Turner was removed from Sunday's game against the Marlins due to a right hamstring strain, Scott Lauber of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

The veteran shortstop suffered the injury during the seventh inning while running to first base, and he exited the contest after reaching on an error. Turner went 1-for-4 with a solo home run prior to departing, but his availability for the playoff push is now in question due to the injury.

Del Castillo is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Red Sox.

Del Castillo had started in each of the Diamondbacks' previous three matchups with right-handed pitchers, but he'll hit the bench Sunday against the Red Sox's Brayan Bello. With Del Castillo taking a seat, Ketel Marte will serve as Arizona's designated hitter, which opens up a spot in the infield for Jordan Lawlar.

Wentz (5-6) took the loss Sunday against the Mariners, allowing eight runs on eight hits and a walk across 2.1 innings. He struck out two.

It was a rough day for Wentz, who's now given up 19 runs in just 16.1 innings over his last four starts. Overall, the left-hander sports a 5.12 ERA with a 1.31 WHIP and 49 strikeouts across 51 innings with Atlanta this year. Wentz will look to get on track in his next outing, tentatively scheduled to come next week at home against the Astros.

Iglesias is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rockies.

Iglesias will hit the bench while Jake Cronenworth shifts over from shortstop to make his first start at shortstop since the 2022 season. With Xander Bogaerts (foot) out indefinitely, the Padres could prioritize offense over defense by phasing out Iglesias and leaning more heavily on Cronenworth and Luis Arraez in the middle infield, which would open up a regular spot in the lineup for the hot-hitting Gavin Sheets. Iglesias had already sat out the Padres' previous two matchups against right-handed starters, though San Diego went with Mason McCoy rather than Cronenworth at shortstop in both of those contests.

Karros is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Padres.

Karros will hit the bench for the first time since Aug. 21, ending a streak of 14 consecutive starts during which he slashed .235/.273/.255 with no home runs, no steals, five runs and two RBI. Orlando Arcia will cover third base while Karros rests Sunday.

Ritter is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Padres.

After going 4-for-20 with a 0:8 K:BB while starting in six of the last seven games, Ritter will hit the bench Sunday. Tyler Freeman will cover second base in Ritter's stead.

Goodman is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Padres.

Goodman will get a chance to rest in the series finale after he had started at either catcher or designated hitter in each of the Rockies' previous five contests. Braxton Fulford will get a turn behind the plate Sunday, while Brenton Doyle gets a day off from playing center field as the DH.

Busch is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Nationals.

With lefty Andrew Alvarez on the hill for Washington, Busch will retreat to the bench. Carlos Santana will fill in for Busch at first base and bat fifth.

Bell is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cubs.

Bell will get a breather for the series finale after he went 1-for-16 with a double, two walks and one run while starting in each of the previous five contests. Andres Chaparro will replace Bell at first base Sunday and bat fifth.

Scott is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Giants.

Scott will hit the bench for the series finale after he had manned center field in the previous four contests while going 3-for-10 with a walk, an RBI and a run scored. Nathan Church will check in for Scott in the outfield and bat eighth.
