Kelenic is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Reds.

The left-handed-hitting Kelenic has picked up just two starts in eight games, even while Atlanta has opposed six right-handed starters during that span. After previously occupying the strong side of a platoon in left field, Kelenic appears to have ceded everyday duties at the position to Ramon Laureano. Kelenic's reduction in playing time comes while he's managed a lowly .176/.240/.294 slash line with a 30.7 percent strikeout rate dating back to Aug. 10.

Laureano will start in left field and bat fifth in Wednesday's game against the Reds.

Laureano will be included the lineup for the sixth time in eight games, with the right-handed-hitting outfielder having picked up four starts versus righties during that span. After previously occupying the short side of a platoon in left field, Laureano appears to have unseated the struggling Jarred Kelenic as the preferred option at the position. Dating back to the All-Star break, Laureano has produced an .858 OPS over 45 games.

The Dodgers selected Logue's contract from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Wednesday.

Six days after signing a minor-league deal with the Dodgers, Logue will be called upon to help add depth to Los Angeles' bullpen while Michael Grove and Bobby Miller head back to the minors. The 28-year-old Logue has yet to appear in an MLB game this season, though he owns a 2.69 ERA and 1.09 WHIP through 93.2 frames in Triple-A.

Triple-A Syracuse reinstated Baty (finger) from the 7-day injured list Wednesday. Michael Mayer of MetsmerizedOnline.com reports.

Baty had been sidelined since late August with a fractured left index finger. Mets manager Carlos Mendoza said Wednesday that Baty playing again in the majors this season is "in play," per Tim Healey of Newsday. However, given his .633 OPS in 50 games with the Mets this season, it's unlikely he'll have much of a role even if he does get recalled. He'll make his return to the Triple-A lineup Wednesday against Charlotte as Syracuse's designated hitter.

D'Arnaud is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Reds.

D'Arnaud has alternated starts behind the plate with Sean Murphy since the former returned from the paternity list last Thursday. Murphy will get the nod Wednesday after d'Arnaud went 1-for-4 with a walk in Tuesday's 6-5 loss.

Senga (calf) hopes to make a one-inning rehab appearance with Triple-A Syracuse before their season ends Sunday, Tim Britton of The Athletic reports.

If he's able to make the appearance and come out of it without any physical concerns, Senga could rejoin the Mets as a reliever as soon as Sept. 26, when he's first eligible for activation from the 60-day injured list. The right-hander has been shelved since late July with a high-grade left calf strain.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Wednesday that it's "very unlikely" Stone (shoulder) will return from the 15-day injured list this season, Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Stone had been scheduled to begin a throwing program this past weekend, but that didn't happen, as he's yet to pick up a ball due to continued soreness in his right shoulder. The right-hander has missed all of September with shoulder inflammation. Stone's continued absence is yet another blow to a Dodgers rotation that's been decimated by injuries.

The Dodgers optioned Grove to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Wednesday, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.

Grove allowed three runs over a 1.2-inning relief outing Tuesday in Miami. He's expected to be replaced by a fresh bullpen arm, although the Dodgers have not yet announced the corresponding move.

Kelly has been out since late August with right shoulder inflammation but is ready to go after making a couple rehab appearances. He's likely to be used in low-leverage situations.

The move comes one day after another poor start in which Miller surrendered four runs on seven hits and one walk across two innings against the Marlins. He's managed an ugly 8.52 ERA and 1.77 WHIP in a horribly disappointing 2024 campaign. The Dodgers have not yet announced a replacement for Miller's spot in the rotation.
