Walker pitched a perfect inning to earn the save in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Royals.

Walker has recorded the Giants' last two saves, so he's currently doing a decent job of fending off Camilo Doval's challenge for the closer role. Walker has also pitched four consecutive scoreless and hitless innings, though he has a 1:2 K:BB in that span. The right-hander is at a 5.00 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and 16:7 K:BB with nine saves in 11 chances over 18 innings this season.

Birdsong (2-0) allowed one unearned run on five hits and struck out four without walking a batter over five innings to earn the win over the Royals on Tuesday.

Birdsong's strong start to the year out of the bullpen earned him a chance to replace Jordan Hicks in the Giants' rotation. This outing was a good first look for Birdsong, who wasn't asked to do too much with 80 pitches (54 strikes) while facing a low-scoring offense. He had been tagged for eight runs (four earned) over 7.2 innings across four relief outings in May before his promotion to the rotation. Birdsong is sporting a 1.91 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 29:10 K:BB across 28.1 innings this season. He is projected to make his next start on the road versus the Tigers, which is a much more intimidating matchup.

Henderson (3-0) earned the win Tuesday against the Orioles after allowing two hits and two walks in five scoreless innings. He struck out seven.

Henderson scattered two singles while tossing at least five innings and allowing two runs or fewer in his third consecutive start to begin his major-league career. The rookie right-hander registered an impressive 20 whiffs Tuesday, and he's now punched out at least seven in each of his first three outings. Henderson boasts a 1.69 ERA, 0.81 WHIP and 23:4 K:BB over 16 frames, giving him plenty of fantasy appeal in his next scheduled start against a Pirates team that has a miserable .561 OPS through 18 games in May.

Hoskins went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a double and an additional run scored in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Orioles.

It was the sixth home run of the season for Hoskins, who continues to put a dreadful start to the year behind him. Starting from the game when he launched his first long ball of the season back on April 15, the veteran first baseman is hitting .347 (35-for-101) with eight doubles, 22 RBI and 14 runs scored covering 31 outings. Although his .297 average on the season figures to regress at some point toward his .241 mark for his career in this area, Hoskins is certainly worth a look in all fantasy leagues for rosters in need of power.

Frelick went 1-for-2 with a two-run home run, two walks, a stolen base and an additional run scored in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Orioles.

Frelick socked his third homer of the season while also tallying at least one hit for the seventh time in his last nine games. Over this period, the outfielder is batting .281 (9-for-32) with two homers, five RBI, three runs scored and two stolen bases. The continued absences of both Garrett Mitchell (oblique) and Blake Perkins (shin) should solidify Frelick's playing time, at least until Milwaukee's outfield gets healthier.

Uribe picked up the save in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Orioles after striking out the side in the ninth inning.

Closer Trevor Megill and setup man Nick Mears had both worked the prior two days, paving the way for Uribe to receive his first save opportunity of the year. Uribe hasn't given up a run in any of his last 13 appearances, and he boasts a 1.19 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 32:10 K:BB over 22.2 innings this season. The 24-year-old right-hander is unlikely to see save chances when most of Milwaukee's high-leverage arms are available, but Uribe is tied for the National League lead with 12 holds.

The Nationals are expected to recall Hassell from Triple-A Rochester on Wednesday, Andrew Golden of The Washington Post reports.

After a slow start to the Triple-A season, Hassell has caught fire to the tune of a .339/.381/.559 slash line with four homers, 14 RBI, eight runs and two steals in 63 plate appearances since the start of May. With Jacob Young (shoulder) and Dylan Crews (back) both dealing with injuries, Hassell will receive his first call-up to the big leagues to provide the Nationals' outfield corps with a healthy body. The 23-year-old is capable of playing all three outfield positions, though he's worked almost exclusively as a center fielder this season.

Crews was removed from Tuesday's game against Atlanta with a left lower-back injury, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.

Crews aggravated his back on a check swing during his at-bat in the fifth inning, and he was replaced on defense to start the sixth. The 23-year-old said after the game that his injury is something he's been playing through for about a week, and he's scheduled to receive an MRI to determine if it's a structural issue. He can be considered day-to-day until the results of his tests come back.

Cease (1-3) took the loss Tuesday against the Blue Jays, allowing three runs on three hits and one walk in seven innings. He struck out six.

Although Cease's three runs allowed were the most in his last eight starts, he established a season high with seven innings. The hard-throwing right-hander has now fanned at least six in six of his last seven outings, posting a 3.20 ERA and 46:13 K:BB over 39.1 innings in that span. Two of Cease's hits surrendered went for home runs Tuesday, which represented his season worst in homers allowed, so he'll be looking to keep the ball in the yard in his next scheduled appearance against Atlanta.

Olson went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 5-3 loss to Washington.

Olson put Atlanta on the board in the second inning when he took Mitchell Parker deep to center field for a solo homer. Olson has recorded at least one RBI in each of his last four games, going 8-for-16 with three home runs and five RBI over that span. He has slashed .250/.315/.531 across 73 plate appearances since the beginning of May.
