Carroll went 2-for-5 with a home run, a double and five RBI in Tuesday's win over the Marlins.

Carroll opened the game's scoring with an RBI double during Arizona's four-run second inning. He capped off the team's 10-run outburst with a grand slam in the sixth inning. It was his sixth long ball of the year, all of which have come since April 1. Last season, Carroll did not hit his sixth home run until his 96th game. His 2025 slash line is up to .338/.423/.735 with 14 extra-base hits and 15 RBI through 17 contests.

Alonso went 2-for-4 with a solo home run Tuesday against the Twins.

Alonso took Twins right-hander Bailey Ober yard to give the Mets a 1-0 lead in the first inning. The star first baseman has thrived in the early going while batting behind Francisco Lindor and Juan Soto. Through his first 73 plate appearances of the campaign, Alonso is slashing a robust .356/.466/.729 with five homers, seven doubles, 20 RBI and 11 runs scored.

Kelly (3-1) allowed a run on three hits and a walk over six innings Tuesday, striking out nine and earning a win over the Marlins.

Kelly cruised to an easy win while his offense posted a double-digit scoring performance. The lone run against him was an RBI groundout from Liam Hicks in the second inning. Kelly forced a season-high 13 whiffs after generating just 19 total in his first three starts. He still owns an unsightly 5.57 ERA, but that was mostly due to his nine-run blow-up start against the Yankees on April 3. Kelly is currently projected for a road matchup against the Cubs this weekend.

Gillispie (0-2) allowed eight runs on eight hits and two walks over five-plus innings Tuesday, striking out six and taking a loss against Arizona.

Gillispie coughed up four runs in the second inning, one in the third, and was charged with three more in the sixth despite not recording an out in the frame. He entered Tuesday's outing with a 3.86 ERA over 14 frames, but it shot up to 6.63 after the ugly performance. Gillispie has not recorded more than 15 outs in any of his four starts this season. Still looking for his first career win, he's in line to start in Philadelphia this weekend.

Hays went 2-for-4 with a home run and four RBI in Tuesday's win against Seattle.

Hays was activated from the injured list after recovering from a calf injury and made an immediate impact in his Reds debut. He knocked an RBI single in the third inning before ripping a three-run shot in the fifth. Hays posted a .699 OPS in 255 regular-season plate appearances with the Phillies and Orioles during the 2024 campaign. As things stand, he appears to have a good share of playing time in left field for the Reds.

Lux went 4-for-4 with a run scored and two RBI in Tuesday's win over Seattle.

Lux knocked four singles in the 8-4 victory, including RBI base knocks in the third and fifth innings. It was his third multi-hit performance of the season and first with more than two hits. Lux's OPS jumped from .616 to .710 through 17 games.

Lodolo did not factor in the decision during Tuesday's win against Seattle. He allowed four runs on five hits and a walk over 4.2 innings while striking out six.

Lodolo may have nightmares about Dylan Moore after Tuesday's outing; Moore went deep in the first and fifth innings and added an RBI single in the second. Lodolo needed 90 pitches (60 strikes) and failed to record a quality start for the first time this season. Despite the hiccup, he owns a 2.31 ERA with a 14:2 K:BB through 23.1 innings. Lodolo is currently in line to start in Baltimore this weekend.

Megill (2-2) took the loss Tuesday against the Twins after giving up four runs (two earned) on eight hits and no walks in five innings. He struck out three.

While Megill started his outing with two scoreless innings, the following three frames were a bit more troublesome. Two of Megill's runs went unearned due to Francisco Lindor's fielding error in the third inning, and the right-hander gave up two runs across his final two frames before his night ended. Just one of the eight hits Megill allowed went for extra bases, though. Despite submitting a 1.34 WHIP over 19.1 innings (four starts), Megill has limited the damage by turning in a 1.40 ERA and 20:7 K:BB ahead of his next scheduled start against the Cardinals at home this weekend.

The Mets will recall Hagenman from Triple-A Syracuse on Wednesday, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

It's unclear if Hagenman will start Wednesday against the Twins or if the Mets will opt to use an opener, but the 28-year-old righty will be making his MLB debut whenever he gets into the game. He hasn't been very impressive in the minors, however, as he's allowed 11 runs (eight earned) across 10.1 innings.

Irvin (1-0) yielded three hits and a walk over seven scoreless innings Tuesday, striking out six and picking up a win over Pittsburgh.

Irvin allowed only one runner to reach scoring position in the dominant outing. He threw 58 of 87 pitches for strikes and forced 10 whiffs. It was both his longest outing and his first quality start of 2025. Irvin dropped his season ERA to 3.91 with an 18:7 K:BB through 23 frames. His next start is projected to be in Colorado this weekend.
