Lawrence secured the save Saturday against the Orioles, allowing no runs on one hit and one walk in a scoreless 10th inning.

Clayton Beeter kept Baltimore off the board with a scoreless ninth frame, and then Lawrence got the call for the 10th after Washington took the lead in the top of the inning. Lawrence, who was making his Nationals debut Saturday, has previous closing experience with the Rockies, though it's hard to envision him being trusted with consistent high-leverage work. Lawrence has a 7.76 ERA, 1.90 WHIP and 37:22 K:BB over 29 innings between the Pirates, Twins and the Nats this year.

Griffin took a no-decision Saturday against the Orioles, allowing one unearned run on three hits and two walks in seven innings. He struck out nine.

A throwing error by Nasim Nunez in the second inning kept an earned run off Griffin's ledger Saturday. After being out of the major leagues since 2023, Griffin has been a revelation for the Nationals in 2026. The 30-year-old southpaw has given up fewer than two runs in five straight starts, and he's now recorded nine strikeouts in back-to-back outings. Griffin will take an impressive 2.93 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 98:25 K:BB over 98.1 innings into his next scheduled appearance against Pittsburgh.

Rolison will work as the Cubs' opening pitcher Sunday versus Milwaukee, Bruce Levine of 670TheScore.com reports.

Rolison has one opening appearance so far this season, retiring all four batters he faced against the Giants on June 13. He's tossed fewer than two frames in each of his 10 outings so far in June, so the left-hander presumably won't work deep into Sunday's matchup. The Cubs haven't designated a bulk reliever to enter the game behind Rolison, though Bryse Wilson had recently been serving as a starter at Triple-A Lehigh Valley in the Phillies organization before the Cubs scooped him up off waivers Wednesday.

Ramos (quadriceps) is expected to be activated from the 10-day IL on Sunday, and he's likely to see more playing time in right field, Justice delos Santos of The Mercury News reports.

Ramos last saw action for San Francisco on May 15 before being placed on the IL due to a right quad strain the following day. The 26-year-old kicked off a rehab assignment June 17 and has gone 9-for-26 with one home run, three doubles and two RBI over seven games. Since Ramos has been sidelined, Bryce Eldridge has thrived as the Giants' designated hitter while Casey Schmitt has played well while starting in left field. With that in mind, Schmitt is set to retain his role in that position, which will likely push Ramos to right field and move Jung Hoo Lee from right to center. That setup should remain consistent until Harrison Bader (foot), who doesn't have a clear timetable for a return, per delos Santos, is able to get back on the field.

Rangel (0-1) took the loss against the Mets on Saturday, allowing four runs on four hits and two walks with four strikeouts over four innings.

Rangel pitched well early but unraveled in a four-run sixth inning he was unable to escape. Through three outings with the Phillies this season, the 28-year-old owns a 4.50 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 13:2 K:BB across 12 innings. He gave up just one run in each of his first two appearances. Should he remain in the club's rotation plans, he'd line up for a home matchup against the Pirates next week.

Scott did not factor into the decision in Saturday's 6-2 win over the Phillies, allowing two runs on three hits and two walks with six strikeouts over 4.1 innings.

Scott took the mound for the first time since June 11 and generated a whopping 17 whiffs on 82 pitches, with a two-run homer by Bryce Harper serving as his only blemish. The 27-year-old righty handled a typical workload Saturday, as he's pitched beyond the fifth inning just twice in 10 outings this season. He'll carry a 3.20 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 53:21 K:BB across 45 innings into a road matchup with Atlanta next weekend.

Lindor went 1-for-3 with a triple, a walk, two RBI and one run scored in Saturday's 6-2 win over the Phillies.

Lindor tied things up with a two-run triple before scoring what proved to be the game-winning run in the sixth inning. In three games since returning from the injured list Wednesday, the 32-year-old has gone 2-for-12 and has yet to strike out. On the season, he's slashing .219/.305/.352 with seven extra-base hits, seven RBI, 15 runs scored and two steals across just 118 plate appearances.

Harper went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Mets.

Harper provided the Phillies' only offense with a two-run blast in the third inning. The veteran slugger has hit safely in seven of his past eight games, including six multi-hit efforts, four homers, 10 RBI and seven runs scored in that span. On the year, he's slashing .278/.379/.536 with 19 long balls, 50 RBI, 55 runs scored and five steals across 346 plate appearances.

Stewart went 2-for-5 with a home run and two RBI in Saturday's 9-7 win over the Pirates.

Stewart opened the scoring with a solo shot in the first inning before adding an RBI single in the third. Despite hitting just .227 with 20 hits in 88 June at-bats, the 22-year-old has still been productive with 20 RBI this month. For the year, he's slashing .252/.341/.454 with 15 homers, 57 RBI, 43 runs scored and 11 steals across 352 plate appearances.

Perez will serve as the Mets' opening pitcher for Sunday's contest against Philadelphia, Max Goodman of NJ.com reports.

Perez began the campaign with Washington before joining the Mets on a minor-league deal in early May. The lefty hurler was brought up to the big-league club May 30 and has appeared in 10 contests, posting a 3.68 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and 14:1 K:BB over 14.2 innings. Perez hasn't tossed more than 32 pitches in an outing this season, so the Mets are unlikely to have him cover more than an inning or two before he turns the game over to the bullpen. Both Tobias Myers and Kodai Senga are available on four days' rest and could be candidates to cover multiple innings in relief.
