decision Monday, allowing three runs (two earned) on three hits and seven walks over 4.2 innings against the Rockies. He struck out seven.
Soriano generated a huge number of whiffs (22) but struggled mightily with his control, surrendering a staggering nine free passes between walks and hit batsmen. The right-hander was elite through his first seven starts, posting a 0.24 ERA and 0.82 WHIP across 37.2 innings, but has since regressed to the tune of a 5.17 ERA and 1.59 WHIP over 38.1 innings across his past seven outings. Soriano is now 6-4 with a 2.72 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 85:38 K:BB across 76 innings. He'll look to get back on track in his next start, which is tentatively scheduled for Sunday against the Dodgers.

Rockies' Kyle Freeland: Lit up in third inning Monday
20m agoFreeland did not factor into the decision Monday, allowing six runs (five earned) on seven hits and a walk over 5.2 innings against the Angels. He struck out four.
Freeland was done in by a five-run third inning headlined by a Jose Siri grand slam, with all five runs coming with two outs in the frame. After a positive three-start stretch to open the season, the southpaw has struggled mightily, posting a 10.86 ERA and 2.01 WHIP across 32.1 innings over his past seven outings. His overall numbers now sit at an 8.06 ERA, 1.71 WHIP and 43:15 K:BB across 48 innings. Freeland's next start is tentatively lined up for Sunday against the Brewers, though his significant struggles leave him far from fantasy relevance.

Mariners' Josh Naylor: Dealing with back spasms
2h agoNaylor was removed from Monday's game against the Mets in the eighth inning due to back spasms, Tim Booth of The Seattle Times reports.
After hitting a game-tying homer in the bottom of the seventh, Naylor didn't come out to play defense in the top of the eighth and was replaced at first base by Patrick Wisdom. Prior to exiting, Naylor went 1-for-3 with the solo blast, his sixth homer of the season and first since May 8, snapping a 20-game home run drought. Consider Naylor day-to-day ahead of Tuesday's tilt with the Mets.

Brewers' Christian Yelich: Productive in easy win
2h agoYelich went 3-for-5 with two RBI, three runs scored and a walk in Monday's 16-2 win over the Giants.
Yelich was notably one of seven Brewers to tally multiple hits Monday and one of six Milwaukee batters to register multiple RBI. The three-hit performance was the veteran slugger's fourth of the campaign as well. Through 109 at-bats, Yelich is hitting .275 with 10 extra-base hits, 18 RBI, 21 runs scored and three stolen bases.

Brewers' Brice Turang: Busy in lopsided win
2h agoTurang went 2-for-2 with two RBI, two walks, two runs scored, a double and a triple in Monday's 16-2 win over the Giants.
Turang recorded his second triple of the season and the 11th of his career. It was a breakout performance of sorts for the second baseman, who entered Monday in an 0-for-19 cold snap over his last six games. Through 244 trips to the plate in 2026, Turang is slashing an excellent .270/.401/.459 with seven home runs, 33 RBI, 46 runs scored and nine stolen bases.

Tigers' Dillon Dingler: Powers offense with two home runs
4h agoDingler went 4-for-5 with a double, two home runs, two additional runs scored and four total RBI in Monday's 10-9 win over the Rays.
Dingler led the charge Monday with his best all-around game of the season, hitting two of Detroit's five home runs as a team in the offensive showcase. The catcher is now up to 13 long balls for the year, which ties his tally from the entire 2025 regular season. Dingler has struggled to make consistent contact recently with a .189 batting average over his last 15 games before Monday, but his power potential certainly helps offset that. Among MLB catchers, Dingler is second in home runs behind Shea Langeliers, who has gone deep 14 times.

Logan Porter SF C
Giants' Logan Porter: DFA'd by San Francisco
9h agoThe Giants designated Porter for assignment Monday, John Shea of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Porter has appeared in five major-league games for the Giants this season but has spent most of 2026 in Triple-A, where he is slashing .241/.292/.362 with one home run and 10 RBI across 65 plate appearances. With Porter DFA'd and Joel Peguero (hamstring) placed on the 60-day injured list, both transactions opened up spots on the 40-man roster for Wilkin Ramos and Buddy Kennedy.

Jesus Rodriguez SF C
Giants' Jesus Rodriguez: Optioned to Triple-A
9h agoThe Giants optioned Rodriguez to Triple-A following Sunday's game against the Rockies, John Shea of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Rodriguez has provided depth both behind home plate and in the outfield since being recalled from Sacramento in early May, and in 14 major-league games he has gone 9-for-39 (.231) with one steal, two home runs and seven RBI. He'll return to an everyday role at Triple-A, where he boasts an .830 OPS with four steals, 14 RBI and six extra-base hits across 115 plate appearances this season.

Drew Romo CHW C
White Sox's Drew Romo: Fading into timeshare
10h agoRomo is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Twins.
Romo had been serving as the White Sox's No. 1 catcher for much of May, but he appears to have since fallen into more of a timeshare with Edgar Quero. The White Sox will go with Quero behind the dish Monday for the fourth time in six games, with two of those starts coming against left-handers and two coming versus righties. Romo's downturn in playing time comes while he's hit just .171 with a 27.8 percent strikeout rate over his last 10 contests.

Daniel Susac SF C
Giants' Daniel Susac: Heading to bench Monday
10h agoSusac is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Brewers, Justice delos Santos of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Perez will head to the bench for just the third time all season, breaking a streak of 18 consecutive starts for the 35-year-old backstop. The night off comes while Perez has fallen into another offensive lull. Over his last five starts, Perez went 2-for-18 with a 1:4 BB:K to bring his OPS down to a career-low .615 on the season.

White Sox's Munetaka Murakami: Gets PRP injection for hamstring
8h agoWhite Sox manager Will Venable said Monday that Murakami (hamstring) stayed back in Chicago during the team's road trip and was given a platelet-rich plasma injection, James Fegan of SoxMachine.com reports.
Murakami landed on the 10-day injured list Saturday and is expected to miss 4-to-6 weeks of action with a Grade 2 right hamstring strain. The hope is that the PRP injection helps aid the healing process, but he will be sidelined several weeks regardless.

TJ Rumfield COL 1B
Rockies' TJ Rumfield: Absent from Monday's lineup
8h agoRumfield (shoulder) is not in the Rockies' starting lineup against the Angels on Monday.
Rumfield is dealing with right shoulder inflammation, which caused him to be scratched from Sunday's lineup against the Giants. He's not ready to return for Monday's series opener, so Edouard Julien will start at first base and bat seventh against the Halos.

Mark Vientos NYM 1B
Mets' Mark Vientos: Not in Monday's lineup

Tigers' Hao-Yu Lee: Hits second home run Monday
4h agoLee went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Monday's 10-9 win over the Rays.
Lee's second home run at the MLB level was one of five long balls hit by Detroit in the high-scoring contest. The 23-year-old infielder is off to a fairly slow start with a .205 batting average and .578 OPS across his first 32 games in the majors, though he's seeing more playing time at second base with Gleyber Torres (oblique) on the injured list. However, Torres could be back as soon as Tuesday, which would likely push Lee back to the bench or down to the minors.

Cody Freeman TEX 2B
Rangers' Cody Freeman: Back with big club
9h agoThe Rangers recalled Freeman from Triple-A Round Rock on Monday, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Freeman was optioned last week after completing his rehab from a lower-back fracture, but he will rejoin the Rangers now as a roster replacement for Sam Haggerty (bereavement). The 25-year-old Freeman homered twice and reached base nine times over his last three games with Round Rock. Freeman could be sent back down later this week when Haggerty returns.

Tigers' Gleyber Torres: Could return from IL on Tuesday
11h agoTorres (oblique) has joined the Tigers at Tropicana Field on Monday and could be activated from the 10-day injured list prior to Tuesday's game versus the Rays, Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press reports.
Torres appears to be done with his rehab assignment after playing back-to-back games with Triple-A Toledo on Saturday and Sunday. He will receive some rest Monday before returning to the Tigers' active roster Tuesday, barring unforeseen circumstances. Torres has been shelved since early May while battling a left oblique strain.

Luis Arraez SF 2B
Giants' Luis Arraez: Logs three RBI in victory
15h agoArraez went 1-for-4 with three RBI, two runs scored and a walk in Sunday's 19-6 win over the Rockies.
Arraez drove in runs on sacrifice flies in the fourth and eighth innings, was intentionally walked in the fifth before coming around to score and added an RBI single in the seventh. The 29-year-old infielder had a productive month, slashing .340/.395/.490 with 18 runs scored, 12 RBI, two long balls and a stolen base across 116 plate appearances in May. Overall, he's slashing .321/.363/.422 with 29 runs scored, 23 RBI, five stolen bases and two home runs in 244 plate appearances on the campaign.

Ezequiel Duran TEX 2B
Rangers' Ezequiel Duran: Delivers runs in three straight
18h agoDuran went 1-for-4 with a triple, two RBI and a run scored in Sunday's 6-3 win over the Royals.
All of Duran's offense came in the Rangers' four-run first inning. He plated two with two-out triple and scored one batter later. He had RBI in all three games in the sweep of the Royals and amassed 16 RBI over the last 13 contests.

Miguel Vargas CHW 3B
White Sox's Miguel Vargas: Goes deep twice Monday
3h agoVargas went 3-for-5 with two home runs, a double and four total RBI in a loss to the Twins on Monday.
Though his production wasn't enough to guide Chicago to a victory, Vargas certainly made his fantasy managers happy. He belted a two-run blast in the fifth inning to pull the White Sox to within two runs and gave his team a glimmer of hope with another two-run shot in the ninth. Vargas had a strong May with seven home runs, 19 RBI and four stolen bases over 28 contests, and he's already gotten off to a blazing start to June. On the season, he's slashing .241/.366/.509 with 15 homers (tied for 10th-most in MLB), 38 RBI, 44 runs and nine steals through 59 games.
-
Tristan Gray MIN 3B
Twins' Tristan Gray: Slugs second grand slam of season
3h agoGray went 1-for-3 with a grand slam and a sacrifice fly Monday in a 9-6 win against the White Sox.
Gray snapped a 1-1 tie in the fourth inning with a grand slam to right-center field. That was his fourth homer of the campaign, two of which have been grand slams. Gray seems to have become Minnesota's preferred choice at shortstop, as he's started at the position in each of the team's past seven games. He's gone 5-for-21 with two doubles, one homer, nine RBI and a stolen base over that span.

Buddy Kennedy SF 3B
Giants' Buddy Kennedy: Contract selected Monday
9h agoThe Giants selected Kennedy's contract from Triple-A Sacramento on Monday, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Kennedy has had a dynamite season with Sacramento, slashing .321/.424/.543 with eight home runs, five steals and a 27:27 BB:K over 48 games. The 27-year-old is likely slated for a reserve infielder role in San Francisco.

Javier Sanoja MIA 3B
Marlins' Javier Sanoja: On bench again Monday
10h agoSanoja is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Nationals.
Sanoja will head to the bench for the third time in five games while the Marlins continue to take a committee approach to the third-base position rather than leaning exclusively on one player. Following his recent return from the 7-day concussion injured list, Leo Jimenez will get a chance to cover the hot corner in the series opener in Washington.

Caleb Durbin BOS 3B
Red Sox's Caleb Durbin: Contributes to win
17h agoDurbin went 1-for-5 with a triple and two RBI in Sunday's 9-4 win over the Guaridans.
Durbin, who started just three times in a 10-game stretch from May 17 to May 27, has made an impact in four consecutive starts. He's knocked in runs in all four games while going 6-for-17 (.353) with three doubles, a triple and six RBI during that stretch. He used the recent downtime to work on hitting in the cage, per Jen McCaffrey of The Athletic. Durbin noted from his spray charts that he was cutting off half the field. "I think it's both a little bit of a mechanical adjustment as far as how I'm positioning my body to use the whole field and a little bit of approach, too," he said. His brutal season-opening slump is hard to forget with a small sample size of production, but Durbin may have turned a corner.

Nolan Arenado ARI 3B
Diamondbacks' Nolan Arenado: Returns to action

Rays' Taylor Walls: Being cautious with injury
6h agoWalls (hamstring) was removed from Monday's game against the Tigers in the third inning for precautionary reasons due to tightness in his left hamstring, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Tampa Bay removed Walls from the series opener Monday against Detroit for precautionary reasons regarding his left hamstring. The Rays are being cautious with Walls because he missed two games last week due to the same injury.

Taylor Walls TB SS
Rays' Taylor Walls: Pulled from Monday's game
7h agoWalls (undisclosed) was removed from Monday's game against the Tigers in the third inning, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Walls missed time last week due to a left hamstring injury, but it's unclear whether his removal from Monday's game is related to that same issue. Oliver Dunn will operate at shortstop in place of Walls for the rest of the contest. The Rays should provide an update on Walls during or shortly after the game.

Elly De La Cruz CIN SS
Reds' Elly De La Cruz: Likely to miss 2-to-4 weeks
11h agoReds manager Terry Francona said Monday that an MRI on De La Cruz's right hamstring showed between a Grade 1 and Grade 2 strain, Charlie Goldsmith of Fox 19 Now Cincinnati reports.
De La Cruz was placed on the 10-day injured list earlier Monday for the first time in his major-league career. He could get another MRI in a couple weeks to check the status of his progress, but early indications are that De La Cruz will likely be sidelined for 2-to-4 weeks. Matt McLain is drawing the start at shortstop for Cincinnati in Monday's game versus the Royals, and Edwin Arroyo is making his major-league debut at second base.
-
Edwin Arroyo CIN SS
Reds' Edwin Arroyo: Hitting eighth in MLB debut
12h agoArroyo will start at second base and bat eighth in his major-league debut Monday against the Royals.
Arroyo was called up earlier Monday to take the roster spot of the injured Elly De La Cruz (hamstring). It will be Matt McLain sliding over to shortstop Monday to cover for Cruz, while Arroyo will settle in at McLain's old second-base spot. Arroyo earned a promotion after hitting .323/.383/.562 with 11 home runs and nine stolen bases for Louisville.
-
Edwin Arroyo CIN SS
Reds' Edwin Arroyo: Moving up to majors
14h agoThe Reds recalled Arroyo from Triple-A Louisville on Monday.
With Elly De La Cruz (hamstring) landing on the 10-day injured list, the Reds will bring the 22-year-old Arroyo aboard for his first taste of the big leagues. The switch-hitting infielder had received reps at three different positions during his time at Triple-A, but he'll likely settle in as the Reds' everyday shortstop for the duration of De La Cruz's stint on the shelf. Even before De La Cruz injured his hamstring in Sunday's 6-4 win over Atlanta, Arroyo had already been building a strong case for a promotion by slashing .323/.383/.562 with 11 home runs and nine stolen bases across 248 plate appearances for Louisville. Arroyo is worthy of at least a cursory pickup in most fantasy leagues while a full-time role likely awaits him.

Riley Greene DET LF
Tigers' Riley Greene: Homers, drives in three in win
4h agoGreene went 3-for-4 with a walk, a double, a solo home run and three total RBI in Monday's 10-9 win over the Rays.
Greene was right in the middle of Detroit's offensive onslaught Monday, as he lifted one of the team's five home runs. The talented outfielder only has five long balls through 61 games, putting him well behind last year's pace, when he blasted a career-high 36 homers in 157 regular-season games. However, Greene has otherwise been excellent with a .309/.399/.450 slash line, and the batting average and on-base percentage would both be new career bests.

Rays' Chandler Simpson: Expected to play Tuesday
4h agoManager Kevin Cash said after Monday's 10-9 loss to the Tigers that Simpson (mouth) is expected to play Tuesday against Detroit, Ryan Bass of Rays.tv reports.

Kerry Carpenter DET RF
Tigers' Kerry Carpenter: Homers in three-hit game
4h agoCarpenter went 3-for-5 with a double, a solo home run and two total RBI in Monday's 10-9 win over the Rays.
Carpenter was one of four Detroit players to go deep in an offensive explosion Monday. The outfielder just returned from the injured list Sunday after missing about three weeks due to an AC joint sprain in his left shoulder, and the long ball was his first since April 24. Carpenter is still looking to hit his stride this year, and the injury certainly disrupted his momentum, but the 28-year-old is capable of heating up in a hurry.

Landen Roupp SF SP
Giants' Landen Roupp: Lit up in second inning
2h agoRoupp (5-6) took the loss Monday against the Brewers, allowing eight runs on eight hits and five walks in four innings. He struck out four.
The second inning was a disastrous one for Roupp, who was clobbered for seven of his season-worst eight earned runs on the evening. Only half of his 96 pitches landed for strikes Monday, and the 27-year-old right-hander also tied a season high in walks allowed. Roupp will be trying to put Monday's dud in the rear-view mirror his next time out against the Cubs in Chicago, where he'll take a 4.22 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 72:27 K:BB over 64 innings.

Rangers' Jacob deGrom: Tosses five scoreless frames in win
3h agoDeGrom (4-4) threw five scoreless innings, allowing four hits and issuing one walk while striking out eight batters to earn the win over St. Louis on Monday.
DeGrom dominated the Cardinals' lineup, racking up 17 whiffs and notching eight punchouts in just five innings. He didn't go deep enough for a quality start after having tossed 91 pitches, but this was nonetheless among his better outings this season. DeGrom had a bit of a rough patch in May during which he allowed 10 runs over nine frames across two starts, but he's bounced back by yielding just two runs across 11 innings over his subsequent two apperances. The veteran righty's numbers aren't quite at peak levels this season, but he's been both healthy and good, posting a 3.48 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and 78:13 over 64.2 frames.

David Sandlin CHW SP
White Sox's David Sandlin: Comes back to earth Monday
3h agoSandlin (1-1) allowed eight runs on eight hits and four walks while striking out four batters over four-plus innings in a loss to Minnesota on Monday.
Sandlin was otherworldly in his MLB debut against the Twins on May 27, giving up just one hit over six innings. Minnesota got the better of him in the rematch, however, pounding the right-hander for eight hits -- the biggest of which was a grand slam by Tristan Gray in the fifth inning. Sandlin also hurt himself by issuing four walks, with three of those runners coming around to score. While he pitched into the fifth inning, he didn't get any outs in his final frame, handing out two free passes around a single before his departure. Sandlin could get more starts while Noah Schultz (knee) remains on the IL, and if he sticks in the rotation, Sandlin is lined up for a tough matchup in Philadelphia his next time out.

Making only his second start of the year, Drohan threw a season-high 68 pitches Monday in an abbreviated outing. Additionally, the 27-year-old right-hander matched his season-high output in strikeouts. Drohan has an impressive 2.87 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 33:10 K:BB over 31.1 innings, but his streaming appeal could be limited during a matchup in Colorado against the Rockies for his next outing. Beyond that, the expectation is that Brandon Woodruff (shoulder) will take Drohan's place in Milwaukee's rotation once healthy.

Jacob Latz TEX RP
Rangers' Jacob Latz: Notches saves on back-to-back days
3h agoLatz picked up a save against the Cardinals on Monday, striking out two batters over one perfect inning.
Latz was summoned in the ninth inning to protect a one-run lead. He succeeded without any drama, striking out the final two batters he faced and retiring the side in order on 16 pitches. Latz began June the same way he ended May -- with a save -- and continues to have a firm grasp on the Rangers' closer role, logging eight saves over his past 11 trips to the mound.

Will Vest DET RP
Tigers' Will Vest: Allows run but secures first save
4h agoVest allowed a run on two hits across 1.2 innings of relief but managed to secure the save in Monday's 10-9 win over the Rays. He struck out two.
With Kyle Finnegan recording a blown save in four of his last nine appearances and Kenley Jansen (pelvis) on the injured list, the Tigers turned to Vest to close things out Monday. The veteran righty allowed at least one run for the third time in his last five games and now has an unsightly 7.23 ERA, but he still managed to shut the door for his first save of the year. Finnegan worked earlier in the contest, and both he and Vest could continue to get save opportunities for however long Jansen is out, making this a tricky bullpen for fantasy purposes.

Ty Madden DET RP
Tigers' Ty Madden: Lifted early in return
4h agoMadden took a no-decision Monday against the Rays, allowing two runs on three hits and two walks in 3.1 innings. He struck out four.
After missing about two weeks with a right forearm contusion, Madden got a very quick hook Monday in a subpar outing. The 26-year-old right-hander made his first start of the season following three relief appearances, and he threw only 48 pitches (28 strikes) before his evening came to a close. Madden, who has a 3.07 ERA, 0.95 WHIP and 16:4 K:BB over 14.2 innings, could be headed back to Detroit's bullpen when Justin Verlander (hip) is ready to rejoin the rotation.

5h agoThe Rangers released Sborz on Monday, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Weilnton Herrera COL RP
Rockies' Welinton Herrera: Moved to 60-day IL
7h agoThe Rockies transferred Herrera (elbow) to the 60-day injured list Monday.
Herrera landed on the 15-day IL on Saturday due to left elbow inflammation. The injury is severe enough for him to warrant a move to the 60-day injured list, meaning that the earliest he is eligible to be reinstated is in late July. The move also opened a spot on the Rockies' 40-man roster, which the team filled after selecting TJ Shook's contract from Triple-A Albuquerque.

Christian Yelich MIL DH
Brewers' Christian Yelich: Productive in easy win
2h agoYelich went 3-for-5 with two RBI, three runs scored and a walk in Monday's 16-2 win over the Giants.
Yelich was notably one of seven Brewers to tally multiple hits Monday and one of six Milwaukee batters to register multiple RBI. The three-hit performance was the veteran slugger's fourth of the campaign as well. Through 109 at-bats, Yelich is hitting .275 with 10 extra-base hits, 18 RBI, 21 runs scored and three stolen bases.

Andrew Benintendi CHW DH
White Sox's Andrew Benintendi: Belts homer in loss
3h agoBenintendi went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, an additional RBI and a walk Monday in a loss to Minnesota.
Benintendi plated Chicago's first run of the game with a single in the third inning and hit the second of back-to-back homers following Miguel Vargas' blast in the fifth. Benintendi has gone deep twice in his past three games after hitting just three homers across his first 51 contests of the campaign. The veteran outfielder has a career-best mark of 20 home runs, which he's achieved three times in his 11-year career, including in each of the past two campaigns.

Shohei Ohtani LAD DH
Dodgers' Shohei Ohtani: Hitting and pitching Wednesday
7h agoDodgers manager Dave Roberts told reporters Monday that Ohtani will serve as the designated hitter when he starts on the mound Wednesday against the Diamondbacks, Bob Nightengale of USA Today reports.
There have been some starts this season in which Ohtani has focused solely on pitching while taking a break from the batter's box, but that won't be the case Wednesday against Arizona. Ohtani has earned the win in each of his last three outings and came away with the quality start in this past Wednesday's appearance against the Rockies. At the dish, he has reached base safely in each of his last 16 games, going 24-for-61 (.393) with one steal, four home runs and 15 RBI in that span.

Masataka Yoshida BOS DH
Red Sox's Masataka Yoshida: Atones for miscue
18h agoYoshida went 2-for-5 with two RBI and a run scored in Sunday's 9-4 win over Cleveland.
Yoshida's two run-single during a six-run seventh inning gave Boston a lead it never relinquished. The go-ahead hit atoned for a fourth-inning miscue, when he lost sight of a fly ball in left field that led to the Guardians taking a lead. Yoshida is getting regular work with Roman Anthony's rehab from a finger injury taking longer than originally anticipated. The outfield/DH logjam that had limited Yoshida's playing time earlier in the season has cleared up for the time being.

Casey Schmitt SF DH
Giants' Casey Schmitt: Trio of hits in blowout win
1d agoSchmitt went 3-for-6 with two RBI, a run scored and a stolen base in Sunday's 19-6 victory over the Rockies.
Schmitt didn't show off any extra-base power but was still a positive contributor in the blowout win. In what has been a breakout season to date, the 27-year-old has now recorded three-plus hits in five contests and driven in multiple runs eight times in 2026. Overall, he's hitting .294/.332/.548 with 12 homers, 12 doubles, a triple, 33 RBI, 27 runs and five stolen bases across 51 games.

Bryce Eldridge SF DH
Giants' Bryce Eldridge: Goes yard in four-hit effort
1d agoEldridge went 4-for-6 with a solo homer, two doubles and three additional runs scored in Sunday's 19-6 win over the Rockies.
Eldridge got in on the offensive onslaught, tallying a career-high four hits and blasting a 453-foot solo homer in the sixth inning, his second long ball of the campaign. The 21-year-old entered Sunday's contest hitting .192 with a .622 OPS, but those marks now sit at .241 and .776 across 67 plate appearances after his big performance. With Casey Schmitt seeing more action in left field of late, Eldridge has found himself in the lineup more regularly, starting at designated hitter in six straight games.
