Rays' Jacob Waguespack: On shelf at Triple-A
Triple-A Durham placed Waguespack on its 7-day injured list May 26 due to an unspecified injury.
Waguespack made four appearances (one start) for the Rays in 2024, but he's pitched exclusively out of the Triple-A bullpen this season since being optioned to Durham coming out of spring training. The 31-year-old righty turned in an 0.46 ERA, 0.73 WHIP and 18:4 K:BB in 19.2 innings with Durham before landing on the shelf.

Josh Sborz RP | TEX
Rangers' Josh Sborz: Bouncing back from shoulder surgery
Sborz (shoulder) resumed throwing breaking balls in a May 30 bullpen session, Shawn McFarland of The Dallas Morning News reports.
On the mend from mid-November surgery on his right shoulder, Sborz has been throwing off a mound for nearly a month now and appears to be close to facing hitters in live batting practice. He'll likely throw live BP on at least a couple occasions before the Rangers send him out on a what will likely be an extended minor-league rehab assignment. Sborz appears unlikely to return from the 60-day injured list until early July at the soonest.

Edwin Uceta RP | TB
Rays' Edwin Uceta: Earns fifth win
Uceta (5-1) didn't allow a baserunner across two scoreless innings with three strikeouts to earn the win Sunday against the Marlins.
Uceta struggled in his appearance Friday, allowing two earned runs on three hits while recording just one out. However, he bounced back Sunday and generated an impressive six swinging strikes on only 25 total pitches while also picking up his fifth win of the season. Uceta has a 4.88 ERA on the campaign, but he has turned in a scoreless effort in seven of his last eight appearances.

Mariners' Andres Munoz: Nabs 18th save
Munoz picked up the save Sunday against the Angels, allowing one walk and no hits with two strikeouts over a scoreless ninth inning.
Munoz blew each of his last two save chances, but he bounced back with a scoreless ninth frame Sunday to grab his first save since May 23. The 26-year-old hadn't allowed an earned run before his pair of blown saves, and his ERA currently sits at 1.35. Munoz's 18 saves rank third in baseball.

Aroldis Chapman RP | BOS
Red Sox's Aroldis Chapman: Closes door on Yankees
Chapman picked up the save Sunday against the Yankees, striking out the only batter he faced over one-third of an inning.
Chapman's services weren't needed to start the ninth, as the Red Sox led 11-5. However, Robert Stock walked three batters and allowed a two-run home run to Aaron Judge, forcing Alex Cora to turn to Chapman to register the final out. Chapman got Anthony Volpe to strike out on three pitches. He's up to 11 saves this season, and he hasn't allowed a hit in his last five appearances, spanning 4.1 innings. Chapman's 1.71 ERA would be his best mark since 2016.

Matt Brash RP | SEA
Mariners' Matt Brash: Extends scoreless streak in victory
Brash threw a scoreless eighth inning in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Angels. He struck out two.
Sunday marked yet another scoreless outing by Brash, who has rattled off 12 such efforts in a row to begin his season and comeback from 2024 Tommy John surgery. The hard-throwing right-hander remains behind Andres Munoz, who collected his 18th save of the year against Los Angeles, in Seattle's bullpen hierarchy, but Brash has excelled as one of the club's top setup men. Through 10.1 innings, he sports a 12:4 K:BB and 1.06 WHIP to go with his 0.00 ERA and six holds.

Robert Garcia RP | TEX
Rangers' Robert Garcia: Rebounds for fourth save
Garcia earned the save in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Nationals, allowing one hit while striking out two over 1.1 innings.
Garcia set down James Wood to close out the eighth inning before coming back out for the ninth, working around Nathaniel Lowe's one-out double by striking out the final two batters to lock down his fourth save this year. It was a strong effort from Garcia, after he allowed three runs on four hits in a blown save against the Rays in his last appearance. Overall, Garcia sports a 3.12 ERA with a 1.15 WHIP and 25:9 K:BB across 26 innings this season.
