The Mariners reinstated Taylor (lat) from the 15-day injured list Monday.

Taylor has been cleared to make his 2025 debut with Seattle after he suffered a right lat strain early in spring training that resulted in him being shelved to begin the campaign. He proved his health over his four-appearance rehab assignment at Triple-A Tacoma over the past couple of weeks, covering 3.1 innings while striking out four batters and allowing three earned runs on seven hits and no walks. Taylor supplied a 3.72 ERA and 1.14 WHIP and gathered six holds over 21 appearances with Seattle in 2024, but he may be limited to middle-relief work initially as he returns from the lat injury.

Hill tossed 1.2 perfect innings against San Francisco on Sunday, striking out three batters.

Though Hill didn't enter in a save or hold situation, his outing came at a critical juncture of the game, as the Giants had put two runners on base while holding a two-run lead with one out in the eighth inning before the lefty was summoned. Hill handled the situation with aplomb, retiring all five batters he faced on 19 pitches (15 of which were strikes). Hill has been solid in relief for New York this season, posting a 3.68 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 7:2 K:BB over 7.1 innings while picking up two holds.

The Mariners designated Lawrence for assignment Monday.

Lawrence will be moved off the 40-man roster and will surrender his spot on the 26-man active roster and in the bullpen to right-hander Troy Taylor (lat), who was reinstated from the 15-day injured list in a corresponding move. After receiving a call-up from Triple-A Tacoma last Wednesday, Lawrence made one relief appearance for Seattle and gave up two earned runs on four hits and one walk over three innings.

Hoffman (2-0) picked up the win in Sunday's extra-inning victory over the Orioles, allowing one hit over two scoreless innings and striking out four.

The Toronto closer entered a 6-6 tie in the ninth inning, and stuck around for the 10th after the Blue Jays pushed across a run in the top of the final frame. Hoffman tossed 24 pitches (18 strikes) in the appearance, which could make him unavailable Monday should the team have a late lead to protect against Atlanta. Through his first 9.1 innings with the Jays, Hoffman has a 0.96 ERA, 0.64 WHIP and dominant 13:1 K:BB while converting all three of his save chances.

Munoz earned the save Sunday against the Rangers after giving up one hit in a scoreless ninth inning. He struck out two.

Munoz gave up a one-out base hit to Josh Smith and followed that up with back-to-back punch outs to seal the deal. Munoz now sits by himself in second with six saves on the year and has yet to allow a run in eight innings while posting a 12:4 K:BB.

Hendriks (elbow) walked one and struck out one over a scoreless inning for Triple-A Worcester on Sunday.

Hendriks made his second rehab appearance for the WooSox and looked sharp in both. He's allowed one hit and one walk while striking out four over two innings. Red Sox manager Alex Cora told Lauren Campbell of MassLive.com that the organization will assess where Hendriks is at before considering potential next moves.

Hader allowed two hits and struck out one in a scoreless ninth inning Sunday against the Angels.

Hader had a four-run lead, but he hadn't pitched since Tuesday, so he entered the game in a non-save situation. He allowed a pair of singles but still managed to record his fifth straight scoreless appearance. Hader hasn't recorded a save since April 3, but that hasn't been a result of his performance.

Astros general manager Dana Brown said Sunday that he expects Gusto to make at least one more start with the big club, Matt Kawahara of the Houston Chronicle reports.

After opening the season in the Houston bullpen, Gusto slid into the rotation Saturday as a replacement for Spencer Arrighetti (thumb), who was placed on the 15-day injured list earlier in the week. Though he took a loss against the Angels and gave up three earned runs over four innings, Gusto delivered a strong 6:1 K:BB and induced 12 whiffs on 72 pitches. The Astros seemingly came away encouraged by the rookie's performance, and he looks like he'll be in line to make his next start during the team's three-game series versus the Padres next weekend. Gusto could be headed to the bullpen or to Triple-A Sugar Land after that, however, as Lance McCullers (forearm) could be on track to return from the 15-day injured list the following week.

Duran threw a perfect inning while striking out one in Sunday's 5-1 win over Detroit. He has a 1.42 ERA with five strikeouts in 6.1 innings but doesn't have a save chance.

He was lined up to get a save opportunity, but the Twins scored in the bottom of the eighth inning to give Duran a four-run lead to protect in the ninth inning. The Twins do not have a save yet as a team this season. Duran's velocity is down slightly this season (99.9 mph average fastball from 100.5 mph last season), but he's still been very effective. He's set to get the bulk of save chances for the Twins, though manager Rocco Baldelli will likely play matchups and use Duran in the eighth inning at times with Griffin Jax pitching the ninth inning.

Milner struck out two over a scoreless inning in Sunday's 3-1 loss to the Mariners.

Milner made a sixth consecutive scoreless appearance to open the season. He's allowed three hits and walked one while striking out eight over seven innings.
