Wilson is scheduled to start Tuesday's game against the Brewers at Rate Field.

Following Martin Perez's (shoulder) placement on the injured list April 19, Wilson moved from the bullpen to fill the vacant spot in the rotation. He made his first start of the season last Wednesday, covering 2.2 innings (55 pitches) and allowing one earned run on five hits and three walks in a no-decision against the Twins. Wilson should be able to push up his pitch count a bit in his second start, and a strong showing against the Brewers would help his case for earning a more permanent stay in the rotation.

Pederson went 2-for-4 with a triple and a run scored in Sunday's 3-2 loss the Giants.

Pederson's bat has shown recent life. He's gone 4-for-11 over his last five games and inched his average to .101 through 78 plate appearances. Pederson is not the only member of the team that's struggled to produce; the Rangers rank dead last in MLB with 86 runs over 28 games.

Smith started at shortstop Sunday then moved to third base when Josh Jung left with a finger injury.

Smith had been filling in for an injured Corey Seager (hamstring) before covering third base. Jung believes he'll be able to play Monday, per Henry Schulman of MLB.com. If Jung is unavailable, then Smith could move to third base while Nick Ahmed starts at shortstop.

Clase was optioned back to Triple-A Buffalo following Sunday's doubleheader with the Yankees, Keegan Matheson of MLB.com reports.

Clase was called up to serve as the team's 27th man versus New York, going 0-for-4 with a strikeout while starting in left field for the team's 11-2 loss in Game 1. The 23-year-old will now wait for his next chance to join the major-league roster at some point later this season.

Bubic (2-2) took the loss against the Astros on Sunday, allowing four runs on five hits and three walks with four strikeouts over five innings.

Bubic surrendered a three-run home run to Yordan Alvarez in the third inning and was pulled at 93 pitches after allowing another run in the fifth. It was the first time in six starts this season that the southpaw yielded more than three earned runs. He still owns a 2.25 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 37:12 K:BB across 36 innings and lines up for a road matchup with the Orioles next weekend.

Volpe went 4-for-7 with two runs scored, one home run and two RBI across both games of Sunday's doubleheader split against Toronto.

Both of Volpe's RBI came in Game 1 -- on a bases-loaded walk in the third inning and a solo homer to right field in the fifth. He recorded his fourth and fifth multi-hit games of the season Sunday and has started the year slashing .228/.325/.446 with three stolen bases, 15 runs scored, five home runs and 17 RBI in 117 plate appearances.

Solano went 1-for-4 with a double in Sunday's win over Miami.

Solano, who stepped in at first base for the injured Rowdy Tellez (hand), recorded his first extra-base hit of the campaign Sunday. After batting a strong .286 over 283 regular-season at-bats last year with the Padres, Solano hasn't been able to carve out a steady role for his new team in 2025. The journeyman infielder should handle the bulk of the reps at the cold corner until Tellez is ready to rejoin Seattle's lineup, but Solano is hitting a dreadful .114 (5-for-44) with one RBI and one run scored across 18 outings so far.

Brown (4-1) earned the win against the Royals on Sunday, allowing one run on seven hits and one walk with nine strikeouts over six innings.

Brown's 28-inning scoreless streak came to an end in the fifth inning, but he still cruised to his sixth straight quality start to open the season. The 26-year-old threw 66 of 100 pitches for strikes, generating 12 whiffs and matching a season-high nine punchouts. He'll take a stellar 1.22 ERA, 0.84 WHIP and 40:7 K:BB across 37 innings into a favorable matchup with the White Sox next weekend.

De Los Santos was optioned to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre following Sunday's doubleheader with the Blue Jays.

De Los Santos was called up Sunday to operate as the team's 27th man versus Toronto, tossing two scoreless innings and allowing three hits while striking out one batter in the team's 11-2 Game 1 win. The appearance out of the bullpen was his first in the big leagues since 2023 with the Pirates, and he'll now wait for his next chance to join the Yankees down the road this season.

Mateo went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases in Sunday's loss to Detroit.

Sunday marked the first multi-hit game of the season by Mateo, who also swiped a pair of bags for the second time in 15 appearances so far. The speedy 29-year-old is still batting just .136 with a lone extra-base hit and one run scored over 22 at-bats, but he does have five steals while seeing sporadic playing time.
