Adames went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and two stolen bases in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Rockies.

Adames got the scoring started Saturday with a first-inning solo home run, his 30th home run of the season. This is his second season with 30 or more homers after also doing it in 2022. Adames became the first Brewers player with 30 home runs and 100 RBI in a season since 2018, when both Christian Yelich and Jesus Aguilar did it. The two stolen bases were a surprise; it's just the second time in his career he's recorded multiple steals in a game, and it was the seventh time he's recorded a homer and a steal in the same game.

Contreras went 2-for-3 with a two-run homer and a walk in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Rockies.

Contreras took Ty Blach deep for a two-run homer in the third inning and set a new career high for homers in a season after he hit 20 in 2022 with Atlanta. Contreras' multi-hit effort broke him out of a 0-for-19 slump over his last six games. The 26-year-old catcher has found his power stroke as of late with 10 home runs since the beginning of August, including four in his last 10 starts.

Myers (7-5) picked up the win Saturday against the Rockies. He allowed one run on four hits and one walk while striking out 11 over six innings.

Outside of a solo home run served up to Ryan McMahon, Myers was fantastic in one of the best starts of his young career. Myers got his first career start with double-digit strikeouts and at one point recorded eight straight outs via punchout. The rookie right-hander has been one of the better pitchers in the National League for over half the season now. Since the beginning of June, Myers has a 2.22 ERA, which is good for third best in all of MLB over that span.

Blach (3-8) allowed five runs on six hits over 3.2 innings Saturday, he struck out one and took the loss against Milwaukee.

Blach fell victim to the long ball, tying a career high with three home runs allowed. He allowed back-to-back homers to Willy Adames and Gary Sanchez in the first inning, and then a two-run blast to William Contreras in the third. Blach was given a second straight start after being called up on Sept. 1, but he's been lit up for five runs in each of those appearances. The 33-year-old has a 6.94 ERA through 71.1 innings this season.

Assad (7-5) took the loss against the Yankees on Saturday, allowing two runs (one earned) on three hits and three walks with five strikeouts over 5.2 innings.

Assad allowed one run in the first inning and then tossed four scoreless frames before being lifted and charged with an unearned run in the sixth. Despite the loss, the 27-year-old has yielded three earned runs or fewer in each of his past 10 appearances. On the season, he owns a 3.14 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 111:56 across 131.2 innings and lines up for a road matchup with the Rockies next week.

Manager Dave Roberts said Saturday that Graterol (hamstring) is expected to be activated off the 15-day injured list in the next couple of days, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Graterol threw one scoreless inning in his last rehab outing with Triple-A Oklahoma City on Friday. He's been on the injured list since Aug. 7 due to a Grade 1 hamstring strain, but he appears to be ready to return to the Dodgers' bullpen. Graterol began the season on the injured list with right shoulder inflammation, and his lone appearance with the big club came Aug. 6 against the Phillies, when he gave up two runs on one hit and one walk over one-third of an inning.

Manager Bud Black said Saturday that Bryant (back) is "doing better" but the 32-year-old outfielder is still "questionable" to return this season, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.

Bryant has been on the injured list since Aug. 12 due to a back strain. It's the third time he's been on the IL this season, and the second on account of a back injury. If Bryant is indeed done for the year, he'll finish with a slash line of .218/.323/.301 with two home runs and 15 RBI across 155 plate appearances.

Glasnow (elbow) threw a 25-pitch bullpen session Saturday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Saturday marks the first time Glasnow has thrown off a mound since he landed on the injured list in mid-August due to right elbow tendinitis. He's not expected to make it back to the Dodgers before mid-September, but the fact he's back on a mound is a good indication of progress. The 31-year-old righty will presumably throw a few more bullpen sessions before progressing to live batting practice.

Hernandez said Saturday that an MRI and CT scan on his left ankle came back negative, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.

There was initially concern that Hernandez would need to spend time on the injured list after he was hit by a pitch during Friday's contest. However, it now appears the 31-year-old outfielder escaped the incident with no more than a bruise. He'll likely remain out for the remainder of the Dodgers' series versus Cleveland, though there's a chance he returns to the starting nine against the Cubs on Monday or Tuesday.

Smith isn't in the Dodgers' lineup for Saturday's game against the Guardians.

After going 0-for-8 with four strikeouts across his last two games, Smith will get a breather Saturday against Gavin Williams and the Guardians. Austin Barnes will start behind the plate instead and bat ninth.
