Kopech (6-8) got the win over Atlanta on Sunday, allowing one hit and one walk while striking out two in a scoreless inning.

Kopech pitched the bottom of the eighth with the game tied 2-2 and kept things tied despite allowing two baserunners. The Dodgers would then go on to score seven runs in the top of the ninth to put Kopech in line for the win. The 28-year-old righty has pitched scoreless outings in seven of his last eight appearances but has also allowed at least one baserunner in five of those. For the year, Kopech sports a 3.59 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 83:32 K:BB in 62.2 innings.

Buehler did not factor into the decision in Sunday's win over Atlanta, allowing two runs (one earned) on three hits and five walks while striking out five over six innings.

The five walks were not ideal for Buehler, who had three walks in the third inning, which contributed to two runs for Atlanta in the frame. Overall, he had one of his better outings of the season. It was his first time since May 31 reaching six innings and his second time over the last six starts allowing fewer than three earned runs. Buehler now owns a 5.54 ERA, 1.62 WHIP and 54:26 K:BB in 65 innings and will look to keep the momentum going in his next start against Colorado over the weekend.

Walton went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Sunday's 4-3 extra-inning loss to the Padres.

Walton's sixth-inning homer was his first hit in three games the major-league level this year. He's received an opportunity to play in the middle infield while Tyler Fitzgerald (back) has been sidelined. The 30-year-old Walton slashed an impressive .303/.377/.438 with seven home runs, 51 RBI, 53 runs scored and four stolen bases over 99 games as Triple-A Sacramento prior to his call-up.

Ramos went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 4-3 extra-inning loss to the Padres.

Ramos had gone 17 games without a homer, hitting just .172 (11-for-64) with four doubles and two stolen bases in that span. The outfielder still has a strong .267/.321/.469 slash line with 21 homers, 68 RBI, 47 runs scored and six stolen bases over 110 contests this season. That said, his performance has dipped down the stretch, though it hasn't cost him a near-everyday role for the light-hitting Giants.

Doval (5-3) allowed two runs (one earned) on two hits and struck out one over one inning, taking the extra-inning loss versus the Padres on Sunday.

Doval worked the 10th inning but couldn't keep the Padres in check. He had appeared to stabilize his performance after returning from a stint at Triple-A Sacramento in August, but he's faded again in September, allowing nine runs (eight earned) over 6.2 innings this month. Doval is now at a 5.17 ERA, 1.65 WHIP and 71:36 K:BB with 22 saves and three holds over 54 innings, but he could be out of the high-leverage picture by the end of the campaign given his current trend.

Roupp allowed two hits and two walks while striking out four over five scoreless innings in a no-decision versus the Padres on Sunday.

Roupp has allowed two runs on seven hits and two walks over 10 innings across two starts since he joined the Giants' rotation. He was efficient Sunday, throwing 74 pitches (51 strikes) in this outing. He may continue to stretch out over the remainder of the campaign, which gives him a chance to be in the conversation for a rotation spot next year. Overall, Roupp has pitched to a 3.02 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 40:21 K:BB through 41.2 innings over 21 appearances this year.

Morejon allowed an unearned run over one inning without giving up a hit or a walk, earning the save in Sunday's 4-3 extra-inning win over the Giants.

Regular closer Robert Suarez worked the ninth inning and took a blown save, but the Padres were able to gain the lead in the 10th. Morejon then closed things out, earning his second career save, both of which have come over his last 15 appearances. In that span, he's allowed seven runs (six earned) across 13.2 innings. The southpaw is at a 3.00 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and 67:20 K:BB with 10 holds through 60 innings this year, emerging as an option for high-leverage work in a talented Padres bullpen.

Suarez (9-3) allowed a run on one hit over one inning, taking a blown save but earning the extra-inning win over the Giants on Sunday.

Suarez surrendered a game-tying home run to Heliot Ramos in the bottom of the ninth inning, but the Padres were able to regain the lead in the 10th. This was Suarez's fifth blown save of the campaign, two of which have come over his last three outings. He's now at a 2.59 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and 54:14 K:BB with 32 saves across 59 innings as the Padres' closer this year. His recent slip-ups don't appear to be putting his role in danger yet.

Perez allowed a run on two hits and a walk while striking out two over five-plus innings in a no-decision versus the Giants on Sunday.

The lone mistake on Perez's line was a solo home run by Donovan Walton in the sixth inning, which tied the game at 1-1. Perez ended up missing one turn through the rotation while on the paternity list. He's allowed multiple runs just three times over eight starts since he was traded from the Pirates to the Padres, though he's completed six innings just three times in that span. Perez has a 4.36 ERA, 1.47 WHIP and 98:44 K:BB across 126 innings through 24 starts this year. He's lined up to make his next start at home versus the White Sox.

Swanson went 1-for-5 with a walk and a stolen base in Sunday's 6-2 win over the Rockies.

Swanson is up to 17 steals on the year, with 10 of them coming since the start of August. He's batting .275 in that span, a vast improvement on his .235 average for the year. The shortstop has still offered decent counting stats with 14 home runs, 58 RBI, 72 runs scored and 23 doubles over 138 contests, but his .685 OPS is his lowest mark in a full season since 2017.
