Barnes went 3-for-5 with a run in a 12-7 win against Miami on Wednesday.

Barnes got the start at catcher for the resting Will Smith and finished as one of six Dodgers with multiple hits in the offensive onslaught. Barnes has gotten just 33 plate appearances this season as Smith has dominated work behind the plate, so the former's three-hit effort perked his season batting average up from .185 to .250. It would likely take Smith missing time for Barnes to have any fantasy value in all but the deepest of formats.

The Mets transferred Minter (lat) from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Thursday.

Minter was initially placed on the IL on Sunday after being diagnosed with a left lat strain. The southpaw is still weighing whether to undergo season-ending surgery, but even if he elects to treat the injury through rest and rehab, he won't be on track to return to game action until September in a best-case scenario, per Anthony DiComo of MLB.com. Before getting hurt, Minter had been performing well as the top setup man in front of closer Edwin Diaz, logging a 1.64 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 14:5 K:BB in 11 innings while collecting seven holds over his 13 appearances.

The Reds recalled Zulueta from Triple-A Louisville on Thursday.

Zulueta will give manager Terry Francona a fresh bullpen arm following Wednesday's doubleheader with the Cardinals. The right-hander has yielded six runs with a 10:5 K:BB across 9.1 frames this season with Louisville this season.

The Reds optioned Richardson to Triple-A Louisville on Thursday.

Richardson was needed for three innings in the second game of Wednesday's doubleheader versus the Cardinals, so he's being sent out in favor of a fresh bullpen arm. Yosver Zulueta was called up from Triple-A to take over Richardson's spot in the bullpen and on the 26-man active roster.

The Mets transferred Montas (lat) from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Thursday.

The transaction won't affect Montas' timeline for a return, as the 32-year-old isn't expected to be ready to make his Mets debut until at least June while he recovers from the high-grade right lat strain that he sustained early in spring training. Per MLB.com, Montas has been throwing off flat ground since early April and should soon be ready for mound work, but he'll require an extended period of time to build up his pitch count and will need to make multiple rehab starts in the minors before being activated from the IL.

Stanek (0-3) blew the save and took the loss Wednesday against the Diamondbacks, giving up two runs on three hits in two-thirds of an inning.

Entering the game with one out in the seventh inning to protect a 1-0 lead, Stanek gave up three straight hits to put Arizona ahead for good. The right-hander has fallen apart at the end of April, giving up at least one run in four of his last five appearances and taking both the loss and a blown save in three straight trips to the mound. The collapse has left Stanek with a 5.06 ERA, 1.69 WHIP and 10:6 K:BB through 10.2 innings on the season, and even with A.J. Minter (lat) on the shelf, the former may be removed from high-leverage duties until he turns things around.

Vientos went 1-for-4 with a walk and a solo home run in Wednesday's loss to the Diamondbacks.

The third baseman took Corbin Burnes deep in the third inning. Vientos caught fire in the second half of April -- all four of his homers on the season have come in his last 11 games, a stretch in which he's slashing .310/.362/.667 with nine runs and 11 RBI.

Fraley is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Cardinals.

The left-handed-hitting Fraley will retreat to the bench for the series finale while the Cardinals send southpaw Matthew Liberatore to the hill. Blake Dunn will step in for Fraley in right field and will bat ninth.

Hays (hamstring) is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Cardinals.

Hays will be on the bench for a fourth straight game due to a sore left hamstring, which he tweaked while running the bases Monday. He underwent an MRI on Tuesday that apparently revealed nothing too concerning, and Charlie Goldsmith of the Dayton Daily News relayed that Hays was testing his hamstring during an on-field workout prior to Thursday's contest. The Reds will presumably look to stay away from using Hays on Thursday, but the 29-year-old could return to the lineup during this weekend's series with the Nationals.

Yastrzemski went 2-for-4 with a solo home run during Wednesday's 5-3 loss to the Padres.

Yastrzemski launched a 385-foot solo shot to right field, cutting the Giants' deficit to 5-3 in the eighth inning. It was the veteran outfielder's fifth homer of the season, tying him for second place on the team. Yastrzemski has logged three multi-hit games in his last six, slashing .292/.320/.542 with three runs scored, three RBI and two home runs across 25 plate appearance in that span.
