Steer (shoulder) received positive results after being re-examined by the team's medical staff Saturday, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports.

Steer was examined for the first time since receiving a cortisone injection in his right shoulder. Cincinnati manager Terry Francona said Sunday that he'll work on range-of-motion activities and estimated Steer should progress to hitting off a tee by mid-week.

Diaz (hamstring) allowed one hit and one walk over a scoreless inning in Sunday's spring game against the Angels.

Diaz made his Cactus League debut, entering in the fifth inning after starter Graham Ashcraft worked the first four frames. Diaz was held out of early spring games as a precaution after he felt something in his hamstring during pitcher fielding drills. The Reds' closer is confident he'll be ready for Opening Day.

Strahm will be shut down until at least Thursday and is uncertain for Opening Day due to an impingement in his left shoulder that's caused inflammation, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.

The good news is an MRI on Strahm's shoulder came back negative. He will be re-examined Thursday by the Phillies team doctor, at which point it will be determined whether he's able to resume a throwing program. The Phillies should have a good idea at that time whether Strahm will have a chance to be ready in time for Opening Day. The southpaw was one of the best relievers in baseball last season, collecting a 1.87 ERA, 0.75 WHIP and 79:11 K:BB over 62.2 regular-season frames.

Perdomo went 1-for-1 with two walks and two stolen bases in Sunday's split-squad game against the Athletics.

Perdomo has delivered for the Diamondbacks this spring after signing a four-year contract extension. He's gone 8-for-24 (.333) with four walks, building off improving on-base skills the last two seasons following a rude introduction to major league pitching during his rookie 2022 season. Sunday's two thefts were his first of the Cactus League. While his overall fantasy profile doesn't grab one's attention, Perdomo does provide some value in steals; he swiped 16 bags in 2023 (144 games) and nine in an injury-shortened 2024 (98 games).

Burnes allowed two hits and a walk while striking out five over four innings in Sunday's spring start against the Rangers.

Early on this spring, Burnes has lived up the six-year ($210 million) contract the Diamondbacks handed him during the offseason. The right-hander has allowed just one run during his four Cactus League starts and struck out 13 over 9.1 innings. "I think kind of the last piece was pairing both the cutter command with the spin and we were able to do that today," Burnes told Nick Piecoro of the Arizona Republic following the game. He threw 57 pitches (39 strikes), putting him on schedule for a full workload once the regular season kicks off. Burnes should get another three starts to build up and work on little things that may crop up between now and Opening Day.

Snell is slated to pitch in one of two exhibition games in Tokyo, Japan on March 15 and 16, and Dodgers manager Dave Roberts implied that the southpaw will start the team's home regular-season opener in Los Angeles on March 27, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

A pair of Japanese-born hurlers -- Yoshinobu Yamamoto and Roki Sasaki -- have been tabbed to start for the Dodgers in the regular-season-opening two-game series against the Cubs in Tokyo on March 18 and 19, but it doesn't appear that either of those pitchers will get the ball again for the team's stateside opener against Detroit on March 27. Instead, Snell is likely to get the call for that contest after joining Los Angeles on a five-year, $182 million contract in late November. Snell made his second spring start Sunday against the Athletics and gave up four runs on five hits over 3.2 innings, but he struck out five batters, averaged 95.2 mph on his fastball and threw 67 pitches, so he appears to be ramping up well for the regular season.

Jones has gone 5-for-16 across his last six Cactus League games.

Jones has started to turn things around after beginning spring training 0-for-13 with four strikeouts. He has still yet to record an extra-base hit, which is a concern after his power evaporated in an injury-plagued 2024 season. Nevertheless, Jones will be a marquee member of the Rockies' lineup and should be an everyday player so long as he can remain healthy.

McMahon has gone 7-for-19 with seven walks across nine Cactus League games.

McMahon has maintained at least a 10 percent walk rate in three straight regular seasons, so his elevated walk rate in the spring isn't much of a surprise. While he has only two extra-base hits in the exhibition season, he has maintained at least a .165 ISO in five of his last six campaigns.

Freeland has allowed one earned run and maintained a 3:1 K:BB across five innings in Cactus League play.

Freeland has made two starts this spring, ramping up to 42 pitches in the latter. Despite the solid results, he allowed five baserunners across three frames in his second outing and has not missed many bats. Freeland has also had a WHIP of 1.40 or worse in seven of his eight seasons in the majors, making him very difficult to trust for fantasy purposes.

Herrera exited Sunday's contest against the Rangers early with right wrist soreness.

Herrera was forced out of the game in the top of sixth inning after a bang-bang play at home plate. The catcher finished his day having gone 1-for-4 with an RBI double and a run scored. More information on Herrera's status will likely be provided in the near future.
