Hernandez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's win over the Red Sox.
Hernandez took Kutter Crawford deep to right in the third inning to put the Dodgers up 3-2. He's hit at least 20 home runs in every year since 2018, excluding the shortened pandemic season in 2020. Hernandez is also working on an eight-game hit streak and has been red hot at the plate for all of July, slashing .339/.400/.508 with two homers, nine RBI and five runs in 65 plate appearances this month.

Michael Harris II CF | ATL
Braves' Michael Harris: Not doing sprints yet
Harris (hamstring) has yet to progress to sprinting, Grant McAuley of 929 The Game reports.
Harris feels good as he works his way back from a left hamstring strain but is following doctor's orders as he slowly ramps things back up. He will need to show he's able to run at full speed before being cleared for a rehab assignment, and it's uncertain when that might happen. At the very least, Harris will remain out until early August.

Gavin Lux SS | TB
Dodgers' Gavin Lux: Another strong performance Sunday
Lux went 3-for-4 with a solo homer, a double, a steal, two RBI and two runs scored in Sunday's win over the Red Sox.
Lux began his night with an RBI double in the first inning and then added a solo shot in the fourth, extending his extra-base streak to four straight at-bats with two doubles and two long balls. Over his last seven games, the 26-year-old is slashing .429/.455/.952 and has raised his OPS above .600 for the first time all season. Lux is slashing .225/.276/.333 with five homers, 27 RBI, 31 runs and a 19:60 BB:K in 286 plate appearances.

Freddie Freeman 1B | LAD
Dodgers' Freddie Freeman: Homers in Sunday's win
Freeman went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 9-6 win over the Red Sox.
Freeman crushed a first-pitch fastball from Kutter Crawford to right-center field to get the Dodgers on the board in the first inning. He now has three homers in his last six games and is up to 16 for the year. Freeman is one of three hitters in the majors with a strikeout rate below 15.0 percent and an ISO greater than .200. The 34-year-old is slashing .292/.305/.503 with 66 RBI, 61 runs and a 58:66 BB:K in 438 plate appearances this year.

James Paxton SP | BOS
Dodgers' James Paxton: Time in L.A. coming to end
The Dodgers are expected to designate Paxton for assignment Monday, Robert Murray of FanSided.com reports.
Look for the Dodgers to make the transaction shortly before Monday's game against the Giants, with right-hander River Ryan set to be added to the 40-man roster ahead of what would be his MLB debut. Along with the addition of Ryan, the Dodgers are set to get Tyler Glasnow (back) and Clayton Kershaw (shoulder) back from the injured list later this week, leaving no room in the rotation for Paxton. Though he has a lengthy injury history, the southpaw hasn't missed a start this season, but his performance has taken a step backward in his age-35 campaign. While he's kept his fantasy value afloat by picking up eight wins in 18 outings, Paxton has supported the win total with a middling 4.43 ERA and 1.46 WHIP, and he's seen his strikeout rate drop precipitously (career-worst 16.4 percent). If the Dodgers aren't able to find a taker for Paxton via trade or waivers, expect him to become a free agent and catch on with another organization on a low-cost, one-year deal.

Shohei Ohtani DH | LAD
Dodgers' Shohei Ohtani: Reaches 30 homers
Ohtani went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Sunday's win over the Red Sox.
Ohtani was one of five Dodgers who went yard against Kutter Crawford. His fifth-inning blast traveled 473 feet, the second-longest home run ever recorded at Dodger Stadium, and he has seven homers of at least 450 feet this year. Ohtani leads the National League with 30 home runs and has reached that mark in four consecutive seasons. He's slashing .315/.401/.638 with 70 RBI, 78 runs, 23 steals and a 54:97 BB:K in 441 plate appearances.

Geraldo Perdomo SS | ARI
Diamondbacks' Geraldo Perdomo: Getting rest Monday
Perdomo is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Royals.
After going hitless in the final two games of the Diamondbacks' series against the Cubs this past weekend, Perdomo will get a breather as Arizona's road trip moves to Kansas City. Kevin Newman will step in for Perdomo at shortstop and will bat eighth.

Joc Pederson DH | TEX
Diamondbacks' Joc Pederson: On bench against lefty
Pederson is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Royals.
The left-handed Pederson will hit the bench for the second day in a row while the Diamondbacks face off against another southpaw in Cole Ragans. Randal Grichuk will replace Pederson at designated hitter.

Ramon Laureano LF | SD
Braves' Ramon Laureano: Not seeing regular run upon return
Laureano is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Reds.
Since being activated from the 10-day injured list Friday, Laureano has started just once in Atlanta's ensuing four games, with the club facing off against right-handed pitchers in all of those contests. Before hitting the shelf July 10 with an oblique strain that had first cropped up about two weeks earlier, Laureano had been getting regular playing time in right field, but his injury appears to have cost him his starting role. Adam Duvall now appears to be Atlanta's preferred option in right field.

Mark Vientos 1B | NYM
Mets' Mark Vientos: Receiving Monday off
Vientos is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Marlins.
Jose Iglesias will move over from his usual spot at second base to cover the hot corner in place of Vientos. The 24-year-old had been included in the lineup in each of the Mets' last 12 games, batting .295 with one home run, four RBI and three runs during that stretch.
