Tommy Edman 2B | LAD
Dodgers' Tommy Edman: Officially placed on IL
Edman (ankle) was placed on the 10-day injured list by the Dodgers on Monday, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.
Edman will head to the IL, as expected, after suffering a sprained right ankle during Sunday's 3-0 win over the Rays. The had previously tweaked his ankle last week, but this time around it was more serious. He'll be forced to miss at least 10 days, and in a corresponding move, Max Muncy (knee) was activated from the 10-day IL on Monday.

Juan Mejia RP | COL
Rockies' Juan Mejia: In mix for saves
Rockies interim manager Warren Schaeffer said Sunday that Mejia and Victor Vodnik will share the closer job while Seth Halvorsen is on the 15-day injured list, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.
Schaeffer added that Jimmy Herget will also factor into the late-inning mix, though he's more likely to serve as a setup man, whereas Vodnik and Mejia should be the top options for saves. Mejia has pitched well in his first major-league season, collecting a 4.05 ERA (3.38 FIP) and 43:13 K:BB across 40 relief innings. The 25-year-old has yet to record a save at the major-league level, but he's been seeing more high-leverage work, notching four holds over his last nine appearances. While Mejia is a talented reliever, the odds are against him being a steady source of saves in Colorado.

Victor Vodnik RP | COL
Rockies' Victor Vodnik: Will share closer duties with Mejia
Rockies interim manager Warren Schaeffer said Sunday that Vodnik and Juan Mejia will share closer duties while Seth Halvorsen (elbow) is on the 15-day injured list, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.
Vodnik has registered two saves this season, posting a 3.55 ERA and 34:20 K:BB over 33 innings along the way. While the right-hander has a big arm and is a groundball pitcher, a 1.55 WHIP and 13.8 percent walk rate portend to trouble. Halvorsen could miss several weeks with a mild right flexor strain, but the Rockies' closer situation is likely to remain difficult to depend on for fantasy purposes.

Ryan O'Hearn RF | PIT
Padres' Ryan O'Hearn: Sitting Monday
O'Hearn is not in the Padres' starting lineup against the Diamondbacks on Monday.
Even with the Diamondbacks sending right-hander Brandon Pfaadt to the mound, the left-hitting O'Hearn will begin Monday's game on the bench, with Luis Arraez starting at first base and Gavin Sheets serving as the designated hitter. O'Hearn has gone 1-for-8 in his first three games with the Padres.

Luken Baker 1B | ARI
Dodgers' Luken Baker: Goes to Dodgers via waivers
The Dodgers claimed Baker off waivers from the Cardinals on Monday.
Baker slugged 35 home runs between Triple-A and the majors in 2023 and another 34 long balls between the two levels in 2024. He's hit just .196/.309/.397 with 10 home runs with Memphis in 2025, however, and has slashed only .206/.317/.338 during his time in the majors. Baker will report to Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Jared Triolo SS | PIT
Pirates' Jared Triolo: Absent from Monday's lineup
Triolo is not in the Pirates' starting lineup for Monday's game against the Giants.
Triolo started in each of the Pirates' last three games after being promoted from Triple-A Indianapolis on Friday and went 2-for-10 with four runs scored and one RBI. He'll be on the bench for Monday's series opener while Isiah Kiner-Falefa starts at the hot corner and Liover Peguero covers shortstop.

Caleb Durbin 3B | BOS
Brewers' Caleb Durbin: On bench for third straight game
Durbin is out of the lineup for Monday's game against Atlanta.
The rookie will stay on the bench for the third straight game, but he appears to be fully healthy, as he played the final four innings of Sunday's 14-3 win over Washington while going 2-for-2 with a stolen base, two runs and an RBI. Though manager Pat Murphy hasn't shed much light on Durbin's recent string of absences from the lineup, the expectation is that the 25-year-old will see the lion's share of the starts at the hot corner moving forward. Anthony Seigler will replace Durbin in the lineup once again Monday, but Seigler hasn't helped his case for earning extended playing time by slashing .188/.250/.188 through his first 36 big-league plate appearances.

Bryan Reynolds LF | PIT
Pirates' Bryan Reynolds: Excluded from lineup
Reynolds is out of the lineup Monday against the Giants.
Reynolds will head to the bench for the series opener while the Pirates go with Jack Suwinski in right field. In 14 games since the All-Star break, Reynolds has been efficient at the dish, batting 18-for-59 (.305 average) with six doubles and six RBI.

Anthony Veneziano RP | TEX
Cardinals' Anthony Veneziano: Claimed off waivers by Cardinals
The Cardinals claimed Veneziano off waivers from the Marlins on Monday.
Veneziano has made 24 relief appearances in the majors this season, collecting a 4.71 ERA and 20:10 K:BB over 21 innings. He will report to Triple-A Memphis, where he will provide St. Louis with some experienced left-handed relief depth.
