Irvin (2-1) took the loss Wednesday against the Phillies after allowing six runs on eight hits and three walks in six innings. He struck out two.

Irvin struggled in a tough matchup in Philadelphia, yielding a season-high eight knocks and six earned runs. The right-hander also tied season worsts with three walks and two punchouts, posting just five whiffs Wednesday. However, Irvin still managed to toss at least six innings in his fifth straight outing, so he'll look to continue providing length for the Nationals in his next scheduled appearance versus the Guardians. He owns a respectable 4.01 ERA, 1.13 WHIP, and 33:11 K:BB across 42.2 innings in 2025.

Sanchez (3-1) earned the win Wednesday against the Nationals after allowing two runs on five hits and three walks in five innings. He struck out six.

After being limited to two innings due to forearm soreness in his last start against the Mets, Sanchez looked sharp and didn't appear to be facing any restrictions Wednesday. While he did lend a season-high three free passes, the left-hander generated 13 whiffs and yielded just one extra-base hit. Sanchez has thrown at least five innings in five of his six outings this season, and he'll take a steady 3.45 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 39:11 K:BB over 31.1 innings into his next scheduled appearance against the Rays.

Collins was removed from Wednesday's game against the White Sox after getting hit on the elbow by a pitch, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Collins took a 95-mph fastball off his right elbow during the second inning of Wednesday's contest. He initially remained in the game but was eventually replaced on defense by Vinny Capra during the third frame. The Brewers have already determined that Collins only suffered a bruise as a result of the incident, so while he may sit out a game or two to heal, a trip to the IL shouldn't be necessary.

Muncy went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a triple and a second run scored in Wednesday's 12-7 win over the Marlins.

Muncy opened the scoring with a two-out, 433-foot blast off Cal Quantrill in the second inning, his first homer in 29 games this year. Muncy would add a second hit with a leadoff triple in the seventh. It's been a rough start to the year for the veteran third baseman, though he's shown signs of life recently, going 5-for-15 in his last four contests. Overall, Muncy's slashing .194/.309/.301 with five RBI and seven runs scored through 110 plate appearances this season.

Roupp (2-2) took the loss Wednesday against San Diego, allowing four runs on seven hits and three walks over 4.1 innings. He struck out four.

Roupp's now allowed nine runs (seven earned) over eight innings in his last two starts. His ERA is up to 5.10 with a 1.63 WHIP and 35:14 K:BB through six starts (30 innings) this season. Roupp will look to get on track in his next outing, currently scheduled for next week against the Cubs.

Suarez earned the save in Wednesday's 5-3 win over the Giants, issuing one walk while striking out two in a scoreless ninth inning.

Suarez's stellar start to the year continued Wednesday, as he improved to 12-for-12 in save chances with another scoreless appearance to reclaim the league lead. Suarez has allowed just one run in his first 14 innings, posting a sparkling 0.57 WHIP with 16:3 K:BB.

King (4-1) earned the win Wednesday over the Giants, allowing one run on three hits and a walk across 5.2 innings. He struck out six.

King blanked the Giants through five innings before Jung Hoo Lee drove in a run with a two-out infield single in the sixth. The 29-year-old King has yet to allow more than three runs in a start this year while holding opponents to two runs or fewer in each of his last four outings. King's ERA now sits at 2.09 on the season with a 1.01 WHIP and 46:12 K:BB across seven starts (38.2 innings). He'll look to keep rolling in his next outing, tentatively scheduled for next week against the Yankees.

Quantrill (2-3) took the loss Wednesday against the Dodgers, allowing four runs on six hits and a walk across 3.2 innings. He struck out three.

After pitching a clean first inning, Quantrill gave up a two-out, solo homer to Max Muncy in the second before the Dodgers tacked on three more runs in the third. The 30-year-old Quantrill has given up four or more runs in four of his first six starts this season. His ERA is up to 8.10 with a 1.80 WHIP and 16:10 K:BB through 26.2 innings.

Stowers went 4-for-4 with two home runs, a double and four total RBI in Wednesday's 12-7 loss to the Dodgers.

Stowers was one of the few Marlins with any answers for Tony Gonsolin on Wednesday -- he launched a two-run, 423-foot blast off the right-hander in the fourth inning before adding an RBI double in the sixth. Stowers would cap a perfect day at the plate with a second homer off Yoendrys Gomez in the ninth. The 27-year-old Stowers has been a bright spot for Miami this year, slashing .323/.396/.510 with four homers, 19 RBI, 15 runs scored and two stolen bases through 111 plate appearances. He's logged at least one hit in nine of his last 12 games, going 15-for-39 (.385) in that span.

Turang was scratched from the Brewers' lineup against the White Sox on Wednesday due to an illness.

Isaac Collins will get the start at second base and bat in the leadoff spot while Turang, who has gone 13-for-40 (.325) with three stolen bases, eight runs and five RBI over his last 10 games, will get a day off to recover from the ailment.
