Velazquez was sent to Triple-A Durham on Thursday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Velazquez appeared in just eight games during his most recent stint with the Rays, going 1-for-11 with a double and six strikeouts during those appearances. Christian Arroyo was recalled from Durham to take his place on the roster.

Adames went 1-for-5 with a game-winning RBI single and a walk in an extra-innings victory over the Blue Jays on Wednesday.

Adames' single to deep center with the bases loaded in the 11th won the game for the Rays and produced his first RBI over the last six games. Adames' .237 season average still has plenty of room for improvement, but he's been markedly better with the bat this month while raising that figure a total of 37 points since the calendar flipped to May.

Anderson went 1-for-3 with a double and was hit by a pitch in Wednesday's 8-7 win over the Royals.

Anderson, who returned to the lineup after missing four games with a wrist injury, was hit with a changeup off the helmet on the second pitch he saw, prompting the ejection of Kansas City pitcher Glenn Sparkman. The ejection appears to be related to the recent history between the White Sox and Royals, who emptied their benches April 17 after a series of incidents involving Anderson. The shortstop later knocked in the game-winning run with an eighth-inning double.

Bogaerts went 2-for-4 with a walk, a two-run home run and two runs scored Wednesday against the Indians.

Bogaerts took A.J. Cole deep in the eighth inning for his 10th home run of the season. He's been very productive at the plate of late, with this effort marking his sixth multi-hit game in his past 10 starts. In that same span, he's driven in 11 runs while also scoring 10 runs. He's gotten on base consistently this season, hitting .293/.381/.514 across 239 plate appearances.

Gordon (wrist) will resume baseball activities Thursday but is expected to be sidelined beyond the minimum 10 days, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports.

Gordon would be eligible for activation Friday, but given that he's just resuming baseball-related work a day prior, he'll be sidelined for some time beyond that. Gordon's injury has been characterized as a deep bone bruise, which typically carries a multi-week recovery timeline.

Diaz (hamstring) ran on the field prior to Wednesday's game against the Cubs, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

This is certainly a step in the right direction for Diaz, who has been sidelined since Monday with a strained hamstring. He'll be eligible to return from the injured list June 6, though it remains to be seen if he'll be back to full health by then.

Anderson (wrist) is back in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Royals.

Anderson missed four straight starts after getting hit in the wrist by a pitch Friday, though he did appear once as a pinch runner. He hit .375/.412/.521 in the 13 games prior to suffering the injury.

Crawford (ankle) was placed on the 10-day injured list Wednesday, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

This was expected after Crawford exited Tuesday's game with a left ankle sprain. The Mariners have yet to offer up a timetable for his return, though manager Scott Servais said earlier Wednesday that the sprain isn't considered severe and the hope is that Crawford will be ready to return in a few weeks. Dylan Moore was recalled from Triple-A Tacoma in a corresponding move, while Tim Beckham figures to fill in at shortstop until Crawford is back.

Manager Scott Servais confirmed Crawford is dealing with a sprained left ankle, Shannon Drayer of 710 ESPN Seattle reports.

Servais added that the sprain isn't a bad one, which is good news after the shortstop "severely" rolled his ankle in a rundown Tuesday and had to be helped off the field. Crawford is expected to land on the 10-day injured list due to the injury, though the hope is that his absence will only last a few weeks. Look for Tim Beckham to return to an everyday role at shortstop while Crawford is on the shelf.

Correa will be sidelined 4-to-6 weeks with a cracked rib, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.

It was originally thought that Correa's cracked rib would force the shortstop to miss 3-to-4 weeks, but after placing him on the injured list Wednesday, the Astros confirmed Correa would miss at least the next month and could ultimately remain sidelined through the All-Star break. Myles Straw was recalled from Triple-A Round Rock in a corresponding move, while Alex Bregman and Jack Mayfield figure to fill in at shortstop while Correa is on the mend.
