Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said after Sunday's 5-4 win over the Giants that it's a "high possibility" that Ohtani (elbow) makes his Dodgers debut as a pitcher during the team's upcoming four-game series against the Padres that begins Monday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports. Ohtani served as the Dodgers' designated hitter Sunday and went 3-for-3 with a walk and two runs.

Earlier Sunday, Roberts told Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register that Ohtani would throw another live batting practice session this week before potentially pitching in a game, but the skipper has apparently seen enough from the 30-year-old to turn him loose. Ohtani's last appearance as a pitcher came in August 2023 with the Angels before he underwent Tommy John surgery a month later, but he's finally ready to be a two-way player again. Considering that Ohtani built up to 44 pitches in his most recent live BP outing, he won't be stretched out enough to serve as a traditional starter, so he's expected to operate as more of an opener at first. Ohtani is likely to get gradually stretched out over a series of appearances before he would be able to handle a five-inning workload.

Tarnok pitched a scoreless inning and earned a save over Washington on Sunday.

Tarnok was promoted from Triple-A Jacksonville on Sunday and earned a save in his Marlins debut. It was his first MLB appearance since 2023. Tarnok hit Jose Tena but finished off the 3-1 win by forcing Alex Call to ground into a double play. Calvin Faucher pitched Friday and Saturday and was not used during Sunday's win.

Gore (3-6) allowed two runs on eight hits and a walk over six innings Sunday, striking out five and taking a loss.

Gore delivered his fifth straight quality start despite not having a very efficient outing. He gave up a run in each of the first two innings before settling in for four scoreless frames. Washington scored just one run, leading to Gore's first loss since May 23. Since being chased in the fourth inning against the Orioles on May 16, he's produced a 1.45 ERA with a 35:5 K:BB across 31 frames. Gore owns an impressive 2.89 ERA and 119:23 K:BB for the season. His next start is projected to be a tough road matchup against the Dodgers.

Perez did not factor in the decision during Sunday's win over Washington. He allowed a run on four hits and three walks over four innings and did not record a strikeout.

Perez gave up a run in the first inning and worked around some traffic to prevent the Nationals from scoring again. He failed to strike out a batter after recording five over three frames in his season debut against the Pirates. Perez threw 52 of 79 pitches for strikes but still issued three free passes. He'll carry a 6.43 ERA into his next start, which is projected to be at home against Atlanta.

Castellanos went 1-for-5 with a grand slam in Sunday's win over the Blue Jays.

Castellanos ripped a grand slam in the sixth inning for his first homer since June 1. He has seven long balls this year but just three over his last 36 contests. Castellanos is slashing .279/.322/.428 with 36 RBI through 292 plate appearances.

Bohm went 2-for-3 with a home run, three RBI, two runs scored and two walks in Sunday's win over Toronto.

Bohm knocked an RBI single in the third inning before belting a two-run shot in the fifth. He's gone deep twice over his last four games after a nine-game drought. Bohm posted a .526 OPS through the end of April but is now slashing .283/.322/.404 and has five multi-hit performances in his last 12 games.

Kemp went 4-for-5 with three runs scored, two RBI and a stolen base in Sunday's win over Toronto.

Kemp singled four times Sunday, including a two-run base hit in the fourth inning. He picked up his first career steal and has produced three multi-hit performances over his last six games. Kemp was one of six Phillies with multiple hits in the victory. The 25-year-old rookie is slashing .345/.387/.379 through his first 31 plate appearances.

The Giants selected Lucchesi's contract from Triple-A Sacramento on Sunday, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Lucchesi was a last-minute addition to San Francisco's major-league roster ahead of Sunday's contest against the Dodgers. With the Giants trading away Sunday's scheduled starter (Kyle Harrison) plus three other players to the Red Sox in exchange for Rafael Devers prior to the game, Lucchesi filled the spots vacated by Harrison on the 40-man roster and 26-man active roster. Sean Hjelle will serve as the Giants' opening pitcher for Sunday's game, but Lucchesi could be called upon to cover multiple innings out of the bullpen once Hjelle exits. Lucchesi has previously started in 77 of his 81 appearances in the majors, but he's worked exclusively in relief with Sacramento in 2025, logging a 3.23 ERA, 0.99 WHIP and 31:8 K:BB in 30.2 innings.

Turner went 2-for-5 with a double and a run scored Sunday's 11-4 victory over Toronto.

It was the fourth multi-game of the month so far for Turner, who rapped his eighth extra-base hit of June. The All-Star shortstop has been a force atop the Phillies' lineup -- he's slashing .311/.374/.553 with 14 extra-base knocks, 16 RBI, 20 runs scored and nine stolen bases over his last 115 plate appearances (25 games). Turner has nine multi-hit efforts during that stretch, and he's recorded at least one hit in 19 of those contests.

Romano allowed one walk and no hits in one inning of relief during Sunday's 11-4 victory over Toronto. He struck out one.

Romano's usage is worth noting -- he worked the eighth inning of an 11-4 game after being bypassed in favor of Matt Strahm for a save opportunity in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Blue Jays. Philadelphia's bullpen pecking order has been in a state of flux for most of the season, and it appears Romano's stock in fantasy is beginning to drop. Although it may be hasty to declare a definitive shift in the Phillies' closer role, the right-hander has struggled with a 7.71 ERA, 2.29 WHIP and 10:6 K:BB over his last seven innings.
