Irvin did not factor into the decision Friday against the Mets, allowing one run on five hits and a walk over 7.1 innings. He struck out four.

Irvin held the Mets off the board through seven innings before the Nats' bullpen allowed an inherited run to score in the eighth. The 28-year-old Irvin has been stellar in his last three outings, allowing just three runs on 11 hits across 20.2 innings in that span. His ERA is down to 3.19 through six starts (36.2 innings) this year with a 1.01 WHIP and 31:8 K:BB. Irvin will look to keep rolling in his next outing, tentatively scheduled for next week in Philadelphia.

Mitchell was removed early from Friday's game against the Cardinals due to left oblique tightness, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Mitchell grounded into a fielder's choice during his lone at-bat in the second inning and was replaced in the field in the fourth. The severity of his injury remains unclear, but Isaac Collins could be in line for some outfield reps if Mitchell ends up needing to miss time.

Doyle is not in the Rockies' starting lineup against the Reds on Friday due to personal reasons, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.

Doyle played in both games of Thursday's doubleheader against Kansas City and went 1-for-6 with three walks, a run scored and a stolen base. He had been out of the lineup since April 10 due to a quadriceps injury and a stint on the bereavement list, and the 26-year-old outfielder will be out of Friday's lineup while attending a personal matter. Jordan Beck, Mickey Moniak and Sean Bouchard will man the outfield for the Rockies.

Walker (1-2) took the loss against the Cubs on Friday, allowing two runs on six hits and two walks over three innings. He struck out four.

Walker at least managed to limit the Cubs to two runs despite dealing with traffic throughout the start. Still, the right-hander was only able to make it through three innings on 86 pitches after he was removed from his previous start with shoulder stiffness. Walker still holds a respectable 2.78 ERA with a 1.37 WHIP and 20:10 K:BB through five starts (22.2 innings) this year. He's currently lined up to face the Nationals at home in his next outing.

Rea (1-0) earned the win Friday over the Phillies, allowing three hits and two walks over five scoreless innings. He struck out seven.

Making his second start in place of Justin Steele (elbow), Rea turned in five strong innings against the Phillies en route to his first win of the season. The 34-year-old Rea has gotten off to a nice start this year, both as a starter and out of the bullpen. His ERA is down to 0.96 with a 1.07 WHIP and 19:3 K:BB across 18.2 innings. Rea's currently slated to face the Pirates on the road in his next outing.

The Rockies transferred Estrada to the 60-day injured list Friday.

Estrada has been on the injured list since Opening Day due to a fractured right wrist, and his move to the 60-day IL will ensure he remains out until at least late May. Owen Miller was selected to the active roster Friday in a corresponding move.

The Rockies optioned Fulford to Triple-A Albuquerque on Friday.

Fulford was promoted to the majors April 14 and smacked his first big-league home run this past Sunday against the Nationals. He appeared in four games (two starts) for the Rockies as the third catcher behind Hunter Goodman and Jacob Stallings. Colorado selected Owen Miller's contract from Albuquerque in a corresponding move.

The Rockies selected Miller's contract from Triple-A Albuquerque on Friday.

Miller has slashed .244/.322/.372 with two homers, 13 RBI and 14 runs scored across 90 plate appearances this season in Triple-A, and he'll now be called upon to give the Rockies a bench piece capable of playing all over the infield and in the corner outfield spots. He'll replace Braxton Fulford on the big-league roster and take the 40-man spot of Thairo Estrada (wrist), who was shifted to the 60-day IL.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Friday that an MRI on Snell's left shoulder revealed "no new findings," and the 32-year-old southpaw will receive an injection to help treat the inflammation, Alden Gonzalez of ESPN.com reports.

Snell was shut down from his throwing program Tuesday after suffering a setback. He's been on the 15-day injured list since April 6 due to left shoulder inflammation, and what was once hoped to be a brief stint on the IL has become more complicated. How Snell's shoulder reacts to the injection will determine the next steps in his rehab program.

Kelenic isn't in the lineup for Atlanta's game against the Diamondbacks on Friday.

Kelenic will take a seat Friday after going 4-for-19 with a homer, three runs scored and six strikeouts over his last six games. His absence will clear a spot in right field for Eli White to pick up a start and bat eighth.
