Davis is starting behind home plate and batting ninth against the Reds on Saturday.

The Pirates recalled Davis from Triple-A Indianapolis on Saturday, and he'll be the third catcher on the roster while Joey Bart manages a back injury. Davis was slashing .281/.343/.375 with three stolen bases and two RBI across 35 plate appearances in Triple-A before being called up to the majors.

Cruz (finger) is not in the Pirates' starting lineup against the Reds on Saturday.

Saturday marks the third straight absence for Cruz after he was hit on the finger by a pitch in Tuesday's contest against St. Louis. He could be available as a pinch runner, but Alexander Canario will draw the start in center field and bat sixth against Reds southpaw Andrew Abbott.

Frazier is not in Pittsburgh's starting lineup against Cincinnati on Saturday.

With the Reds sending southpaw Andrew Abbott to the mound, the lefty-hitting Frazier will begin Saturday's contest in the dugout while Enmanuel Valdez starts at second base and bats eighth. Frazier has started the season slashing .171/.222/.244 with one home run and six RBI across 45 plate appearances.

Bart (back) is not in the Pirates' starting lineup against the Reds on Saturday.

Bart exited Friday's game against Cincinnati due to lower-back discomfort, and he'll remain sidelined for Saturday's contest. Henry Davis, who was recalled from Triple-A Indianapolis on Saturday, will serve behind home plate and bat ninth against Reds southpaw Andrew Abbott.

The Pirates optioned Shugart to Triple-A Indianapolis on Sunday.

The move corresponds with the Pirates recalling catcher Henry Davis from Indianapolis. Shugart made three appearances out of the Pirates' bullpen after being called up to the big club April 6, allowing two hits and two walks while striking out two in 3.2 scoreless innings. The 28-year-old right-hander could be recalled by Pittsburgh again if the parent club is in need of depth out of the bullpen.

Moniak is not in Colorado's starting lineup against San Diego on Saturday.

With the Padres sending southpaw Kyle Hart to the mound, Moniak will begin Saturday's game in the dugout while Sean Bouchard, Tyler Freeman and Zac Veen man the outfield. Moniak has started the season slashing .227/.346/.545 with four walks, four runs scored, one home run and two RBI across 26 plate appearances.

Goodman is not in the Rockies' starting lineup against the Padres on Saturday.

Goodman went 0-for-3 with two strikeouts in Friday's series opener. He'll begin Saturday's game in the dugout while Jacob Stallings starts behind home plate and bats eighth against San Diego southpaw Kyle Hart.

Siri suffered a left shin contusion in the second inning of Saturday's game against the Athletics, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.

Siri was carted off the field after fouling a ball off his left shin. Initial tests haven't revealed any structural damage, and Siri can be considered day-to-day while his bruise heals.

Doyle is not in the Rockies' starting lineup against the Padres on Saturday.

Doyle will be absent from Colorado's lineup for a second straight game. This time around, Tyler Freeman will start in right field and bat seventh against Padres southpaw Kyle Hart.

Smith is not in the Dodgers' starting lineup against the Cubs on Saturday.

Austin Barnes will start behind home plate and bat in the ninth spot against Cubs right-hander Ben Brown. Smith has gone 3-for-17 with three walks, two RBI and seven strikeouts over his last five games.
