Collins is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cardinals.

After starting three straight games and going 3-for-11 with a triple and a walk, Collins will give way to Drew Avans in left field. With Jackson Chourio playing center field on a full-time basis since Garrett Mitchell (oblique) landed on the injured list April 26, the Brewers have taken a committee approach to left field, but Collins seems to be manager Pat Murphy's preferred option of late.

Cardinals manager Oliver Marmol said he expects Nootbaar to rejoin the lineup Tuesday versus the White Sox, Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports. "Just meet-us-in-Chicago-type thing," Marmol said. "Take a breather and let's get back on track. He'll find his way out of this."

Before sitting Saturday and Sunday, Nootbaar had gone 1-for-27 with 15 strikeouts -- including the first two four-strikeout games of his career -- over the previous six games, all Cardinals losses. Marmol is hoping that with two days out of the lineup plus Monday's off day, Nootbaar will be ready to reclaim the starting job in left field, though it's less certain if he'll resume leadoff duties right away. Brendan Donovan (toe) will serve as the Cardinals' table setter Sunday in his own return from a four-game absence.

Pages is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cardinals.

Pages will get a breather for the series finale after he started at catcher each of the previous three days. Ivan Herrera -- who had served as the Cardinals' designated hitter in all three of those contests -- will fill in for Pages behind the plate Sunday.

Winn is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Brewers, John Denton of MLB.com reports.

Winn started the previous 35 games but will hit the bench Sunday while in the midst of a 9-for-49 (.184 batting average) slump. Jose Barrero will take over at shortstop and bat ninth versus Milwaukee righty Quinn Priester.

Marte is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rays, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

Marte has been a lineup regular of late and has an .865 OPS through 11 games in June, but he'll take a seat Sunday. Francisco Lindor is resting his legs as the designated hitter while Luisangel Acuna receives a start at shortstop.

The Mets recalled Adcock from Triple-A Syracuse on Sunday.

Adcock will join the bullpen as a replacement for right-hander Justin Garza, who was optioned to Triple-A in a corresponding move. Over 18 appearances with Syracuse this season, Adcock owns a 4.91 ERA, 0.95 WHIP and 21:7 K:BB across 22 innings.

Garza had covered three scoreless innings over the past two days, so he wasn't going to be available for the next game or two. New York opted to swap him off the 26-man roster for Ty Adcock, who was recalled from Syracuse.

The Marlins optioned Veneziano to Triple-A Jacksonville on Sunday.

Veneziano worked 1.1 innings and tossed 49 pitches between a pair of relief appearances the past two days, so he wasn't going to be available Sunday. The Marlins opted to swap him for a fresh bullpen arm in Freddy Tarnok, whose contract was selected from Jacksonville in a corresponding move.

Tarnok had been working primarily in the rotation at Jacksonville while posting a 4.79 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 44:18 K:BB in 41.1 innings over 12 appearances (10 starts). The Marlins are expected to deploy the right-hander out of the bullpen initially, but if he isn't needed over the next few days, he could be a candidate to make a spot start later next week.

Norby is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Nationals.

Norby will take a seat after going 0-for-8 with a walk and an RBI during the first two games of the series in DC. Javier Sanoja will step in at the hot corner and bat seventh Sunday.
