Josh Naylor 1B | SEA
Diamondbacks' Josh Naylor: Swats homer No. 10
Naylor went 2-for-3 with a walk and a two-run home run in Wednesday's 7-3 loss to the White Sox.
The first baseman missed one game due to a shoulder issue but returned Wednesday and gave Arizona a quick 2-0 lead by taking Sean Burke deep in the first inning, but it didn't last long. The homer was Naylor's 10th of the season, and three of them have come in June -- a month in which he's batting .324 (23-for-71) with 12 runs and 16 RBI in 20 contests.

Eric Wagaman 1B | NYM
Marlins' Eric Wagaman: Sitting down Wednesday
Wagaman isn't in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Giants.
Wagaman extended his hitting streak to seven games Tuesday with a double, but he'll take a seat Wednesday. Liam Hicks will instead start at first base, opening a spot in the lineup for Heriberto Hernandez to serve as the DH.

Zac Gallen SP | ARI
Diamondbacks' Zac Gallen: Struggles continue Wednesday
Gallen (5-9) took the loss Wednesday as the Diamondbacks fell 7-3 to the White Sox, coughing up five runs on eight hits and a walk over 5.1 innings. He struck out two.
Homers by Andrew Benintendi in the first inning and Lenyn Sosa in the fourth accounted for most of the damage off Gallen. The right-hander has served up nine long balls in his last five starts and been tagged for at least four earned runs in eight of his last nine trips to the mound, a brutal stretch in which he's posted a 6.97 ERA, 1.59 WHIP and 39:21 K:BB in 51.2 innings. Gallen will try to right the ship in his next outing, which lines up to come at home early next week against the Giants.

MacKenzie Gore SP | TEX
Nationals' MacKenzie Gore: Drops pitchers' duel
Gore (3-8) took the loss Wednesday against the Padres, allowing one run on five hits and three walks over six innings. He struck out six.
Gore was sharp, holding San Diego to a lone second-inning run, though the Nats couldn't generate any support against Nick Pivetta in an eventual 1-0 defeat. It's the third straight loss for Gore, who's failed to strike out more than six batters in any of his last four outings. His ERA stands at 3.09 through 17 starts (99 innings) this season with a 1.20 WHIP, and his 129 strikeouts are still good for the second most in the majors. Gore is currently scheduled to face the Tigers at home in his next outing.

Adrian Morejon RP | SD
Padres' Adrian Morejon: Grabs save Wednesday
Morejon earned the save in Wednesday's 1-0 win over the Nationals, striking out one in a perfect ninth inning.
With Robert Suarez serving a suspension, the Padres turned to Morejon in the ninth inning Wednesday to close out a one-run victory. The left-hander made quick work of the Nats, retiring the side on just seven pitches, to earn his second save this season. Morejon has been dominant of late, allowing just one unearned run in his last 15.2 innings -- he's given up three hits while striking out 17 in that span. His ERA is down to 2.04 with a 0.82 WHIP and 33:6 K:BB across 35.1 innings this season. However, with Suarez eligible to return Saturday, Morejon figures to remain in a setup role moving forward.

Nick Pivetta RP | SD
Padres' Nick Pivetta: Stellar in eighth win
Pivetta (8-2) struck out 10 and earned the win Wednesday over the Nationals, allowing just three hits and no walks over seven scoreless innings.
It was quite a bounce-back performance from Pivetta after he was tagged for four runs in just 4.2 innings against Kansas City in his last outing. The right-hander matched a season high with 10 strikeouts while delivering at least seven scoreless innings for the fourth time this year. Pivetta lowered his ERA to 3.36 on the season with a 1.03 WHIP and 101:24 K:BB across 16 starts (91 innings). He's currently lined up for a tough road matchup with the Phillies in his next outing.

Carson Kelly C | CHC
Cubs' Carson Kelly: Not in Wednesday's lineup
Kelly is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Cardinals.
Kelly has gone 5-for-12 with a double and two RBI over his past five contests, though he has a .200/.250/.244 slash line through 45 at-bats in June. Reese McGuire will receive another start behind the plate Wednesday for the Cubs.
-
Ryan Ritter 2B | COL
Rockies' Ryan Ritter: Absent from lineup
Ritter is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Dodgers.
Since his promotion from Triple-A Albuquerque on June 6, Ritter has been serving as the Rockies' primary shortstop while Ezequiel Tovar (oblique) has been on the shelf. Through his first 60 big-league plate appearances, Ritter has slashed .222/.271/.333 with two doubles, two triples and six RBI. After a stretch of 10 consecutive starts, Ritter will begin Wednesday's contest on the bench while Orlando Arcia gets the nod at shortstop and bats eighth.

Brenton Doyle CF | COL
Rockies' Brenton Doyle: Not starting Wednesday
Doyle is not in the Rockies' starting lineup against the Dodgers on Wednesday.
Doyle went 0-for-5 with three strikeouts in Tuesday's 9-7 loss to the Dodgers, and he has struggled to a .391 OPS with two steals and four RBI across 82 plate appearances in June. He'll begin Wednesday's game on the bench while Sam Hilliard starts in center field and bats ninth.

Jake Fraley RF | TB
Reds' Jake Fraley: Managing shoulder issue
Fraley is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Yankees due to a banged-up shoulder, Charlie Goldsmith of Fox 19 Now Cincinnati reports.
It's the second straight game on the bench for Fraley, though he likely would have sat for both contests regardless of the injuries since Cincinnati is facing a second consecutive lefty (Max Fried) on Wednesday. The outfielder will have Thursday's team off day to aid in his recovery ahead of Friday's series opener versus San Diego.
