The shortstop is slashing .365/.435/.595 with three homers, six doubles, 17 RBI and six stolen bases over his current 19-game hitting streak. Jon Berti 3B | CHC
Marlins' Jon Berti: Swipes third bag
Berti went 1-for-4 with a run scored and a stolen base in Friday's 6-4 loss to Atlanta.
Making his return from a lengthy stint on the COVID-19 list, Berti got the nod at second base and hit leadoff in place of Jazz Chisholm (hamstring). Chisholm is expected to be back in action this weekend, but Berti has made an impact in a utility role, slashing .295/.426/.523 over 54 plate appearances this season while tallying two homers, four RBI, 11 runs and three steals.

Jon Berti 3B | CHC
Marlins' Jon Berti: Back in action
Berti was activated off the COVID-19 injured list Friday and will lead off and play second base against Atlanta, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
Berti last played in a big-league game three weeks ago, but he's ready to go after going 1-for-3 in a pair of rehab games. He'll start in place of Jazz Chisholm, who's battling a hamstring injury, though Chisholm is expected to return at some point over the weekend and push Berti back to the bench.

Tommy Edman 2B | LAD
Cardinals' Tommy Edman: Notches three hits in loss
Edman went 3-for-5 with a double and a run scored in Thursday's 4-3 loss to the Brewers.
This was Edman's fourth multi-hit effort in his last six games. He's hitting .379 (11-for-29) with four doubles, three RBI, a stolen base and seven runs scored in that productive span. The 27-year-old is up to a .288/.373/.448 slash line with four homers, 21 RBI, 34 runs scored and 10 stolen bases in 43 games. He'll hit leadoff the vast majority of the time, though he'll often play shortstop against right-handed pitchers to allow prospect Nolan Gorman to log time at second base.

Tucupita Marcano 2B | SD
Pirates' Tucupita Marcano: Headed back to Pittsburgh
Marcano will be recalled prior to the Pirates' weekend series at San Diego, Jason Mackey of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
Marcano has maintained an excellent .312/.411/.495 line across 113 plate appearances with Double-A Altoona on the season. While he may not have a stable spot in the lineup, he's likely to pick up consistent playing time thanks to his ability to slot in at the corner outfield positions as well as both second and third base. Yoshi Tsutsugo (undisclosed) was placed on the injured list in the corresponding move.

Joey Wendle 2B | ATL
Marlins' Joey Wendle: Returns from hamstring injury
Wendle (hamstring) was activated from the 10-day injured list Thursday, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
Wendle has been on the injured list since May 13 but is ready to return after logging seven at-bats during a rehab stint. He should find regular at-bats with both Jon Berti (illness) and Jazz Chisholm (hamstring) sidelined in the short term, though a timeshare at third base with Brian Anderson is most likely moving forward. Prior to going down, Wendle had maintained a .304/.368/.456 line with two home runs, 10 RBI and 12 runs scored across 87 plate appearances.

For a second straight game, Arcia is a late addition to Atlanta's lineup. He'll start in left field and bat eighth after Marcell Ozuna (abdomen) was removed from Thursday's lineup. Arcia went 2-for-3 with two doubles, a run, an RBI and a walk in Wednesday's win over Philadelphia.
