Bailey isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Rangers, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Bailey will take a day to regroup Saturday after going 2-for-16 with two RBI and seven strikeouts over the past seven days. Sam Huff will take over behind the plate and bat ninth.

Taylor is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against Washington.

Taylor will take a seat on the bench Saturday after going 0-for-11 with five strikeouts over his last three games. While he regroups, Jeff McNeil will start in center field, giving Luisangel Acuna an opportunity to start at the keystone.

Doyle (personal) will start in center field and bat leadoff Saturday against the Reds, Patrick Lyons of JustBaseball.com reports.

Doyle sat out Friday's series opener for personal reasons, but he's back in the starting nine Saturday. The 26-year-old is having a nice year at the plate so far, slashing .295/.353/.492 with 13 RBI, eight runs scored and two steals through 16 games.

Busch is not in Saturday's lineup against the Phillies.

The Cubs haven't faced many lefties this year, but Busch has yet to make a start against a same-handed pitcher. Justin Turner will start at first base against southpaw Jesus Luzardo.

Fulford was recalled from Triple-A Albuquerque on Saturday.

He was optioned just Friday but was quickly added back to the active roster after Aaron Schunk (groin strain) landed on the injured list. This will free up Hunter Goodman for more work at designated hitter in the short term. Fulford has one home run and five strikeouts in eight MLB plate appearances.

Schunk was placed on the 10-day injured list Saturday with a left groin strain.

Schunk had moved into a regular role, at least in the short term with Ezequiel Tovar (hip) on the shelf. Back in 2024, Schunk saw the bulk of his work at third base and second base, but with Tovar out, Schunk received all seven of his starts at shortstop. Kyle Farmer and Adael Amador should handle the middle-infield duties until Tovar and or Schunk are healthy.

The Brewers transferred Perkins (shin) to the 60-day injured list Saturday.

Perkins has been on the injured list all season after suffering a lower-leg fracture early in spring training, and moving to the 60-day IL will officially keep him out until at least May 26. He'll surrender his roster spot to Daz Cameron, who was selected to the active roster Saturday to replace the injured Garrett Mitchell (oblique).

The Brewers selected Cameron's contract from Triple-A Nashville on Saturday.

Milwaukee will call upon Cameron to provide the team with some outfield depth while Garrett Mitchell (oblique) spends time on the injured list. Cameron, 28, boasts a 1.274 OPS in Triple-A since being acquired by the Brewers on April 7, which could be enough to buy him an occasional start with the big club. Blake Perkins (shin) was transferred to the 60-day IL to clear space on the 40-man roster.

The Brewers placed Mitchell on the 10-day injured list Saturday with a left oblique strain.

Mitchell was taken out of Friday's game early due to oblique tightness, and an MRI confirmed a strain Saturday. He'll now spend at least the next 10 days on the injured list, opening a roster spot for Daz Cameron to join Milwaukee's outfield group and potentially start a few games until Mitchell returns.

Wade went 1-for-3 in Friday's 2-0 loss to the Rangers.

Wade recorded a single in the fifth inning after going 0-for-6 in the Giants' previous two games. The 31-year-old has struggled at the plate to begin the 2025 campaign, failing to record a hit in 18 of his 23 games. Wade is slashing .104/.238/.224 with eight RBI, seven runs scored, five extra-base hits and a 12:21 BB:K across 81 plate appearances.
