Patrick Wisdom 3B | SEA
Cubs' Patrick Wisdom: Plays in sim game Tuesday
Wisdom (quadricep) took at-bats in a simulated game Tuesday and is building back up to being ready for game action, MLB.com reports.
Wisdom has played in only three Cactus League games, and there's no clear timetable for his return, but this is still promising news. The veteran seems like he should be healthy by the start of the regular season, though he'll likely have to settle for a reserve role due to the Cubs adding some corner infield depth in the offseason and Christopher Morel pushing for more playing time as well.

Eugenio Suarez 3B | CIN
Diamondbacks' Eugenio Suarez: Returns from side injury
Suarez (side) is starting at third base and batting fifth for the Diamondbacks on Tuesday versus the Padres in his return to the lineup, Alex Weiner of ArizonaSports.com reports.
Suarez hasn't played in nearly a week after developing some side tightness, but he's now feeling well enough to give it a go. The veteran third baseman was acquired via trade from the Mariners earlier this offseason after slashing .232/.323/.391 with 22 home runs and 96 RBI in 2023.

Ke'Bryan Hayes 3B | CIN
Pirates' Ke'Bryan Hayes: Showing power early in spring
Hayes has hit two home runs and a double across his first 14 Grapefruit League at-bats.
Hayes is locked into every day playing at third base thanks to his tremendous defense, but his fantasy value will turn on his ability to hit for power and swipe bases. He took a step forward in the former category in 2023, improving his average launch angle to 13.2 degrees, which resulted in a career-best .182 ISO. He's seemingly carried that approach over into his early at-bats this spring and could be in for a solid regular season while occupying a key position in the Pittsburgh lineup.

Nick Madrigal 3B | LAA
Cubs' Nick Madrigal: Leaves with leg cramp
Madrigal was pulled from Monday's game against the Padres with a right leg cramp, Tony Andracki of Marquee Sports Network reports.
Madrigal grounded out in his lone plate appearance before exiting. Leg problems have plagued the 26-year-old throughout his career, so hopefully this is indeed just a cramp and it's a day-to-day situation. Madrigal is competing for playing time at third base for the Cubs.

Andre Lipcius 3B | CHW
Dodgers' Andre Lipcius: Acquired by Dodgers
The Dodgers acquired Lipcius from the Tigers on Monday in exchange for cash considerations, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
Lipcius had been designated for assignment and now finds himself in a new organization. The 25-year-old has little shot to crack the Dodgers' Opening Day roster but will give them some infield depth at Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Patrick Wisdom 3B | SEA
Cubs' Patrick Wisdom: No longer playing Tuesday
Wisdom (quad) isn't feeling well enough to return to Cactus League action as hoped Tuesday, Meghan Montemurro of the Chicago Tribune reports.
Wisdom had a flare-up with his right quad last week and hasn't progressed as quickly as hoped. He remains day-to-day, but it's unclear when he might be ready for games. Wisdom figures to see most of his starts for the Cubs this season against left-handed pitching.

Jace Peterson SS | ARI
Diamondbacks' Jace Peterson: Back in action Monday
Peterson (wrist) is starting at third base and batting second for the Diamondbacks on Monday in his return to Cactus League play.
Peterson was held out of games for nearly a week because of inflammation in his right wrist, but he's feeling better now and has returned to action. The 33-year-old is set up for a utility role in Arizona this season.

Eugenio Suarez 3B | CIN
Diamondbacks' Eugenio Suarez: Should play Tuesday
Arizona manager Torey Lovullo said Sunday that Suarez (side) should return to action Tuesday, Steve Gilbert of MLB.com reports.
Suarez was scratched from the lineup last Thursday then sat out the weekend. The Diamondbacks are getting by at third base with a mix of players, including Blaze Alexander, Kevin Newman and Emmanuel Rivera.

Ryan McMahon 3B | NYY
Rockies' Ryan McMahon: Will hit fifth in order
McMahon is expected to hit fifth in the Rockies' lineup during the regular season, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.
The Rockies prefer to alternate left and right-handed hitters in the lineup, with Charlie Blackmon, Kris Bryant, Nolan Jones and Brendan Rodgers set to hit in the top four. McMahon will be pushed down in the order slightly as a result, as he primarily hit third in 2023. He's had consistent production across the last three seasons, recording at least 20 home runs in each with a wOBA of at least .325.

Warming Bernabel 3B | WAS
Rockies' Warming Bernabel: Sent to minors
The Rockies optioned Bernabel to Double-A Hartford on Sunday.
Though Bernabel is on the Rockies' 40-man roster and was attending big-league spring training, he wasn't a serious threat to win an Opening Day spot for the big club. He'll instead return to Hartford for a repeat season after he slashed .225/.270/.338 over 322 plate appearances with the affiliate in 2023.
