Dodgers' Max Muncy: X-rays negative
X-rays on Muncy's left hand came back negative Thursday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
Muncy was hit in the hand by a pitch during Wednesday's Cactus League game against Texas, but he appears to have escaped with only a bruise. Muncy said the swelling on his hand has already gone down, but he has yet to swing a bat again. It may be a few days before the 33-year-old plays in another spring game, but he shouldn't be at risk of missing Opening Day.

Cubs' Patrick Wisdom: Scratched from lineup
Wisdom was scratched from the Cubs' Cactus League lineup Thursday, Maddie Lee of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Diamondbacks' Eugenio Suarez: Scratched with side tightness
Suarez was scratched from Arizona's lineup for Thursday's Cactus League game against the Giants due to left side tightness, Jesse Friedman of GoPHNX.com reports.
Manager Torey Lovullo said Suarez is day-to-day, so it doesn't seem Suarez's injury is too severe, but it will keep him out of game action nonetheless. Blaze Alexander will fill in as Arizona's third baseman Thursday while Suarez recovers.

Nationals' Nick Senzel: Slated to play Thursday
Senzel (illness) will bat fifth and play third base in Thursday's Grapefruit League game against the Cardinals, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.
Senzel appeared set to return to spring action Wednesday before the team ultimately scratched him from the lineup. He is once again penciled into the batting order, so it appears he's ready to resume his preparations for the upcoming season. The 2016 second overall pick is looking to revitalize his career after fizzling out with Cincinnati.

Nick Madrigal 3B | LAA
Cubs' Nick Madrigal: May get pushed into bench role
Madrigal may have to settle for a bench role due to Christopher Morel seemingly being in line to start most days at third base, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.
The versatile Morel has been focusing on the hot corner in camp, and it seems like he will emerge as the top option there. With Nico Hoerner and Dansby Swanson locked in up the middle, Madrigal seems destined for a utility role off the bench, which would cap his fantasy upside for the time being. Things could change if one of those other players suffers an injury.
