Red Sox's David Hamilton: Smacks first homer in win
Hamilton went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Wednesday's win over the Rays.
Although Hamilton got a hold of a Zack Littell fastball for a long ball in the third inning, the 335-foot solo shot wouldn't have left the yard in any other MLB ballpark, per Statcast. Wednesday still marked the first homer of the year for Hamilton, who's off to a miserable start at the plate while slashing .083/.120/.208 with two RBI, three runs scored and two stolen bases over 24 at-bats (10 games).

Jackson Holliday SS | BAL
Orioles' Jackson Holliday: Smacks grand slam in win
Holliday went 1-for-4 with a grand slam in Wednesday's 9-1 win over the Guardians.
Holliday provided all the offense Baltimore would need with a second-inning grand slam off Gavin Williams. It's the second grand slam of the 21-year-old Holliday's career and his second home run this season. Holliday, who had been stuck in a 0-for-17 slump in the five games prior to Wednesday, is now batting .216 with a .623 OPS, eight RBI, five runs scored and a stolen base through his first 52 plate appearances this season.

Michael Massey 2B | KC
Royals' Michael Massey: Heading to bench Wednesday
Massey is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Yankees.
After going 1-for-20 at the dish while starting in each of the last five games, Massey will get a day off to clear his head. Tyler Tolbert will pick up his first career MLB start in place of Massey, covering second base while batting eighth.

Willi Castro LF | COL
Twins' Willi Castro: Exits with oblique injury
Twins manager Rocco Baldelli said that Castro left Wednesday's 4-3 extra-inning win over the Mets in the eighth inning due to tightness in his right oblique, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.
Castro started at shortstop and went 2-for-3 with a double before departing with the injury, which Baldelli described as minor. With Carlos Correa dealing with a hand injury, the Twins may need to call up another infielder if Castro isn't available for the team's next game Friday in Atlanta.

Jordan Westburg 2B | BAL
Orioles' Jordan Westburg: Exits starting nine
Westburg is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Guardians, Jacob Calvin Meyer of The Baltimore Sun reports.
Westburg missed a game last week with an upper-body issue but had started each of the previous three contests. His absence from Wednesday's lineup appears to be a routine day off. Ramon Urias will start at third base and bat ninth for the Orioles.

Mauricio Dubon 2B | ATL
Astros' Mauricio Dubon: Back on bench Wednesday
Dubon is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Cardinals.
With Brendan Rodgers (hip) making his return to the lineup Wednesday, Dubon will shift back into a utility role. Dubon had started at second base in each of the previous three games while Rodgers was out, going 3-for-8 with a double, two walks, two runs, an RBI and two stolen bases.

Brendan Rodgers 2B | BOS
Astros' Brendan Rodgers: Back in lineup Wednesday
Rodgers (hip) will start at second base and bat sixth in Wednesday's game versus the Cardinals.
It's Rodgers' first start in a week, as he's been dealing with a hip issue. He did make one pinch-hitting appearance during that stretch and is well enough to return to the lineup for Wednesday's series finale.
