Flores went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run, an additional run scored and a walk in Thursday's 16-6 win over the White Sox.

Flores hasn't had steady playing time so far, as the Giants have enjoyed relatively good health in the infield. He got the start at first base over LaMonte Wade on Thursday, even with righty Lance Lynn on the mound. Flores has made the most of his opportunities, going 4-for-11 with three walks and two extra-base hits in his limited action across four games this season.

Freeman went 2-for-5 with a solo home run, a double and an additional run in Thursday's 5-2 victory versus Arizona.

Freeman has reached base in all but one of the Dodgers' seven games this season, but prior to Thursday he had notched just one extra-base hit. The star first baseman changed that trajectory against Arizona, hitting a double in the third inning and his first homer of the year in the seventh. Freeman surprisingly has just one RBI on the campaign despite a standout .385/.500/.577 slash line.

Cronenworth went 1-for-2 with a solo home run, two walks and three total runs Thursday in a loss to Atlanta.

Cronenworth reached base three times in the contest and scored half of San Diego's runs. He temporarily tied the score with a solo homer in the sixth inning for his first long ball and first RBI of the campaign. Cronenworth is slashing .217/.333/.435 through 27 plate appearances this season.

France went 1-for-3 with an RBI double, a walk and a run in a loss to the Angels on Wednesday.

France's seventh-inning two-bagger plated Sam Haggerty to put the Mariners within two runs of the Angels at the time. The 28-year-old first baseman has opened the season in a manner reminiscent of last year's stellar first half, as he's reached safely in six of his first seven games on his way to a .357 average and .419 on-base percentage (31 plate appearances).

Noda went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in an extra-inning loss to the Guardians on Wednesday.

The rookie had clocked his first career extra-base hit Monday in the form of a double, and Noda followed it up Wednesday with 385-foot shot to right center in the eighth inning that put the Athletics on the board. The Rule 5 draft selection has validated Oakland's decision to hang onto him after Cactus League play, reaching safely in each of his first three starts.

White is expected to be sidelined two months after suffering a Grade 2 groin strain while playing at Triple-A Toledo, Ryan Divish of the Seattle Times reports.

White has been snakebit by injuries, having missed most of the last two seasons with a hip injury and sports hernia surgery. Even when healthy, there doesn't appear to be a fit for White on the major-league club.

Flores is starting at first base and batting second Thursday against the White Sox.

It's just the second start of the season for Flores, the first of which came on Opening Day, and he appears to be stuck in a short-side platoon on the Giants' infield. He's racked up a couple of hits and two runs scored off the bench.

Voit went 2-for-4 with a run and a stolen base in Wednesday's victory over the Mets.

Voit picked up his first two hits of the season, and he also recorded only the second steal of his seven-year big-league career. While that benefited anyone who had him in a fantasy lineup Wednesday, it's unlikely that the slugger will add speed to his resume at 32 years old, particularly with him occupying a part-time role for the Brewers.

Pratto is starting in right field and batting eighth for the Royals in Thursday's game versus the Blue Jays.

The 24-year-old has now started both games -- one in left field and one in right -- since his recall to replace Kyle Isbel (paternity) on the big-league roster. Pratto might not have long to make a good impression before Isbel returns, though none of the Royals' outfield options are looking worthy of playing time right now.

Guerrero went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in a 3-0 win against Kansas City on Wednesday.

The Blue Jays clung to a narrow 1-0 lead through seven innings before Guerrero gave the team a little breathing room with his 389-foot solo shot in the eighth. The slugger managed two other hits in the contest, and he's now reached base in all six of the Blue Jays' contests to start the campaign. Guerrero is rolling right along as one of the league's top hitters in 2023, slashing .364/.483/.545 with five RBI and a stolen base through 29 plate appearances.
