Yelich is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rockies.

The left-handed hitter will receive a breather in the day game with southpaw Kyle Freeland on the bump for Colorado. William Contreras will get a break from catching but will stick in the lineup by occupying Yelich's usual spot at designated hitter.

Acuna (hamstring) isn't included in Atlanta's lineup for Sunday's game against the Orioles and appears unlikely to be activated from the 10-day injured list until at least Monday.

Acuna isn't believed to have experienced any setbacks with his left hamstring during his rehab assignment at Triple-A Gwinnett, but he'll get at least one day of rest after he went 1-for-3 with a walk while playing right field in one game of a doubleheader Saturday. Assuming the 28-year-old joins the big club on its upcoming road trip to New York, he could be back in the lineup for Monday's series opener versus the Mets.

Stewart is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cardinals.

Stewart will receive his first day off this season after drawing starts in 103 straight games. The 22-year-old remains one of the leading contenders for the National League Rookie of the Year Award, but he's lost some momentum coming out of the All-Star break with a .188/.200/.406 slash line over the last eight games. With Stewart getting a breather, Ke'Bryan Hayes will pick up a start at third base in the series finale in St. Louis.

The Nationals recalled House from Triple-A Rochester on Sunday. He'll start at third base and bat fifth in the Nationals' series finale versus the Diamondbacks.

With Washington having traded Curtis Mead to Boston, House will come up from Triple-A to fill the open spot on the 26-man active roster. House served as the Nationals' primary third baseman to begin the season and produced a .681 OPS in 44 games prior to his demotion May 18. After putting together a .301/.342/.500 slash line with a 23.9 percent strikeout rate over 222 plate appearances at Triple-A, House could end up garnering another look as an everyday player at the hot corner, though Jorbit Vivas and Jose Tena also loom as options at third base.

Waldschmidt is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Nationals.

Waldschmidt will take a seat for the second time in the series while Arizona goes with a starting outfield of Max Kepler, Tim Tawa and Corbin Carroll from left to right. Since being recalled from Triple-A Reno on July 9, Waldschmidt has handled a near-everyday role and has produced a .250/.259/.417 slash line with one home run, one stolen base, four RBI and four runs in eight games.

Tawa went 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored in Saturday's 5-3 loss to the Nationals.

Tawa has delivered two-hit performances in Arizona's first two games in Washington and will take a five-game hitting streak into the series finale. He'll start in center field and bat ninth Sunday in what will mark his seventh consecutive start. Tawa should have a fairly firm grasp on an everyday role while he's producing at the plate, as three key outfielders (Lourdes Gurriel, Jordan Lawlar and Tommy Troy) are all on the injured list.

Vargas is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Nationals.

Vargas will hit the bench for the series finale after he had gone 9-for-21 with two walks, five runs and two RBI over the Diamondbacks' past six games. He'll cede his spot in the starting nine to Tyler Locklear, who will cover first base and bat eighth.

McLain (calf) served as the designated hitter and went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored in a rehab game for Triple-A Louisville on Saturday.

McLain made his second rehab appearance with Louisville, after he started at shortstop and played six innings Friday. He can be activated from the 10-day injured list at any point and could be a candidate to rejoin the Reds prior to the start of a three-game set against the Guardians on Monday.

Carroll batted leadoff and went 0-for-3 with a run scored in Saturday's 5-3 loss to the Nationals.

Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo tweaked the top of the order, which included moving Carroll from third to leadoff. Carroll entered Saturday in a funk, batting just .186 (8-for-47) over the previous 11 games. Ketel Marte, the primary leadoff hitter who entered Saturday batting .191 since July 9, was dropped to cleanup.

Marte batted fourth and went 0-for-4 in Saturday's 5-3 loss to Washington.

Arizona manager Torey Lovullo shuffled the top four spots in the order, which included moving Marte from leadoff to cleanup. The Diamondbacks entered Saturday having scored the most runs in baseball since July 9, but it was largely due to the lower half of the order. Other than Gabriel Moreno, the top half has struggled. Marte entered Saturday batting .191 (9-for-47) with a 28.0 strikeout percentage during that stretch.
