  • Jon Berti 3B | CHC

Marlins' Jon Berti: Keeps running Wednesday

Berti went 0-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base in Wednesday's extra-inning win over the Phillies.

The 33-year-old utility player didn't steal a base in his first eight games of the season, but Berti has now gone 3-for-3 on the basepaths in the last four contests. His .231 batting average (9-for-39) isn't impressive, and he has only one homer, two RBI and five runs in 12 games, but he can make a big impact in stolen bases for fantasy GMs that can afford to roster a fairly one-dimensional player.

  • Mets' Francisco Lindor: Swats second homer

Lindor went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's win over the Padres.

The shortstop took Blake Snell deep in the third inning, tying the game at 2-2. Lindor has hit safely in six of the last seven games, and on the season he's slashing .227/.364/.455 with two homers, one steal, eight runs and eight RBI.

  • Miguel Rojas 2B | LAD

Dodgers' Miguel Rojas: Dealing with hamstring cramp

Rojas left Wednesday's game against San Francisco due to a cramp in his left hamstring.

After recently coming back from a left groin injury, Rojas is now battling issues with his hamstring. No word yet on how long it'll keep him out, but the Dodgers will likely approach it on a day-to-day basis.

Dodgers' Miguel Rojas: Exits with leg injury

Rojas was pulled from Wednesday's game against the Giants due to a leg issue, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Rojas appeared to be dealing with cramps in his left leg before being removed from the game. Rojas had just recovered from a left groin injury that forced him to miss most of last week, so there's a chance he aggravated it. Chris Taylor will come into the game to replace him.

  • Orlando Arcia SS | MIN

Braves' Orlando Arcia: Doesn't expect IL stint

Arcia said he doesn't expect to be placed on the injured list after taking a pitch to the wrist Wednesday, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

X-rays on Arcia's left wrist came back negative, but manager Brian Snitker said the team will keep checking in on him over the next few days. Atlanta has an off day Thursday, so if Arcia is feeling better by Friday, perhaps he could still play against the Royals.

Braves' Orlando Arcia: X-rays come back negative

X-rays on Arcia's left wrist came back negative for a fracture.

It appears that Atlanta has managed to avoid the worst, though it's still possible Arcia is forced to miss time after taking a pitch to the wrist. If he does have to sit out a few games, Ehire Adrianza figures to get a few more starts at shortstop.

Braves' Orlando Arcia: Exits with injury

Arcia was removed from Wednesday's game against the Reds after taking a pitch to the wrist, Bobby Nightengale of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

After getting hit on the wrist by a 98-mph fastball, Arcia initially stayed in the game to run the bases, but he was eventually replaced by Ehire Adrianza in the third inning. The team will take a look at Arcia's wrist and will likely provide an update relatively soon.

  • Giants' Brandon Crawford: Takes seat against lefty

Crawford is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Dodgers, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Crawford will take a seat against southpaw Clayton Kershaw and the Dodgers for Wednesday's contest. With the veteran infielder out of action, San Francisco will turn to Thairo Estrada as the starting shortstop, with David Villar serving as his double-play partner at second base while hitting sixth.

  • Jose Barrero SS | BAL

Reds' Jose Barrero: Gaining traction in everyday role

Barrero will start at shortstop and bat seventh in Wednesday's game versus Atlanta.

After going 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and an additional RBI in Tuesday's 7-6 loss, Barrero will stick in the lineup for the third game in a row. At least for the time being, Barrero appears to have wrested the primary shortstop job away from Kevin Newman.

  • Andrew Pintar CF | MIA

Diamondbacks' Andrew Pintar: Healthy to open 2023 campaign

Pintar (shoulder) has appeared in four games with Single-A Visalia so far this season and has gone 2-for-14 with a walk.

Pintar, whom the Diamondbacks selected with the No. 138 overall pick in the 2022 First-Year Player Draft, didn't make his professional debut last summer while he recovered from the shoulder surgery he underwent earlier that year in March. Now more than a year removed from the procedure, Pintar is seemingly healthy again, given that the Diamondbacks chose not to have him stick around at extended spring training.
