Rengifo is not in the lineup Tuesday versus the Reds.

Rengifo has been starting regularly at shortstop with Zach Neto (back) on the 10-day injured list, but he'll get the night off Tuesday. Andrew Velazquez will start in his place and bat ninth.

Arraez (illness) is starting at second base and batting second Tuesday versus the Padres.

Arraez was lifted from Monday's series opener in San Diego because of a stomach cramp, but all is well leading into Tuesday night's tilt at Petco Park. The 26-year-old boasts a .358/.401/.460 slash line through 120 games (507 plate appearances) this season with the Marlins.

San Francisco transferred Mathis (shoulder) from the 10-day injured list to the 60-day injured list Tuesday.

Mathis was diagnosed with a right shoulder strain last week and is officially done for the remainder of the 2023 regular season. Kyle Harrison will fill the vacated 40-man roster spot as he prepares to make his major-league debut Tuesday night in Philadelphia.

Estrada (hand) is back in the lineup Tuesday at Philadelphia.

Estrada will start at second base and bat second against the Phillies and right-hander Taijuan Walker after missing Monday's series opener due to a bruised right hand. X-rays turned up negative for any structural damage.

Frazier will not start Tuesday versus the Blue Jays.

Frazier will be on the bench with lefty Yusei Kikuchi on the mound for the Blue Jays. Jordan Westburg will shift over to second base, Gunnar Henderson will slide to third base and Jorge Mateo will enter the lineup at shortstop.

Julien is not the the lineup Tuesday versus the Brewers.

Julien will take a seat on the bench with lefty Wade Miley pitching for the Brewers. Jorge Polanco will shift over to second base with Kyle Farmer entering the lineup at third base and batting sixth.

Peguero is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Cardinals.

Peguero went 1-for-3 with two walks and two RBI in Monday's series-opening rout of St. Louis, but he'll grab some pine Tuesday as Alika Williams covers shortstop and Ji Hwan Bae handles second base.

Lowe is not in the starting lineup Tuesday versus the Rockies.

Lowe will be on the bench with left-hander Ty Blach getting the start for the Rockies. Isaac Paredes will shift over to second base with Curtis Mead entering the lineup at third base and batting seventh.

Alu is absent from the lineup Tuesday versus the Yankees.

Ildemaro Vargas is covering second base and Carter Kieboom is at third as the Nationals go with a right-heavy attack against left-hander Carlos Rodon. Alu has batted just .233/.266/.300 through his first 64 major-league plate appearances.

Diaz went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a win over the Royals on Monday.

Diaz's ninth round-tripper of the campaign came in the second inning and erased Oakland's early 1-0 deficit. The 23-year-old's blast snapped a 13-game homerless streak, as well as a 1-for-21 slump that had encompassed his previous seven games.
