The Brewers optioned Henderson to Triple-A Nashville on Monday.

Henderson was excellent in his major-league debut Sunday against the Athletics, striking out nine across six innings of one-run ball. However, with Tobias Myers (oblique) due back this week, there's no longer a need for Henderson in the Milwaukee rotation. Henderson should get the first call when the Brewers need rotation help in the future.

The Diamondbacks activated Alexander (oblique/hip) from the 10-day injured list Sunday and optioned him to Triple-A Reno.

Alexander initially went on the IL to begin the season due to an oblique strain and more recently suffered a hip injury on his rehab assignment. He's recovered from both injuries now but will remain at Reno rather than join the major-league club.

The Diamondbacks optioned McCarthy to Triple-A Reno on Monday.

McCarthy is a dreadful 3-for-41 (.073) at the plate this season and had been displaced on the center field hierarchy by Alek Thomas. He'll head to Reno, where he will play every day and try to get back on track offensively. Thomas will now be the Diamondbacks' primary center fielder.

The Mariners traded Pomeranz to the Cubs on Monday for cash considerations, Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports.

Pomeranz signed a minor-league contract with the Mariners in March and appeared in nine games for Triple-A Tacoma, logging a 4.66 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 14:6 K:BB across 9.2 innings. The veteran southpaw will report to Triple-A Iowa and hasn't pitched in the majors since 2021 with the Padres, but he could see work out of the Cubs' bullpen soon, per Rosenthal.

Atlanta placed Strider on the 15-day injured list Monday with a strained right hamstring.

Strider injured the hamstring while playing catch Monday, per Mark Bowman of MLB.com. He will be eligible to return May 3, but it's not clear whether the righty will be ready to go by that date. Strider had been slated to start Tuesday against the Cardinals and Atlanta is undecided on who will take the ball in his place.

Atlanta recalled Petersen from Triple-A Gwinnet on Monday.

Petersen will take the spot on the 26-man roster vacated by Spencer Strider (hamstring), who was placed on the 15-day injured list in a corresponding move. Petersen has spent most of the season in Triple-A but did make a major-league appearance against the Rays on April 13, when he struck out one batter in two scoreless innings.

The Padres recalled McCoy from Triple-A El Paso on Monday.

The move corresponds with the Padres placing Luis Arraez (concussion) on the 7-day injured list. McCoy wasn't able to crack the Opening Day roster and started the 2025 season in Triple-A, where he is slashing .328/.425/.522 with two stolen bases, 13 runs scored, one home run and 16 RBI in 81 plate appearances. He appeared in 19 regular-season games (16 starts) for the Padres in 2024, all at shortstop.

Mets president of baseball operations David Stearns said Monday that Siri (leg) is expected to be sidelined 8-to-10 weeks, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

Siri suffered a left tibia fracture last week and has already been placed on the 10-day injured list. The timeline puts Siri out until mid-to-late June. Tyrone Taylor has been making regular starts as the center fielder with Siri out, and Jeff McNeil (oblique) is also being cross trained in the outfield during his rehab assignment in the minors.

Arraez (concussion) is expected to be placed on the 7-day injured list prior to Monday's game against the Tigers, Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Arraez is dealing with concussion symptoms after colliding with the Astros' Mauricio Dubon on Sunday. The infielder was taken off the field on a stretcher following the concussion and was sent to a local hospital for further evaluation. He's since posted on social media that he's feeling fine physically, but Arraez will be out for at least one week while he waits for his concussion symptoms to subside. Connor Joe, Yuli Gurriel and Gavin Sheets will be the main candidates to see playing time at first base in Arraez's absence.

The Brewers are expected to option Henderson to Triple-A Nashville in order to make room for the promotion of Craig Yoho, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Henderson spun a gem against the Athletics on Sunday and earned the win after throwing six innings of one-run ball with nine strikeouts. However, with Tobias Myers (oblique) set to make his season debut later this week, there isn't an immediate need in the rotation for Henderson. There's a good chance Henderson is back with the big club again at some point this season.
