Norby went 1-for-5 in Thursday's loss to the Diamondbacks.

Seeing his first MLB game action of the year after beginning the season on the IL due to an oblique strain, Norby struck out twice but did bang a single into left field in the sixth inning. The 24-year-old third baseman hit second Thursday against southpaw Eduardo Rodriguez, and he's likely to have a prominent spot in the order against right-handers as well as the Marlins search for offense. Norby slashed .247/.315/.445 with seven homers over 36 games for Miami last season after being acquired from Baltimore.

The Cubs optioned Little to Triple-A Iowa on Thursday.

Little made just one appearance during his brief time with the big club and allowed one run while walking four over one-third of an inning. The Cubs will announced a corresponding roster move prior to Friday's game versus the Diamondbacks.

The Rockies placed Doyle (personal) on the bereavement list Thursday.

By rule, Doyle will miss the next 3-to-7 games. He's also been dealing with a quad injury recently that's kept him out of the starting lineup for the previous six contests, although he did appear as a pinch hitter in Wednesday's loss to the Dodgers. Doyle will likely be back in the Rockies' lineup Tuesday in Kansas City, assuming he's recovered from the quad issue by then.

Suarez (back) will throw a bullpen session Friday, and his next minor-league rehab start is scheduled for Tuesday with Triple-A Lehigh Valley, Jeff Kerr of CBS Philadelphia reports.

Manager Rob Thomson noted that the left-hander has no issues with his back but could need another rehab appearance after Tuesday, which would likely push back Suarez's return to Philadelphia's rotation until early May. He threw 54 pitches Wednesday with Single-A Clearwater, so he'll likely be targeting the 70-pitch range in his next outing in the minors. The Phillies intend to bring Suarez back as a starter, but it sounds like Taijuan Walker is poised to get at least two more turns in the rotation in the interim.

Lindor went 3-for-4 with an RBI in Thursday's win over the Cardinals.

Lindor lined a single to drive in a run in the fourth inning but also helped another run come across while getting caught in a rundown to end the frame. The All-Star shortstop has now hit safely in 13 of his 14 outings in April, slashing .317/.377/.433 with one home run, six RBI, 10 runs scored and two stolen bases across 60 at-bats this month following a 0-for-11 start in March.

Vientos went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Thursday's win over the Cardinals.

It was a much-needed first homer of the year for Vientos, who took Cardinals right-hander Andre Pallante yard to open the scoring Thursday in the second inning. Vientos is slashing a dismal .152/.253/.258 with four doubles, five RBI and six runs scored through 66 at-bats (18 games), but fantasy managers should try to stay patient with the slugging corner infielder. As long as Vientos is hitting in the heart of New York's star-studded lineup, he should see plenty of RBI opportunities going forward.

Diaz picked up the save after allowing one walk in a scoreless ninth inning to close out Thursday's 4-1 win over the Cardinals. He struck out two.

Although it was Diaz's third straight outing in which he allowed the leadoff batter to reach base, he didn't face much resistance from the Cardinals otherwise. The hard-throwing right-hander still has work to do to improve on his 5.87 ERA, 1.57 WHIP and 11:6 K:BB over 7.2 innings, but Diaz has converted each of his first four save opportunities as New York's closer in 2025.

Ramos went 1-for-4 with two runs scored during Thursday's 6-4 loss to Philadelphia.

Ramos lined a two-out double into center field and came around to score in the first frame. In the sixth, he reached first base on an error and scored again. It marked just the second time this season that he's scored twice in a game, with both instances coming in his last two appearances. The 25-year-old outfielder notched at least one hit in all four games of the Giants' series against the Phillies, going 5-for-17 with two doubles. Despite the resurgence, Ramos has cooled off following a hot start to the 2025 campaign and is now slashing .225/.271/.413 with nine RBI, six doubles, three homers and a 4:24 BB:K across 85 plate appearances.

Hays went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in Thursday's 11-7 loss to Seattle.

Hays gave the Reds a lead early, when the cleanup hitter belted a two-run home run in the first inning. He didn't need much time to get his timing down after spending the first two-and-a-half weeks of the season on the injured list. Hays has hit safely in all three games played since being activated, going 4-for-13 with two homers and six RBI.

Pallante (2-1) took the loss Thursday against the Mets after allowing four runs on seven hits and no walks in six innings. He struck out two.

Each of Pallante's four runs allowed came during the second inning, when the Mets knocked him around with five hits. A whopping 12 of Pallante's 18 outs came on groundouts, so he was able to keep the New York bats in check to an extent. It was the first time through four starts this season that the right-hander surrendered more than two runs. Pallante will take a respectable 3.22 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 15:7 K:BB over 22.1 innings into his next scheduled start, which is tentatively set for next week in Atlanta.
