Larson (elbow) has allowed four unearned runs on three hits and one walk while striking out five over 2.2 innings through his first two starts in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League.

The pair of appearances are Larson's first in the professional ranks, as the 20-year-old lefty didn't pitch after being drafted out of high school in 2024, then missed the entire 2025 campaign after undergoing Tommy John surgery in February of that year. Prior to undergoing surgery, Larson's fastball sat around 93-to-94 mph, but velocity readings from his two starts in the ACL haven't been made available.

Jones did not factor into the decision Thursday against the Phillies, allowing a run on two hits and two walks over four innings. He struck out six.

Jones threw 73 pitches as he continues to build up his workload after missing the majority of the 2025 campaign following UCL surgery. It was an encouraging outing overall for Jones, who had given up 12 runs (11 earned) across 15.2 innings in his previous four starts. The 24-year-old right-hander will carry a 5.28 ERA, 1.38 WHIP and 31:11 K:BB into his next start, currently scheduled to come next week at home against Atlanta.

The Giants outrighted Ramos to Triple-A Sacramento on Thursday.

Ramos was recently designated for assignment and will remain in the organization after passing through waivers unclaimed. The 25-year-old has allowed five runs with a 1:4 K:BB in his two innings with the Giants this season and has posted a 4.13 ERA and 32:12 K:BB in 32.2 frames with Sacramento.

Adams (elbow) has posted a 5.74 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 18:5 K:BB in 15.2 innings over four starts with Triple-A Charlotte since being assigned to the affiliate after being activated from Double-A Birmingham's 60-day injured list June 11.

Adams made a fairly swift recovery from Tommy John surgery, which he underwent April 2, 2025. He kicked off a rehab assignment just over 13 months after surgery, making five appearances between the rookie-level Arizona Complex League and High-A Winston-Salem before joining the Charlotte rotation. The 26-year-old righty is regarded as one of the White Sox's better upper-level starting pitching prospects, but he's not on the 40-man roster and is likely behind a few other arms in the pecking order for a call-up to the big club.

Gonzalez (lat) tossed a scoreless inning of relief Tuesday for Triple-A Charlotte after being reinstated from the 7-day injured list.

Gonzalez made his return to the Charlotte bullpen for the first time since late April after being shelved due to a right lat strain. The 24-year-old righty compiled a 6.75 ERA, 0.94 WHIP and 8:1 K:BB in 5.1 innings over four rehab appearances between the White Sox's rookie-level Arizona Complex League affiliate and High-A Winston-Salem prior to returning from the IL.

Romero leads all of baseball with 20 holds this season.

While the left-handed reliever has been valuable for leagues that have holds as a category, he's trended in the wrong direction since the beginning of June in yielding eight runs over 10.1 innings. Romero is the only trusted lefty reliever the Cardinals have, so he should continue to stay busy, though the impending free agent will be a trade candidate this month.

Smith (shoulder) struck out two and allowed one hit and no walks over two innings Wednesday in a rehab start with High-A Winston-Salem.

An All-Star selection for the White Sox as a rookie Rule 5 Draft pick in 2025, Smith surrendered 10 earned runs over 8.2 innings over his first three starts this season before Chicago optioned him to Triple-A Charlotte on April 8. After making four starts for Charlotte, Smith was shelved May 2 due to a right rotator cuff strain, but he's closing in on a return to the Triple-A rotation nearly two months later. Smith could make another rehab start or two in the lower levels of the minors before Charlotte activates him.

Rodriguez (shoulder) struck out a batter and allowed three earned runs on two hits and one walk across 1.1 innings Wednesday in a rehab start for the Brewers' rookie-level Arizona Complex League affiiate.

Milwaukee optioned Rodriguez to Triple-A Nashville on May 31, but he didn't make an appearance in the minors before reverting to the Brewers' injured list June 8 after being diagnosed with a right shoulder impingement. While pitching in his first game in a month Wednesday, Rodriguez retired just four of the eight batters he faced. He'll likely get stretched out as a starter over the course of his rehab assignment but is expected to be optioned to Nashville once the Brewers are ready to activate him from the 15-day IL.

Shewmake (adductor) has gone 3-for-9 with two doubles, three walks, one stolen base, three runs and one RBI over three rehab games between the rookie-level Florida Complex League and Triple-A Sugar Land.

Shewmake began the minor-league assignment Saturday, appearing in two games in the FCL before moving to Triple-A on Wednesday. The 28-year-old is working his way back from a right adductor strain, which sent him to the injured list June 2. Once he's ready to rejoin Houston, Shewmake is likely to serve as a utility infielder.

Estevez (shoulder) received an injection Wednesday and will be shut down for the rest of the week before being re-evaluated, MLB.com reports.

Estevez had been making progress in recovery from a right rotator cuff strain, but he suffered a setback during Saturday's bullpen session. The Royals will allow the right-hander to rest following the injection before re-evaluating him and determining the next steps. Estevez made just one appearance this season before landing on the injured list due to a left foot contusion, eventually picking up the shoulder injury during a rehab appearance May 6.
