Nationals' Daylen Lile: Back in action Tuesday
Lile (knee) will start at designated hitter and bat cleanup in Tuesday's game versus Atlanta.
Lile missed the first game of the series Monday with a knee issue, but he's feeling well enough to give it a go Tuesday. The rookie has been one of the best hitters in baseball in September, slashing .378/.432/.757 with four home runs.

Bryce Harper 1B | PHI
Phillies' Bryce Harper: Sitting out with illness
Phillies manager Rob Thomson said that Harper is absent from Tuesday's lineup versus the Marlins due to illness, Lochlahn March of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
The illness is bad enough to force Harper to miss his first start since July 2, but he should be ready to return to action in a day or two. Otto Kemp is at first base and batting ninth for the Phillies.

Xavier Edwards 2B | MIA
Marlins' Xavier Edwards: Moved down to six spot
Edwards will start at second base and bat sixth in Tuesday's game versus the Phillies.
Edwards batted third in the previous two contests, which was the first time all season he hit anywhere other than leadoff. Now Edwards -- who is slashing .168/.219/.215 across his last 27 games -- will be all the way down in the No. 6 spot.

Austin Hays LF | CHW
Reds' Austin Hays: Remains out of lineup
Hays (back) remains out of the lineup for Tuesday's contest against the Pirates.
Hays had to be lifted from Saturday's game versus the Cubs with back spasms and will now miss a second straight start. Will Benson will handle left field and Noelvi Marte will patrol right field for the Reds in Tuesday's series opener.

Cedric Mullins CF | TB
Mets' Cedric Mullins: Sitting out against righty
Mullins is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game versus the Cubs.
Right-hander Cade Horton is toeing the rubber for the Cubs, but the left-handed-hitting Mullins will begin the festivities on the bench. Mullins is slashing just .188/.287/.291 in 40 games since joining the Mets. Brandon Nimmo is getting his first start of the season in center field, while Starling Marte will patrol left field.

Edmundo Sosa 2B | PHI
Phillies' Edmundo Sosa: Return pushed to Wednesday
Sosa (groin) is now expected to be activated from the 10-day injured list Wednesday, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.
The initial expectation was that Sosa would be activated the first day he's eligible Tuesday. However, the Phillies have elected to have him take some swings against minor-league pitchers Tuesday and, assuming that goes well, will reinstate him Wednesday. He's been out since mid-September with a right groin strain.

Brett Wisely 2B | ATL
Braves' Brett Wisely: Drawing start at second base
Wisely will start at second base and bat eighth in Tuesday's game against the Nationals.
Wisely was recalled from Triple-A Gwinnett earlier in the day, and he will receive the first opportunity to fill in at second base for the injured Ozzie Albies (hand). The 26-year-old Wisely sports a career .217/.263/.324 slash line over parts of three big-league seasons.

Trevor Megill RP | MIL
Brewers' Trevor Megill: Hoping to return Sunday
The Brewers are hopeful Megill (elbow) will be activated from the 15-day injured list Sunday, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
Megill has not had a smooth recovery from a right flexor strain that's kept him out all of September. He'll try throwing off the mound again Tuesday, though, with a 25-to-30 pitch, two "up" bullpen session. If that goes well, Megill could make it back for one appearance on the final day of the regular season as he tests out his readiness for the playoffs.
