Brewers' Jackson Chourio: Monster performance Thursday
Chourio went 3-for-4 with two home runs, four RBI, four runs scored and a walk in Thursday's 12-9 loss to the Giants.
It was a banner performance by Chourio, who recorded the third multi-homer game of his career and his first of the year. The four RBI were also a season high in what was the star outfielder's second effort of the campaign with at least three knocks. Chourio has been a five-category fantasy producer when healthy in 2026, batting .308 with four long balls, 16 RBI, five stolen bases and 19 runs scored over 107 at-bats.

Brewers' Jackson Chourio: Riding bench Wednesday
Chourio is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against San Francisco.
After going a combined 4-for-8 with four RBIs, three walks and four runs in the first two games of the series, Chourio will receive the day off Wednesday. This will be Chourio's second rest day since making his season debut May 4. The 22-year-old has slashed .284/.348/.431 with two home runs in 102 at-bats since coming off of the injured list. Chourio went 2-for-4 with an RBI double, one walk and two runs scored in Tuesday's 8-3 win over the Giants.
In just his 24th game of the season, Chourio smacked his ninth double of 2026 in the eighth inning, driving home a run to extend Milwaukee's lead to 7-3. Since making his season debut May 4, Chourio is slashing .284/.348/.431 with 11 extra-base hits, including two homers, 12 RBI, 15 runs scored, five stolen bases and a 10:30 BB:K across 112 plate appearances.

Chourio took Houston starter Kai-Wei Teng deep for his second homer of the season in the top of the fifth inning to cut the Astros' lead to 4-3. He later walked to lead off the top of the eighth and came around to score on a Jake Bauers groundout. Since making his season debut May 4, Chourio has slashed .267/.320/.411 with two homers, seven RBI, 11 runs scored, five stolen bases and a 7:29 BB:K across 97 plate appearances. His 29.9 percent strikeout rate is well above his career average of 20.8 percent.

Brewers' Jackson Chourio: Belts decisive homer
Chourio went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a double in a 2-1 win against Minnesota on Saturday.
Chourio carried the Brewers' offense in the victory, recording both of the team's extra-base hits (and two of the club's overall five knocks). His solo home run in the sixth inning broke a 1-1 tie and proved to be the game-winning RBI, as neither team scored thereafter. Chourio didn't make his season debut until May 4, and the long ball was his first of the campaign. Brewers' Jackson Chourio: Four-hit effort in return
Chourio (hand) went 4-for-4 with two doubles, a run scored and a walk in Monday's 6-3 loss to St. Louis.
In his first big-league game of the season, Chourio reached base in all five of his plate appearances, including a pair of doubles. The outfielder, who opened the season on the injured list due to a fracture in his left hand, showed no signs of rust, as his lowest exit velocity checked in at 102.8 mph. Coming off a 2025 campaign in which he posted a .771 OPS with 21 homers, 35 doubles, four triples, 78 RBI, 88 runs and 21 stolen bases across 131 regular-season appearances, the 22-year-old will look to take another step forward in 2026.

Brewers' Jackson Chourio: Cleared to return from IL
The Brewers reinstated Chourio (hand) from the 10-day injured list. He'll start in left field and bat second in Monday's game against the Cardinals.
During the third game of his rehab assignment Saturday with Triple-A Nashville, Chourio was removed from the contest after fouling a ball off of his foot, but he avoided anything significant after X-rays returned negative. The injury scare still cast some doubt on Chourio's chances of being available for the start of Milwaukee's three-game series in St. Louis, but the Brewers were comfortable activating him after he experienced no setbacks during his pregame running workout, per Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Now considered fully healed from the left hand fracture he originally suffered during the World Baseball Classic, Chourio is finally ready to make his 2026 debut for the Brewers and will step back into a prominent spot in the batting order.

Chourio (hand) had X-rays come back negative after fouling a pitch off his foot during his rehab appearance Saturday with Triple-A Nashville, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Chourio's removal from the contest was labeled a precautionary move, but the Brewers wanted to make sure and sent him for X-rays. The 22-year-old was expected to finish up his rehab assignment this weekend and rejoin the big club in St. Louis this week, but that plan may now depend on how his foot feels over the next couple days.

Chourio (hand/foot) was removed from Saturday's rehab game with Triple-A Nashville for precautionary reasons, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Chourio played in his third rehab contest Saturday and fouled a ball off his foot in the third inning before being removed from the game in the fourth. It sounds like he avoided any sort of injury as he trends toward activation from the 10-day injured list next week, perhaps as soon as Monday against the Cardinals.

Chourio (hand) left Saturday's rehab game with Triple-A Nashville due to a foot injury, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Chourio fouled a ball off his foot during the third inning of Saturday's game. He stayed in the game to finish his plate appearance but was replaced in the fourth, and he'll undergo further tests on his foot. Chourio is in Triple-A on a rehab assignment as part of his recovery from left hamate bone surgery that landed him on the 10-day injured list before the start of the regular season.
