Chourio went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a second run scored in Saturday's 5-4 loss to the Diamondbacks.

Chourio extended Milwaukee's lead to 3-0 in the sixth inning with a 448-foot blast off Corbin Burnes, his fifth home run this season. Since going 0-for-5 with five strikeouts on Opening Day, Chourio has proceeded to hit safely in his subsequent 14 games. He's now slashing .313/.309/.657 through 68 plate appearances with 17 RBI, 14 runs scored and a stolen base.

Patrick didn't factor into the decision Saturday against the Diamondbacks, allowing five hits and two walks over 4.1 scoreless innings. He struck out three.

Patrick managed to keep Arizona off the board despite dealing with baserunners in every inning. However, he'd be forced out of the game with just one out in the fifth after throwing 77 pitches. Overall, Patrick has gotten off to a strong start with the Brewers, posting a 1.76 ERA with a 1.37 WHIP and 13:9 K:BB through his first 15.1 innings. Patrick figures to remain in the rotation for at least one more turn with numerous Milwaukee starters dealing with injuries. He tentatively lines up for a home matchup with the A's in his next outing.

Burnes did not factor into the decision in Saturday's 5-4 win over the Brewers, allowing three runs on four hits and two walks over six innings. He struck out three.

After allowing a pair of runs in the second inning, Burnes held Milwaukee off the board until Jackson Chourio homered in the sixth. It was a step in the right direction for Burnes, who's gotten off to a shaky start with the Diamondbacks. He now has a 5.28 ERA with a 1.57 WHIP and 14:9 K:BB through his first 15.1 innings this season. Burnes currently lines up for a road matchup with the Cubs in his next outing.

Megill recently underwent an MRI on his knee, but it came back clean, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

Megill pitched in Saturday's 5-4 loss to the Diamondbacks but allowed two hits, three walks and three earned runs while recording just one out in the bottom of the ninth inning before taking the loss. He hadn't been scored upon in his first five outings of the season prior to Saturday's disaster. For now, Megill has been cleared to pitch, but it's something worth monitoring in the near future.

Megill (0-1) took the loss and a blown save in Saturday's 5-4 defeat against the Diamondbacks. He allowed three runs on two hits and three walks in one-third of an inning.

Megill only managed to record one out, which came on Lourdes Gurriel's game-winning sacrifice fly, after allowing five consecutive batters to reach safely. Megill hadn't allowed a run in 4.1 innings prior to Saturday, giving up just two hits and one walk while striking out eight in that span. Despite the rough outing, the 31-year-old Megill figures to remain the primary ninth-inning option for the Brewers.

The Rockies are set to recall Amador from Triple-A Albuquerque ahead of Sunday's game against the Padres, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.

The Rockies have already promoted top prospects Chase Dollander and Zac Veen in the early going this season and are once again dipping into their prospect pool as the team searches for offense. Through 49 plate appearances at Triple-A, Amador is slashing .275/.408/.450 with two home runs, four RBI, nine runs and three stolen bases. Amador figures to slot in at second base for the Rockies once his promotion becomes official. Amador saw action in 10 regular-season games for the Rockies last season but hit just .171 across 36 plate appearances.

Suzuki was removed from Saturday's game against the Dodgers due to right wrist pain, Taylor McGregor of Marquee Sports Network reports.

Miguel Amaya pinch hit for Suzuki in the top of the fifth inning. Suzuki initially dealt with wrist discomfort earlier this month when the Cubs were in Sacramento facing the Athletics. Before leaving Saturday, Suzuki was 0-for-2 at the plate. He entered the day slashing .302/.400/.556 with four home runs, 15 RBI, 11 runs scored, one stolen base, 11 walks and a league-high 23 strikeouts.

Hicks (1-1) took the loss Saturday as the Giants fell 8-4 to the Yankees, coughing up seven runs on eight hits and three walks over four-plus innings. He struck out three.

After a strong start to the season, Hicks crashed back to earth in the Bronx as the Yankees scored twice in the first inning before chasing the right-hander from the game as part of a five-run fifth. Hicks got the hook after 94 pitches (55 strikes), but he did at least manage to keep the ball in the park. He'll take a 5.87 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 14:6 K:BB through 15.1 innings into his next outing, which lines up to be another tough road matchup next week in Philadelphia.

Mikolas (0-2) took the loss Saturday, giving up three runs on three hits and two walks over five innings as the Cardinals were downed 4-1 by the Phillies. He struck out five.

It was a respectable bounce-back effort from Mikolas after he got tagged for nine runs (eight earned) in only 2.2 frames by the Red Sox in his last trip to the mound, but a lack of run support kept the veteran right-hander out of the win column. Mikolas will take a 9.00 ERA, 1.62 WHIP and 10:5 K:BB through 13 innings into his next start, which is scheduled to come on the road next weekend against the Mets.

Castellanos went 3-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Cardinals.

His first-inning two-bagger brought home Bryce Harper and Kyle Schwarber, giving the Phillies all the offense they would need on the afternoon, but Castellanos added another double in the eighth for good measure. It was the second three-hit performance in the last five games for the veteran outfielder, pushing his slash line to .308/.357/.519 through 14 games with two homers and nine RBI.
