Crews was removed from Tuesday's game against Atlanta with a left lower-back injury, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.

Crews aggravated his back on a check swing during his at-bat in the fifth inning, and he was replaced on defense to start the sixth. The 23-year-old said after the game that his injury is something he's been playing through for about a week, and he's scheduled to receive an MRI to determine if it's a structural issue. He can be considered day-to-day until the results of his tests come back.

Cease (1-3) took the loss Tuesday against the Blue Jays, allowing three runs on three hits and one walk in seven innings. He struck out six.

Although Cease's three runs allowed were the most in his last eight starts, he established a season high with seven innings. The hard-throwing right-hander has now fanned at least six in six of his last seven outings, posting a 3.20 ERA and 46:13 K:BB over 39.1 innings in that span. Two of Cease's hits surrendered went for home runs Tuesday, which represented his season worst in homers allowed, so he'll be looking to keep the ball in the yard in his next scheduled appearance against Atlanta.

Olson went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 5-3 loss to Washington.

Olson put Atlanta on the board in the second inning when he took Mitchell Parker deep to center field for a solo homer. Olson has recorded at least one RBI in each of his last four games, going 8-for-16 with three home runs and five RBI over that span. He has slashed .250/.315/.531 across 73 plate appearances since the beginning of May.

Strider (0-2) took the loss in Tuesday's game against the Nationals, allowing four runs on six hits and one walk while striking out three across 4.1 innings.

Strider was activated from the 15-day injured list ahead of Tuesday's start after missing the last month due to a strained hamstring. He got off to a poor start by yielding three first-inning runs before giving up a fourth run in the second on a Dylan Crews solo homer. Strider has been limited to just two starts this season due to injury and has a 5.79 ERA and 1.39 WHIP across 9.1 innings. He'll look for his first win of the season in his next start, which is lined up for this weekend at home against San Diego.

Finnegan earned the save in Tuesday's 5-3 win over Atlanta, tossing a scoreless ninth inning without a hit, walk or strikeout.

All 10 pitches Finnegan tossed resulted in strikes as he was able to successfully defend the Nationals' two-run lead in the ninth. He's converted on each of his last six save opportunities, and his 15 saves are tied with Andres Munoz and Robert Suarez for most in the majors. Finnegan has a 2.55 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 17:7 K:BB across 17.2 innings this season.

Parker (4-3) earned the win against Atlanta on Tuesday, allowing three runs on six hits and one walk while striking out four across 5.1 innings.

All three runs Parker allowed came in the second inning, starting with a solo homer from Matt Olson followed by back-to-back RBI doubles. Parker bounced back to toss 3.1 scoreless innings, and the Nationals' bullpen kept Atlanta off the board to give the 25-year-old southpaw his first win since April 22. It was a return to form for Parker, who had given up four earned runs or more in each of his last four outings after yielding three runs or fewer in each of his first five starts of the season. He'll look to make it two wins in a row in his next start, tentatively slated for this weekend at home against the Giants.

Sirota is hitting .636 with two home runs and a 15.4 percent strikeout rate in three games since getting promoted from Single-A Rancho Cucamonga to High-A Great Lakes last week.

All told, Sirota is slashing .382/.469/.745 with nine home runs, one steal, a 13.3 percent walk rate and a 21.1 percent strikeout rate in 27 games, primarily at Single-A. Sirota, whom the Dodgers acquired from the Reds this offseason before he played a pro game as part of the return for Gavin Lux, is a little old for the lower levels, as he'll turn 22 in June. He's also been fortunate with a .446 BABIP. However, he's been one of the hottest hitter in the minors and his one steal undersells his potential in that category.

Gomber (shoulder) threw a 30-pitch bullpen session Tuesday, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.

This appears to be the first time Gomber has thrown off a mound since being shut down from his rehab assignment in early April. The left-hander said afterward that his session went well, and the Rockies plan to have him throw a few more bullpens in the near future before having him face live hitters.

Hernandez isn't in the lineup for Tuesday's game against Arizona.

Hernandez went 0-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored during his return from the IL on Monday, and the Dodgers will sit him down Tuesday as he eases his way back into MLB action. While he rests, Michael Conforto, Enrique Hernandez and Andy Pages will start across Los Angeles' outfield.

Chapman isn't in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Royals, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Chapman will get a breather Tuesday after going 0-for-4 with a strikeout in Monday's series opener. He'll be replaced at third base by Casey Schmitt, who will bat seventh against Royals starter Michael Lorenzen.
