Realmuto went 2-for-4 with a solo homer and an additional run scored in Wednesday's win over the Nationals.

It was the first home run since April 15 for Realmuto, who has now reached base safely in 14 of his last 15 games. During this stretch, the veteran backstop has still gone a relatively quiet 14-for-58 (.241) with two homers, three doubles, five RBI and seven runs scored. On the bright side, Realmuto has already doubled his steals output from 99 contests in the 2024 regular season with four stolen bases in just 26 outings this year.

Megill notched a save against the White Sox on Wednesday, allowing one hit and issuing one walk while striking out two batters over one scoreless inning.

Megill inherited a two-run lead when he entered in the ninth frame. He allowed a one-out bunt single and issued a two-out free pass, but he also struck out two and induced a groundout to finish off the save. Megill allowed three runs in a blown save against Arizona on April 12 but has otherwise been very effective, surrendering just one earned run while registering an 11:2 K:BB over eight innings across his other 10 appearances combined.

Myers allowed two runs on two hits and three walks while striking out three batters over two innings in a no-decision against the White Sox on Wednesday.

In his second start of the season, Myers struggled with his control, issuing three free passes and throwing just 28 of 49 pitches for strikes. That earned him a quick hook, and Milwaukee manager Pat Murphy suggested after the contest that the early exit was related to the control struggles, stating, "It was more of a message to Tobias than anything else. I knew we had a full bullpen, but still. This is how we're going to do it, man," per Jack Stern of BrewerFanatic.com. Myers has shown substantial rust in his two outings after spending the first part of the season on the injured list -- he's posted a 5:7 K:BB across six innings but has avoided taking a loss so far.

Perdomo went 1-for-1 with three RBI and a stolen base in a 4-3 win over the Mets on Wednesday.

Perdomo began the game on the bench, but he ended up making a big impact on the outcome anyway. The switch-hitting shortstop entered as a pinch hitter in the seventh inning and gave Arizona its first lead with a two-run single. Perdomo then tacked on another run with a sacrifice fly in the ninth. He's already at 24 RBI through 30 contests on the campaign, putting him more than halfway to his career-high mark of 47 RBI established over 144 regular-season games in 2023.

Taylor went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and a stolen base in Monday's loss to the Diamondbacks.

Taylor batted out of the No. 9 spot in the lineup and collected three of New York's seven hits, with one of his knocks being a solo homer in the ninth inning. That long ball was his first of the campaign and came one game after Taylor hit a double to snap a seven-game stretch with no extra-base hits. Taylor went hitless over a span of 14 at-bats between April 22 and April 27 but has gone 6-for-10 with three RBI in three games since.

Waddell allowed three hits and struck out four batters over 4.1 scoreless relief innings in a no-decision against Arizona on Wednesday.

Waddell was called up from Triple-A ahead of Wednesday's contest and was immediately put to use in a bullpen game for New York. The southpaw entered in the third inning and ended up taking on a near-starter's workload, tossing 60 pitches (40 of which were strikes) over 4.1 scoreless frames. This was Waddell's first MLB appearance since he tallied nine relief outings over stints with three different teams in 2021, as he spent the three subsequent years overseas.

Thompson earned a save against the Mets on Wednesday, issuing an intentional walk and striking out one batter in one scoreless inning.

Arizona brought out Justin Martinez to pitch the ninth frame with the team up three runs, but he surrendered a leadoff homer followed by two walks before getting the hook. Thompson entered and immediately hit Pete Alonso with a pitch to load the bases, but he was able to get out of the jam with just one more run -- which was charged to Martinez -- crossing the plate. With A.J. Puk (elbow) on the injured list, Thompson could get an occasional save chance in games during which Martinez is ineffective or unavailable. However, Shelby Miller and Kevin Ginkel are also candidates for those opportunities, so fantasy managers probably shouldn't rush to pluck Thompson off their waiver wires.

Burnes (1-1) earned the win over the Mets on Wednesday, allowing one run on four hits and five walks while striking out three batters over six innings.

After going winless in his first five starts as a member of the Diamondbacks, Burnes finally got into the win column Wednesday despite being far from sharp. The right-hander threw just 49 of 94 pitches for strikes and issued a season-high five walks, but none of the free passes ended up hurting him -- the only run Burnes allowed came on a Mark Vientos solo homer. Burnes has been troublingly wild this season, as his 4.68 BB/9 is fifth-worst among qualified pitchers and would stand as the worst mark of his career, but he's managed a 3.58 ERA despite also recording a below-average 7.71 K/9. His next start lines up to be a rematch against the Mets next week.

Boyd did not factor into the decision against the Pirates on Wednesday, allowing two runs on six hits and three walks while striking out six over five innings.

Boyd gave up one run in the first and fourth innings, but he faced the minimum number of batters in the two frames in between and was in line for the win until the Cubs yielded three runs in the fifth. He generated 12 whiffs and 16 first-pitch strikes while tossing 83 pitches (52 strikes), and he has recorded at least five strikeouts in four of six starts this season. He's slated to make his next start at home against the Giants next week.

Happ went 2-for-4 with a two-run single and a run scored in Wednesday's 4-3 loss to the Pirates.

Happ put the Cubs on the board with a two-run single in the fifth inning, and he came around to score later in the frame on a wild pitch from Ryan Borucki. After going 5-for-28 in March, Happ ended the month of April with a .288/.353/.385 slash line with one stolen base, 20 runs scored, one home run and 11 RBI in 116 plate appearances.
