Brandon Crawford SS | STL
Giants' Brandon Crawford: Plates three in win
Crawford went 2-for-5 with a three-RBI double in Tuesday's 8-0 win over Arizona.
San Francisco quickly loaded the bases in the first inning, and Crawford's two-out, three-run double cleared them. The shortstop has only been held without a hit four times in 18 games in May. For the season, the 34-year-old is slashing .261/338/.545 with 11 home runs, 32 RBI, 26 runs scored and three stolen bases in 146 plate appearances.

Nick Ahmed SS | TEX
Diamondbacks' Nick Ahmed: On base thrice in loss
Ahmed went 2-for-3 with two doubles and a walk in Thursday's 8-0 loss to the Giants.
Ahmed did his part on the evening, reaching base in each of his first three plate appearances, but the rest of Arizona's offense didn't show up. The veteran has a reputation as a defense-first shortstop, but he may need to perform better than his current .198/.298/.294 slash line to keep his role on a Diamondbacks team looking toward the future.

Javier Baez SS | DET
Cubs' Javier Baez: Two hits in Tuesday win
Baez went 2-for-3 with a walk, a double and a run scored in Tuesday's win over the Pirates.
Joc Pederson provided most of the offense with two home runs and three RBI, but Baez delivered a solid complementary performance. The 28-year-old is batting .295 this month and has seemingly put his early-season struggles behind him.

Paul DeJong SS | DET
Cardinals' Paul DeJong: Making some progress
DeJong (ribs) is with the Cardinals in Chicago and did some light running prior to Monday's game, the Associated Press reports.
Although it's a small step in the recovery process, it's still encouraging to see DeJong performing some sort of physical activity. It's believed the ailing shortstop will be able to resume some form of hitting later this week, which would represent an even more significant milestone, considering the nature of his injury.

Javier Baez SS | DET
Cubs' Javier Baez: Extra-inning homer
Baez went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run and two strikeouts as Chicago beat St. Louis 2-1 on Sunday.
Baez was experiencing a quiet evening until he took Alex Reyes 417 feet deep to center to account for the game's first two runs in the 10th inning. The homer was Baez's 11th on the season, though he's hitting only .255.

Trevor Story SS | BOS
Rockies' Trevor Story: Cranks walkoff blast
Story went 2-for-5 with a home run and two RBI in Sunday's 4-3 win over Arizona.
Story got the Rockies on the board with an RBI single in the second inning but saved his theatrics for the end of the contest. He unloaded a 438-foot shot to dead center in the bottom of the ninth to walk it off against Stefan Crichton, giving him five homers this season. The 28-year-old shortstop has extra-base hits in three straight games and currently owns a .770 OPS.

Dansby Swanson SS | CHC
Braves' Dansby Swanson: Goes yard again
Swanson went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 7-1 win over Pittsburgh.
The shortstop provided some insurance with his sixth-inning blast off Pittsburgh starter JT Brubaker. The hot-hitting Swanson has gone 10-for-19 (.526) with three homers, four doubles, four RBI and six runs scored in his last five games. The 27-year-old's season slash line is up to .237/.295/.445 with eight homers, 19 RBI, 20 runs scored and two stolen bases in 47 contests overall.

C.J. Abrams SS | WAS
Padres' CJ Abrams: Exits minor-league game with injury
Abrams was removed from Saturday's Double-A contest after pulling up lame at first base, Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
Abrams came up limping after being thrown out at first base on a groundout in the fifth inning. He was subsequently removed from the game and is not in the lineup for San Antonio's Sunday contest. The nature of Abrams' issue has yet to be announced, and it is unclear whether he'll be out beyond Sunday. The Padres are likely to proceed with caution given the 20-year-old's vaunted prospect status.

Nick Ahmed SS | TEX
Diamondbacks' Nick Ahmed: On bench Sunday
Ahmed is not in the lineup Sunday against the Rockies.
Ahmed started the first two games of the series but will take a seat for Sunday's contest. Josh Rojas will operate at shortstop while Josh Reddick starts in right field.

Pablo Reyes RF | SD
Brewers' Pablo Reyes: Optioned to Triple-A
The Brewers optioned Reyes to Triple-A Nashville on Saturday, Will Sammon of The Athletic reports.
Reyes posted a decent average after being called up April 26, hitting .270 in 37 at-bats. It was a completely empty average, however, as he failed to walk once and drove in just one run. That being said, Reyes' defensive versatility may earn him another stint on the big-league roster at some point in the future, if injuries create such an opening.
