Winn went 1-for-6 with a stolen base and two runs scored in Friday's 7-6 extra-innings win over the Nationals.

Winn hadn't recorded a steal since June 4, though he has nine thefts on 12 attempts this season. The shortstop is hitting .279 (17-for-61) over his last 14 games, a slight dip from his .291 batting average overall. He's added a .756 OPS, four home runs, 29 RBI, 35 runs scored, 18 doubles and three triples over 79 contests.

Brujan went 1-for-4 with a double, a run scored and a stolen base in Friday's loss to the White Sox.

The 26-year-old infielder has started four straight games at second base due to Otto Lopez (back) being on the injured list, but Friday's two-bagger was Brujan's first hit in 15 at-bats during that stretch. He did display some speed earlier in his career, swiping 55 bags between Single-A and High-A in 2018 while still in the Rays system, but Brujan doesn't get on base often enough to show whether he still has that in his arsenal. Through 174 plate appearances this season, he's slashing just .222/.293/.323 with a homer, eight RBI, 20 runs and three steals in six attempts.

De La Cruz went 1-for-2 with two walks, a run scored and a stolen base in Friday's 5-4 loss to the Tigers.

It marked the first time since June 16 that the 22-year-old drew multiple free passes, while the stolen base was his league-leading 43rd of the year -- 15 ahead of second-place Brice Turang. De La Cruz can be streaky, but he's red hot right now, slashing .352/.417/.704 over his last 13 games with 10 extra-base hits (four doubles, three triples and three homers), six steals, eight RBI and 13 runs.

Newman replaced Ketel Marte (back) at second base after Marte was removed in the eighth inning from Friday's 10-8 loss to San Diego.

Newman entered as a pinch hitter earlier and stayed in the game at DH before taking over for Marte, who has been nursing a sore back. Marte told manager Torey Lovullo that he was unable to hit, per Steve Gilbert of MLB.com. Marte is day-to-day, which means Newman will be at the ready to take over at second base for as long as needed.

Adames went 1-for-4 with one RBI, a stolen base and one run scored in Friday's 8-5 loss to the Dodgers.

Adames is up to 11 steals on the year, but he hadn't attempted one in his previous 21 games. In that span, he hit just .192 with three home runs, 11 RBI and 11 runs scored. The shortstop has endured another challenging campaign with a .234/.321/.402 slash line, 13 homers, 57 RBI and 46 runs scored over 89 contests, but his lackluster hitting hasn't cost him a starting role.

Turner went 2-for-5 with two home runs and four RBI in Friday's win over Atlanta.

Turner belted a two-run shot in the fourth inning followed by another in the sixth. He's gone deep five times in 16 games since returning from the injured list, with four of those coming in his last four games. Turner has knocked multiple hits in eight of those 16 games, good for a .338 average. On the year, he's slashing .341/.386/.510 with 21 extra-base hits and 22 RBI through 49 contests.

Arcia (tooth) will start at shortstop and bat eighth in Friday's game versus the Phillies.

Arcia missed three games after having an abscessed tooth extracted, but he's feeling well enough to give it a go in the series opener versus a division rival. The 29-year-old sports a disappointing .582 OPS this season for Atlanta.

Mastrobuoni will start at third base and bat eighth in Friday's game against the Angels.

Christopher Morel is getting a second straight day in the designated hitter spot, so Mastrobuoni will be tasked with handling the hot corner. It's his first start since he was recalled from Triple-A Iowa back on June 18.

Arcia is still not eating solid food after having an abscessed tooth pulled, and Atlanta might wind up placing him on the injured list, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

The shortstop is fighting an infection he developed before the tooth was extracted. "All he's getting in him right now, is kind of the [protein] shakes and soup and things like that," manager Brian Snitker said Thursday. "So we were hoping we could maybe get him over here today and move around a little bit. We'll get him out here [Friday]." Arcia hasn't played since June 30 and slashed just .155/.217/.238 through 92 plate appearances last month. While Atlanta remains optimistic he could return to the lineup in short order, per MLB.com his availability for this weekend's series against the Phillies is in doubt.

Rojas isn't in the Dodgers' lineup for Thursday's game against Arizona.

After going 1-for-7 through the first two games of the series, Rojas will ride the pine for the series finale Thursday. His absence will allow Enrique Hernandez to start at shortstop, batting eighth.
