Stephenson went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Friday's 6-2 win over the Cubs.

Stephenson's two-run blast in the fourth inning turned out to be the game-winning hit. He's gone deep in three of the last four games, going 8-for-16 during that stretch, and has reached base safely in seven consecutive contests.

Benson started in left field and went 2-for-4 with two runs scored in Friday's 6-2 win over the Cubs.

Benson, who had been playing right field for an injured Jake Fraley, maintained a lineup presence with Fraley's return Friday. A convenient opening in left field occurred when the Reds placed Austin Hays (foot) on the 10-day injured list. Benson has cooled off since he homered five times in four games in the middle of the month, going 3-for-21 with two walks, three RBI and two runs over his last seven games.

Suarez struck out three over 1.1 perfect innings Friday to record his 18th save of the season in a 3-2 win over the Pirates.

The right-hander breezed through Pittsburgh's 5-6-7-8 hitters as he moved back into the MLB lead in saves, one ahead of Seattle's Andres Munoz. Suarez has been tagged for earned runs only once in his last 13 appearances, and through 24.1 innings on the season he's produced a 2.22 ERA, 0.82 WHIP and 28:6 K:BB while converting 18 of his 20 save chances.

Pivetta (6-2) picked up the win Friday, allowing two runs on six hits over six innings in a 3-2 victory over the Pirates. He struck out eight without walking a batter.

The right-hander blanked the Bucs through five innings before getting peppered with singles in the sixth, but Pivetta eventually put out the fire and saw the Padres re-take the lead in the bottom of the frame. He's delivered three straight quality starts and seven in 11 trips to the mound this season, and Pivetta will take a 2.74 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and 71:18 K:BB through 62.1 innings into his next outing, which is scheduled to come on the road next week in San Francisco.

Keller (1-7) took the loss Friday, giving up three runs on three hits and two walks over six innings as the Pirates were downed 3-2 by the Padres. He struck out one.

The veteran righty managed only three swinging strikes among his 78 pitches (49 total strikes), but Keller generated plenty of weak contact as he delivered his fifth straight quality start, and ninth in 12 trips to the mound this season. His reliability has been matched only by the consistently poor offensive support he's gotten from the Pirates -- in all five of the games during his QS streak, Pittsburgh's scored two runs or fewer, and the team has yet to push more than four runs across in any of his 2025 starts. Should the Bucs look to move him by the trade deadline, Keller could see his fantasy value soar on a contender. He'll take a 3.73 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 56:19 K:BB through 70 innings into his next outing, which lines up to come at home next week against the Astros.

Marte went 1-for-3 with two walks and a run scored in Friday's 9-7 loss to Washington.

Marte returned to action after missing two games due to an illness. He was back in the field at second base and batting second behind Corbin Carroll against a righty. Marte has hit safely in the 10 straight games, batting .350 (14-for-40) with three home runs, five RBI, one steal and nine runs scored in that span.

Perdomo batted third and went 1-for-5 with two RBI and a run scored in Friday's 9-7 loss to the Nationals.

Perdomo had made several appearances in the upper third of the batting order this season but only when Ketel Marte was injured or resting. With Marte back from a two-game absence due to an illness, Arizona manager Torey Lovullo made the call to leave Perdomo up in the order, per Alex Weiner of Arizona Sports. Perdomo's line when batting in the upper third of the order is .291/.393/.458 with seven doubles, five home runs and 24 RBI through 31 games.

Rodriguez (shoulder) allowed four runs (three earned) on three hits and one walk while striking out nine over 4.2 innings Friday in a rehab start in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League.

After throwing a simulated game Monday, Rodriguez took the hill Friday for his first appearance in a formal game setting since landing on the 15-day injured list a little more than two weeks ago. The left-hander's nine strikeouts were positive, but all three hits he allowed were home runs. The Diamondbacks will assess the performance before considering the next step for Rodriguez, who can be activated at any time.

Freeman went 3-for-4 with two doubles, one RBI and one run scored in Friday's 8-5 win over the Yankees.

After going hitless in consecutive games for just the second time all year May 23-24 versus the Mets, Freeman has bounced back in a big way with four multi-hit efforts over his last five contests. He is 10-for-20 (.500) with three RBI and three doubles in that span. The star first baseman is batting .368 with a 1.066 OPS while adding nine home runs, 16 doubles, 37 RBI, 31 runs scored and one triple over 46 contests this season.

Ohtani went 2-for-5 with two solo home runs in Friday's 8-5 win over the Yankees.

Ohtani's first-inning blast answered Aaron Judge's homer. In the sixth, Ohtani went yard again to spark a four-run inning. The 30-year-old superstar matched Cal Raleigh's power production Friday to stay atop the major-league leaderboard with 22 homers. Ohtani has added a spectacular .294/.394/.670 slash line with 37 RBI, 61 runs scored, 11 stolen bases, nine doubles and four triples across 55 contests. He had gone nine games without a multi-hit effort entering Friday, but Ohtani still came through with four homers in that stretch.
