Story isn't in the lineup Thursday against the Rangers, Bill Koch of The Providence Journal reports.

Story has been productive at the plate since returning from the injured list last weekend, having gone 7-for-15 with a double, two runs, two stolen bases, a walk and four strikeouts over four games. However, he'll get a day off Thursday while Christian Arroyo starts at the keystone and bats sixth.

Mateo isn't in the lineup Thursday against the Guardians, Zachary Silver of MLB.com reports.

Mateo is getting a breather after he hit just .087 with a double, a walk and eight strikeouts over the last eight games. Gunnar Henderson is taking over at shortstop and batting fifth.

Arcia (hamstring) was activated from the 10-day injured list Thursday.

The 28-year-old has been sidelined by the hamstring strain since Aug. 9 but has been cleared to rejoin Atlanta after a four-game rehab assignment. Arcia should fill a utility role with Vaughn Grissom now operating as the primary second baseman.

Abrams is not in the lineup for Thursday's game against the A's.

Abrams has started all 14 games since being called up by Washington on Aug. 15, but he'll take a seat Thursday after posting a .160/.208/.180 slash line in 50 at-bats. Ildemaro Vargas will shift to shortstop while Cesar Hernandez starts at the hot corner.

Crawford (pectoral) will start at shortstop and bat sixth in Thursday's game against the Tigers, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

After three straight absences from the lineup due to a pectoral injury, Crawford showed enough progress to gain clearance to play in the series finale in Detroit. Due to Crawford's injury, in addition to Dylan Moore landing on the injured list with an oblique strain, Adam Frazier had to cover shortstop the past two days, but he should return to his more natural spot at second base now that Crawford is ready to go.

Story went 3-for-5 with a double and a stolen base in a 6-5 win over the Twins on Wednesday.

Story was one of four Boston hitters with multiple hits in the contest, though none of his knocks resulted in a score. The infielder also boosted his fantasy line with a stolen base in the seventh inning. Since returning from a lengthy stay on the injured list Aug. 27, Story has gone 7-for-15 with two runs and two thefts.

Bogaerts went 2-for-4 with a home run, a double, a walk, a stolen base and five RBI in Wednesday's 6-5 win over Minnesota.

Bogaerts knocked in five of Boston's six runs in the contest, with four of those RBI coming on his third-inning grand slam. He added a run-scoring double in the sixth and notched a stolen base to boot. Bogaerts has collected multiple hits in six of his past seven games and is slashing .464/.484/.786 with two homers and 10 RBI over that span.

Seager went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run Wednesday against the Astros.

Seager took Cristian Javier yard in the first inning to tally his 29th homer of the season. He has at least one hit in 10 of his last 13 starts, racking up 10 RBI and 12 runs scored in that span. For the season, Seager is hitting .255/.331/.475, and he has already set a career high for long balls in a campaign.

Witt went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 4-2 loss to the White Sox.

Witt is closing in on a 20-20 season in his rookie year, as his homer Wednesday was his 19th of the year and his third in seven games. The infielder has already accumulated 26 steals in 30 attempts. He's up to a .251/.292/.446 slash line with 66 RBI, 67 runs scored, 22 doubles and six triples through 120 contests.

Berti was removed from Wednesday's loss to the Rays with right hip soreness, Paige Leckie of MLB.com reports.

The 32-year-old left with the injury after the eighth inning, and he provided Miami's only real offensive production prior to his exit by going 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a stolen base. Miami has a scheduled day off Thursday, so Berti will have a day to rest up ahead of Friday's series opener in Atlanta.
