The Marlins activated Myers (ankle) from the 60-day injured list Tuesday, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

Myers has been shelved since just before the All-Star break with a fractured left ankle, but he's ready to return after playing a few rehab games with Triple-A Jacksonville. The Marlins currently aren't scheduled to face any lefties this week, so the right-handed hitting Myers will likely be more of a bench bat.

The Marlins designated Pache for assignment Tuesday, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

Pache was claimed off waivers in early August but produced just a .518 OPS in 35 games and had been playing sparingly of late. The transaction frees up a spot for Dane Myers' (ankle) return to the active roster.

Single-A Carolina placed Knoth on the 7-day injured list Aug. 27 with an undisclosed injury.

It was an understandably uneven first full season for Knoth, who turned 19 just a couple weeks before landing on the shelf. The 6-foot-1 righty logged a 4.48 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 96:40 K:BB in 84.1 innings across 21 starts, although his 3.58 xFIP suggests he was a bit unlucky. He had three starts with seven strikeouts and one start where he struck out nine in 4.2 innings, so the swing-and-miss upside is there. However, he also had a five-walk start and a four-walk start. Knoth still has a high ceiling, but in addition to needing to improve his command and changeup, there's now this undisclosed injury to monitor heading into the offseason.

Walker went 1-for-4 with a double and an RBI in Monday's 6-3 loss to the Giants.

Walker was back in the lineup after getting a day off Sunday. Arizona manager Torey Lovullo talked to Alex Weiner of Arizona Sports on Monday about giving Walker time off following his return from an oblique injury. "Yesterday I took [Christian] Walker out of the lineup... It's probably about three or four days too late to give him a day off, talking to the medical team," Lovullo said. Walker should be available for the final five games of the season.

Perdomo went 2-for-4 with a walk, a double, an RBI and a run scored in Monday's 6-3 loss to San Francisco.

Perdomo moved up the order to bat second, as Ketel Marte was held out of the starting lineup in a preventative measure. The double was the career-high 21st for Perdomo, who also has career bests in batting average (.276) and slugging percentage (.382). This is not the same hitter that batted .195 in 2022, his first full season in the majors.

Arizona manager Torey Lovullo said Monday the decision to hold Marte out of that day's starting lineup was "preventative" and described the second baseman as being in the "red zone," Alex Weiner of Arizona Sports reports. "The left leg, it probably wasn't 100% when he came back, if you guys studied the swings enough, you could recognize he was protecting that space," the manager said.

Lovullo added that Marte was available off the bench, and the infielder entered as a pinch hitter in the eighth inning and finished the game at second base. The Diamondbacks lost to the Giants and are now one-and-a-half games ahead of Atlanta for the final wild card spot with five games left (six for Atlanta). Reading between the lines of Lovullo's comments, Monday's lighter-than-normal effort sets up Marte to finish out the season as an everyday lineup presence.

Canha went 2-for-4 with a stolen base in Monday's 6-3 win over the Diamondbacks.

Canha hasn't seen much more than a short-side platoon role since he was traded from the Tigers to the Giants at the deadline. He's batting .282 with San Francisco, though he has just two extra-base hits (both doubles) and four RBI across 30 games with the team. Overall, Canha has a .240/.343/.343 slash line with seven home runs, 42 RBI, 45 runs scored and seven stolen bases through 123 games this season.

Schmitt went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Monday's 6-3 win over the Diamondbacks.

Schmitt went yard in the fourth inning to give the Giants a 4-2 lead. The infielder has gone 6-for-14 (.429) with four RBI since he rejoined the major-league roster last week. For the season, he's posted a .240/.267/.460 slash line with six homers, 14 RBI, 10 runs scored, two doubles and one triple over 36 major-league contests.

Conforto went 2-for-5 with a solo home run, a double and two total runs scored in Monday's 6-3 win over the Diamondbacks.

Conforto has found his power with three homers over his last five games, going 8-for-21 (.381) in that span. The outfielder is seeing steady playing time between designated hitter and left field since the Giants have faced a lot of right-handed pitchers lately, though it was lefty Eduardo Rodriguez on the mound for Arizona on Monday. For the season, Conforto is up to a .234/.306/.447 slash line, 19 homers, 63 RBI, 53 runs scored, 26 doubles and three triples over 126 games, which is his most games played since 2019.

Chapman went 2-for-4 with an inside-the-park home run, a triple, a walk and three RBI in Monday's 6-3 win over the Diamondbacks.

Chapman has gone 4-for-11 since his stint on the paternity list, with three of the hits since his return being homers. The third baseman is up to 27 long balls this year, a total he's reached in three of the last four seasons. He has a .249/.332/.466 slash line, 78 RBI, 96 runs scored, 15 stolen bases, 36 doubles and two triples over 149 contests.
