Wisely will start at shortstop for Sunday's game against the Padres.

The lefty-hitting Wisely often sits against southpaws like the Padres' (Martin Perez), but Wisely will stick in the lineup at shortstop while Tyler Fitzgerald (back) takes a seat due to injury. Donovan Walton will fill Wisely's usual spot at the keystone.

McCray is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Padres, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

It's the second straight game on the bench for McCray, who went 5-for-30 with 11 strikeouts while starting the previous eight contests. Mike Yastrzemski will shift to center field Sunday, opening up right for Jerar Encarnacion.

McCoy is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Giants.

On the bench for the fifth game in a row, McCoy appears to have lost hold of his everyday gig at shortstop in the absence of Ha-Seong Kim (shoulder). Even though Kim remains on the injured list, the Padres have opted to shift Xander Bogaerts from second base to shortstop to open up regular playing time in the infield for Donovan Solano.

Conforto is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Padres, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Conforto went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts in Saturday's contest, but he'll hit the bench Sunday for the fourth time in five games. The 31-year-old has a .560 OPS through nine games in September, and the soon-to-be free agent could see his playing time continue to dry up down the stretch with San Francisco 9.5 games back of the final wild-card spot.

Higashioka is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Giants.

Higashioka will receive a breather in the series finale after he had started at catcher in four of the Padres' previous five games. Elias Diaz will step in behind the plate for San Diego.

Bailey is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Padres, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Bailey went 3-for-7 with a double while starting the first two games of the series, but he'll sit Sunday for the afternoon finale. Curt Casali is batting eighth and catching for right-hander Landen Roupp.

Wade went 6-for-15 with a double and two RBI while starting the previous five games, but he'll sit Sunday as southpaw Martin Perez takes the mound for San Diego. Mark Canha will step in at first base for San Francisco.

Perkins is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks.

For just the third time in 13 games on the month, Perkins will take a seat while Milwaukee goes with a starting outfield of Jackson Chourio, Garrett Mitchell and Sal Frelick from left to right. Since returning from a stint on the injured list Aug. 22, Perkins has slashed an anemic .197/.287/.258 over 19 games. He could soon be at risk of moving into more of a fourth-outfielder role.

Pederson is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Brewers.

The lefty-hitting Pederson will take a seat for the series finale while the Brewers send southpaw DL Hall to the bump. Josh Bell will get the starting nod at designated hitter in Pederson's stead.

Del Castillo is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Brewers.

With a left-hander (DL Hall) starting for the Brewers, the left-handed-hitting Del Castillo will head to the bench while Jose Herrera gets the nod behind the plate. Though Del Castillo had typically been seeing most of the starts against right-handed pitching since he was promoted from Triple-A Reno on Aug. 6, he and Herrera are both likely to see their opportunities diminish over the final two weeks of the season after Arizona reinstated top backstop Gabriel Moreno (adductor) from the 10-day injured list Sunday. Moreno could draw back into the lineup as soon as Monday in Colorado.
