Williams is starting Sunday's game against Arizona, Bobby Blanco of MASNSports.com reports.

The right-hander originally lined up to pitch during the upcoming series versus the Dodgers, but he'll instead take the mound Sunday against the Diamondbacks after Michael Soroka (biceps) was placed on the injured list Friday. Williams allowed three runs on 10 hits with three strikeouts and no walks over five frames in his first start of the season Tuesday in Toronto.

Alcantara won't start Monday against the Mets, as he's set to be placed on the paternity list, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

The right-hander appeared set to take the hill Monday in Queens after his scheduled start Sunday at Atlanta was postponed due to inclement weather, but he'll instead step away from the team for a few days to be with his growing family. Alcantara should be back with the Marlins to pitch Friday versus the Nationals at home.

The Rockies optioned Blalock to Triple-A Albuquerque on Sunday.

With Austin Gomber (shoulder) on the shelf to begin the season, Blalock headed into Opening Day as the Rockies' presumptive No. 5 starter. However, a few off days early on in the team's schedule allowed the Rockies to get by with a four-man rotation, and Blalock ended up making a pair of relief appearances over the team's first eight games. The Rockies will break in a fifth member of the rotation for Sunday's game against the Athletics, but it won't be Blalock who gets the nod. Instead, he'll head to Triple-A to clear room on the active roster for prized pitching prospect Chase Dollander, whose contract was selected from Albuquerque. Blalock will get stretched back out as a starter at Albuquerque after covering two innings Saturday in his most recent relief appearance.

The Rockies selected Dollander's contract from Triple-A Albuquerque ahead of his scheduled start Sunday versus the Athletics in Colorado.

Colorado optioned reliever Bradley Blalock to Triple-A to clear room on the 26-man active roster for Dollander, the organization's top pitching prospect. The 23-year-old righty was fast-tracked to the majors, as he made just 10 starts above the High-A level after getting selected in the first round of the 2023 First-Year Player Draft. He's been dominant at every stop in the minors and breezed through his Triple-A debut March 30 versus Sacramento, striking out five while allowing one earned run on six hits and two walks. Though Dollander remains an interesting long-term piece for Colorado, expectations for this season should be tempered while he adapts to the big leagues and makes roughly half of his starts at hitter-friendly Coors Field. Dollander is also hindered by pitching in the tough National League West, whose other four teams sport records above .500 heading into play Sunday.

Sosa will start at third base and bat seventh in Sunday's game against the Dodgers.

Sosa picked up starts in four of the Phillies' first five games of the season, but he shifted back into a utility role after Trea Turner overcame a back issue. Alec Bohm will get a breather Sunday, opening the door for Sosa to re-enter the starting nine after being out of the lineup for the previous three contests.

Bohm is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Dodgers.

Bohm will receive his first day off this season after batting .200 with one extra-base hit (a double) in 36 plate appearances. Edmundo Sosa will fill in for Bohm at the hot corner.

Realmuto is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Dodgers.

He'll receive a breather as the Phillies close out their series with the Dodgers with a day game after a night game. Rafael Marchan will check in behind the dish. Realmuto has gone 5-for-16 with two runs, two stolen base and one RBI while starting each of the previous five games.

Holmes won't start as scheduled Sunday versus the Marlins after the game was postponed due to inclement weather.

Holmes was scheduled to close out the series for Atlanta, but a rainout thwarted those plans. The right-hander has given up four earned runs with a 5:4 K:BB across five innings this season. According to Scott Lauber of The Philadelphia Inquirer, Holmes will be pushed back three days in the schedule and will make his next start Wednesday against the Phillies in Atlanta.

Young is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks.

Young is on the bench for the second day in a row, but the Nationals aren't yet ready to pull the plug on him as an everyday player while he's struggled to a .067/.263/.133 batting line through his first 20 plate appearances of the season. According to Spencer Nusbaum of The Washington Post, manager Dave Martinez said that Young has been held out of the lineup the past two days in an effort to clean up his hitting mechanics. The Nationals wanted to have Young address the issue before it turned into a season-long concern, and Martinez noted that the 25-year-old is set to return to the lineup Monday versus the Dodgers.
