Woodruff was diagnosed with a right elbow contusion Thursday, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Woodruff took a line drive off his elbow during his most recent rehab start at Triple-A Nashville on Tuesday. Although it seems he escaped the incident without suffering any structural damage, the Brewers will pause his minor-league assignment while he recovers from his latest setback. The 32-year-old righty began his rehab assignment in mid-April as the final step in his recovery from October 2023 shoulder surgery, but ankle tendinitis and now a bruised elbow have extended his stay on the injured list significantly. Woodruff owns a 2.11 ERA and 1.10 WHIP in 38.1 frames across his nine rehab outings, and it remains unknown when he'll make his season debut for the Brewers.

Naylor was pulled from Thursday's game in Atlanta with an undisclosed injury, Nick Piecoro of The Arizona Republic reports.

Naylor did not appear to suffer an obvious injury, but Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo revealed Wednesday that the first baseman has been playing through shoulder and hand issues. The Diamondbacks should update Naylor's condition soon. Naylor went 1-for-2 with a two-run single before exiting.

Lindor is considered day-to-day after being diagnosed with a fractured right pinkie toe, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.

Lindor suffered the injury when he was hit by a pitch in the first inning of Wednesday's 6-1 win over the Dodgers. He wasn't forced out of that game and will attempt to play through the fracture, although he is not in the lineup for Thursday's contest. The Mets will have Luisangel Acuna start at shortstop in the series finale in Los Angeles.

Young is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Dodgers.

Young had started in each of the Mets' previous three matchups with right-handed pitchers, but he'll hit the bench against righty Landon Knack while Starling Marte replaces him at designated hitter. Since getting called up from Triple-A Syracuse on May 24, Young is batting .167 with two extra-base hits and a 35 percent strikeout rate. He could be at risk of a demotion if he's unable to turn things around quickly.

Muncy is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Mets.

The Dodgers and Mets are wrapping up their series with a day game after a night game, and southpaw David Peterson is on the hill for New York, so the left-handed-hitting Muncy will get the afternoon off. Miguel Rojas will check in at third base in place of Muncy, who went 7-for-19 with five home runs, three walks, 11 RBI and six runs while starting in each of the past five contests.

Diaz is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Giants.

Diaz will rest for Thursday's day game after he went 1-for-4 while catching eight innings of Wednesday's 6-5 loss. Martin Maldonado will spell Diaz behind the plate in the series finale.

Lindor is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Dodgers.

As Anthony DiComo of MLB.com notes, Lindor looked to be in considerable pain after being hit in the foot by a pitch in Wednesday's 6-1 win in the top of the first inning, but he ended up staying in the game while finishing the night 0-for-4 with a run. The Mets haven't indicated that Lindor is still hurting a day later, but the veteran shortstop will nonetheless receive just his second day off of the season in any case. Luisangel Acuna will fill in for Lindor at shortstop.

The Rockies optioned Chivilli to Triple-A Albuquerque on Thursday.

Chivilli had just been recalled Tuesday and did not make an appearance during his most recent stint in the majors. The Rockies will announce a corresponding roster move prior to Friday's game versus the Mets.

The Phillies expect Wheeler (personal) to make his return to the rotation next week, likely during the team's three-game home series versus the Cubs that begins Monday, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

Wheeler was initially lined up to make his 13th start of the season this past Tuesday in Toronto, but he was excused from making the trip to Canada due the forthcoming birth of his child. The Phillies officially placed Wheeler on the paternity list Wednesday, and though he'll have to be activated Saturday after missing the maximum three games, the right-hander won't be asked to pitch during this weekend's series in Pittsburgh. To accommodate for Wheeler's absence from the pitching schedule, the Phillies will go with a bullpen game Friday, while Ranger Suarez and Cristopher Sanchez start the final two contests of the series versus the Pirates.

Bogaerts (shoulder) is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against San Francisco.

Bogaerts exited Wednesday's 6-5 loss early after experiencing soreness in his left shoulder -- the same one he fractured last season. Though he'll stay on the bench for Thursday's afternoon contest, the Padres appear to be viewing Bogaerts as day-to-day heading into this weekend's series in Milwaukee. Jose Iglesias will fill in as San Diego's shortstop Thursday and could continue to start if Bogaerts misses any additional games.
